LANCELOT had just finished hearing the reports of his four captains when a Royal Army— warrior specialising in protecting the palace and the palace family— came forward to deliver a message from the king. The message said that he immediately went to the palace to discuss the issue of protection of the capital. Since Pope Genea was gone, Axellibra was entirely their responsibility.
Lancelot simply nodded and instructed his four captains to return to their respective positions. Then followed the Royal Army soldiers to the palace. The total number of Royal Army soldiers was only a thousand, but they were all former Knights Templar's best warriors. They will be very useful to overcome the invasion. Working with them was vital to Axellibra's safety.
It did not take them long to arrive at the palace; it was Lexata IX himself who welcomed Lancelot.
“We will face Division 1 of the Imperial Army and Vermyna's right-hand man,” Lexata said as he invited Lancelot in. “Division 12 will also be here, but Pope Genea does not know if their commander will join or not. That was the reason Pope asked Sir Gallahad to stop the movement of Division 12.”

Lexata IX understands that. So he called Lancelot here. They need to make sure the anti-gravity magic devices are being deployed across the city. Evacuation of civilians to Abilene and Canaan is also ongoing. So, they also need to make sure that the enemy does not set foot in Axellibra before the evacuation process is complete.
“My family has been evacuated,” continued Lexata— who is actually still in close contact with Lancelot. “I will make this palace as an anti-gravity center just like the main church. “Not mean to demean you, King Lexata,” Lancelot continued before Lexata misunderstood. “You are indeed strong in the usual standard. But between First Saint to Sixth Saint, your strength has no place.”
“Not to worry; I don't feel humbled. Your words are right. However, compared to Valeria and Lilithia, all I could possibly deal with was Lilithia without her gravity. So, this is not because I insist, but because there is no other option.”
“Ah...”.
Lancelot had no argument for countering the king's honesty. They had no way of weakening Valeria, but they were different from Lilithia. The king's words were indeed the only option in which they would not be crushed by the commander.
“Good if you understand. Now come with me downstairs, I need your help before we go on to discuss troop deployment.”
