Against the World II: Transgression
Chapter 28: Sheer Stupidity, part 1

...—20th January, E643 | Camp Knight Templar, 20 km north of Ekralina Kingdom—...

The number of tents standing was far more than the number of cacti in the barren land. All the tents are arranged in such a way that they form a semi-circular formation convex to the south. Meanwhile, the four largest tents of all tents are on the north side of the park, the four of which stand next to each other about 30 meters.

Order 7, Order 8, Order 10, and Order 12. It was written on the plate hanging above the door of the four large tents. There are also special notes under that writing: 45,000 soldiers are under “Ordo 7”; 65,000 soldiers are under “Ordo 8”; 60,000 soldiers are under “Ordo 10”; and 50,000 soldiers are under “Ordo 12”. In total, there were a total of 220 thousand soldiers.

The four large tents were resting places and the workings of the four Saints who led the soldiers. The Order 7 Tent of Ninth Saint Dimitar Kolovasteen. The Order 8 tent is occupied by Tenth Saint Marya Ellenswarth. The Order 10 tent is occupied by Eleventh Saint Rodolf Vlasenki. Lastly, Twelfth Saint Alfonso Alsabnitz occupied the tent of Order 12.

However, even though the four Saints had their own tents, the four were currently gathered inside the Order 10 tent.

They sat around a large square table. The four of course did not gather to gossip as the mothers in their society; Alfonso and his three colleagues were talking about serious matters. More precisely, Alfonso was trying hard to reject the proposal to subdue Carolina from within.

“You guys are really stubborn!” hardik Alfonso for the umpteenth time. “The city is haunted. Me and my men are tired of being terrorized. If you insist on subduing Carolina from the inside, I refuse to join. I will declare Mortana a traitor and attack openly. They had refused to fulfill the words of the idiot Rossia, and now they had nurtured the undead within the city. It can't be left!”

“Alfonso...If there really is a ghost, shouldn't you exterminate it?” ask the man in his thirties bearded bushy—Rodolf Vlasenki—with eyebrows that are linked. “Isn't that including the duties of a Knight Templar, especially a Saint?”

“Haaa..” Alfonso showed his tired look. This short brown haired man even shook his head in disbelief. “You really don't know anything, Rodolf, I feel sorry for you. I feel sorry for you guys standing up too. Ghosts are not ghosts. He can't be seen. There's nothing you can do to attack him. He's so scary. The terror is unparalleled. He's a ghost that's already exceeded the definition of a ghost. The creature was terla—”

“In conclusion, are you afraid of ghosts?” tanya Dimitar cut off Alfonso's monologue without permission.

Alfonso, whose words were cut, was immediately shocked, his mouth opened without being able to issue a word of rebuttal.

“Bwahahaha!’ Marya laughed back and forth until she broke the table ‒ she had absolutely no authority as a woman. “It's worth it that Rossia always pranks you, Alfonso, you're such an idiot. How could a Saint be afraid of ghosts? Mwahahaha.”

“I don't want to hear the idiotic accusations of an idiot woman like you, Marya!” snapped Alfonso was full of annoyance, he had already returned from the effects of the mental attack that Dimitar had missed. “And I'm not afraid of ghosts at all. Even if the accusation was true in another world, it was still more mending than having a wife in a dream. It's stupidity, it's madness that there's no cure!”

“Oi, yes, Alfonso! I understand that you are actually a coward and only large-bodied, no need to dodge until you ridicule others.” Dimitar said calmly as he crossed both arms across the chest. “Again, my wife is really in a dream. Last night we just talked about names that would be suitable for our children. Singles like you might understand.”

“Alfonso, it's okay to admit that you're afraid of ghosts. Everyone has things they fear.” Rodolf said wisely. “You too, Dimitar, it's okay to claim you have a wife in a dream. But, learn to approach women in the real world. Even if you have a wife in a dream, in the real world you are still a single man who likes to sweat cold when alone with women. And you, Marya...can you stop laughing?”

“Haaa..” Rodolf shook his head slowly disappointed. “You are a Saint, act and behave like a Saint. Take this example of me. I am calm, thoughtful, generous, admired by the prajuirts, loved by the women. Really, I'm the right model that you should be an example of. Imitate you, and you will become true Saints.” Rodolf showed off his elegant smile. “Well, now let's get back to the topic: Tonight's menu I want black deer curry. It would be better if there is un—”

“We're talking about the subjugation of Ekralina Kingdom, senile bastard!” alfonso cried out in emotion, the glass filled with water was already lodged into Rodolf's face.

So hard throw Alfonso, the Eleventh Saint to the back. He fainted; the throw was so loud that it left a mark.

Alfonso calmed his hunting breath and sat back down quietly; he was tired.

“Ah, I just thought of the perfect joke!” marya suddenly shouted while standing from her chair. “This joke is so funny that I can't help but laugh when I think about it. So, look, if in a box there is e‒bwahahahaha!”

“Oi, Marya, stop laughing so stupid! I was talking to my wife about what Rodolf said earlier.”

“I give up...” Alfonso. “ Dealing with that idiot Rossia is easier than with you,” he said as he stood up, turned around, and walked away. “There is no hope here.”

Alfonso stopped right in the doorway of the tent, his face looking back. “Dimitar,” call it. “Your wife is in a dream, how can you talk to her while awake? And you, Marya, don't laugh until you're done talking. You are.haaaa. As the only normal person here, I will lighten your duties and give an ultimatum directly to Mortana.”

Alfonso immediately stepped out without waiting for the response of the two.

He just got back from Carolina this morning and called them all to make a decision. But in the end Alfonso understood why he was chosen to join them. He was a normal human; only he would be able to understand how troublesome all Saints were. He was chosen because he was not an idiot like the idiot Rossia accused.

1127 Plus 3239 equals 4368. When a person walks to the left, he also walks to the right. Heat is just a word to describe the absence of cold. The sun is just a ball of plasma that is burned. That night could be there because the day needs rest. Alfonso knew all that. Therefore, he was not an idiot at all. He's a normal human being. He is the man of choice here.

“Pope Genea indeed had no other choice but to rely on me,” muttered Alfonso seriously, and he was not at all afraid of ghosts as alleged ‒ Alfonso just did not dare to deal with them.
