It was almost dusk when half of the 12th Division's troops joined the 11th Division's encampment in front of a large gate that gave access to the Amarest Great Forest. There were no elves there. However, there are traces of blood there—there has been a battle/murder there. And from the looks of it, it was most likely an internal conflict.
Putting aside the staff and other workers, there were a total of 22,500 Imperial Army soldiers in the camp area. 15,000 from Division 11, 7,500 from Division 12. They'll all be moving in the morning right at sunrise. The inevitable war of ‒ Reinhart has long since returned with reports saying that the Elf Kingdom would rather pocket the empire than leave the New World Order.
New tents were set up. Logistics are also available for the next four days. Dozens of Division 3 soldiers had also put down their command tents—the position was a bit far from those tents. All the preparations can be done quickly because of the hard work from them. If the 3rd Division did not exist, it would be impossible for the Imperial Army to set off for war tomorrow morning. It takes at least two weeks to be fully prepared.
Within the crowd of tents made in that circular formation, three tents larger than the other tents stood right in the middle. Of the three large tents, the tent in the middle was one and a half times larger than the tent on the right-left. It was the command center tent. However, the tent was still empty—the soldiers were still busy filling it with items.
...—two and a half hours later, Main Tent—...
Around the large round table above which lay a map of the vast Amarest Great Forest, three standing chairs divided it in the same large angle. However, no one occupied the chair. Everything in the tent in a standing position, eyes fixed on the markers arranged on the map.
“As we know, there are two types of warriors that the Elf Kingdom has: special warriors (or better known as Black Shadow) and Elven Army.” Emily—, who was in charge of moderating the discussion for tomorrow's assault, said as she smacked the tip of the pointer stick into her palm. “Before there were three, but since Evillia Evrillia held the throne, the elite royal guard force was merged with the Elven Army.
“Elven Army in total consists of sixty thousand soldiers, divided into four equal divisions. Their Main Commander is Alforalis Grammolia, she is strong—dia the strongest elf after the queen. There was no doubt that he would lead the Elven Army army directly. However, zero percent he would mobilize all the Elven Army troops. At the very highest, he would only move half of it, leaving another half to protect the three cities.
“Meanwhile, Black Shadow only consisted of ten squad—and each squad consisted of ten core members. Like the Chiron Army, they are the terelite of the terelite. Six of their captains were members of the seven queen's bodyguards the other member was Alforalis. Black Shadow will most likely attack us clandestinely, aiding the Elven Army that we will openly confront.
“For that, we will face them by dividing the troops into three. The main force would attack from the main road, consisting of nine battalions (out of a total of fifteen battalions). Her Highness himself will lead them.” Emily turned her head to what was meant, once she got the nod she refocused on the others.
“The next squad of three battalions will attack from the right wing ‒ I myself will lead this army. Then, three battalions would join forces to attack from the left wing. Commander Xavier will lead them—and these three battalions are all from Division 12. Our target is not the other two cities, but the same as the main force: Evrillia.”
“Most likely we will clash with them here,” pause Emily while directing the end of the stick at the point between Evrillia and the edge of the forest. “Alforalis won't let us through more than this. And we're gonna surround him here. Therefore, my army and Commander Xavier's army will depart first instead of the main army. From here...”.
...—Evrillia, Elf Kingdom—...
There were two reasons why Atland was content to know Elenoa was in Evrillia. First, the approach. Atland wanted to know more about the woman. Second, if his approach is successful, the false accusation that he is a homo will be eliminated. His good name would return, and the men he spoke to could dispel their vigilance.
That certainly doesn't mean Atland is taking advantage of Elenoa. Really no. He has a taste for that woman. They used to fight together during the attack on Etharna City. The memories of that day were still imprinted, moreover back then they seemed to fit in with each other.
“Sorry to keep you waiting.”
Atland spontaneously turned around to hear the feminine voice but was full of authority. He immediately faced a beautiful woman clad in a tight black uniform that made his curves look—and Atland did not comment about that!
“You are now joining Black Shadow?” atland asked, approaching Elenoa, holding out a hand.
“There were some problems that occurred, and I had no other choice but to fill the position as the captain of the Black Shadow 4th Squad. The pay did not disappoint either. What can I do.” Elenoa paused for a while, shone at Atland, before then continuing. “So, what purpose do you want to meet me for? Me and my squad are busy tonight. We have to direct the Magical Beast to step aside in the direction of the passing of the Imperial Army.”
“I want you to take me to a popular place here. But I changed my mind. Let me come with you!” A wide smile brazed on Atland's face. “My view is sharp. I'm also a sensory magic user. And you won't find a better archer than me. I'm sure my presence will be of great help.”
“Hm, I can't deny that your presence will be of great help, and I will gladly accept it. However, don't you have an important task tomorrow? You better rest tonight. I'll consider taking you to a popular spot once our business is done.”
Atland could not deny that. Yet….
“I will only accompany you until after midnight, after which I will directly return here to rest. However, instead, you should take me to popular places—no longer consider. How?”
“Seal!”
Atland couldn't be happier la—ah, he'd be even happier if Elenoa wasn't wearing gloves.
