Chapter 46: Perfect and Imperfect, part 1
“ TOTALLY. My wings are no longer black, and I think they're more perfect. But let's not be too pleasant-talking. Take out your power just now. You are now no different from a piece of wood that can't be anything. I want to make you a yardstick. Infinity Domain.”
In an instant, the sky disappeared. Xavier is no longer in a crater in the middle of the Amerlesia Mountains. It was on the surface of an arid land where the sky was dark. There were ten months that emitted pale rays from all directions. This is not another dimension. There are no ordinary fluctuations in energy in the dimensional sac. It was as if he was on the surface of another world for real.
“[Infinity Domain] is the second power I get,” explains Lucifer. “This power itself is a small universe in which applies the concept of infinity. We are not in a dimensional pocket, but in a universe that is in the universe. Therefore, it cannot be destroyed as the dimensions. And you know what's more interesting?”
Xavier did not respond. He knew Lucifer didn't want to hear the answer. The man only wanted to boast of his strength. He was like a child who got a new toy, the desire to show off was very high.
“Here I am the infinity itself,” continued Lucifer with both hands half-stretched. “Here I'll never end. I'll never be tired. I won't be able to die either. No matter how powerful a person is, being in this universe will guarantee his defeat. Well, let's get your power out quick. I want to feel an interesting battle before collecting all the remaining Supreme Magic.”
At this second, if he doesn't want to be Lucifer's moons like Fie did to him, Xavier knows he has only one option. His mana was also more than enough to use the power of his past memories for a dozen minutes. He had no choice but to do what Lucifer wanted.

A small Xavier appeared on his left side. Xavier said nothing. He also did not look at his memory. Xavier waited for the owner of the voice to explain. He needed an explanation for what his eyes were seeing.
“At this point, you probably already know what it takes to open the sun gate. Pure black flames were the key to it. Edenia created it to throw me into the sun gate. I fought with Phoenix and made a deal, if he lost then he would give me his strength whenever I wanted. That is, you don't have to open the sun gate at all. Pure black fire is also not needed.”
…Xavier had repeatedly listened to how his memory prided itself on being able to defeat the Phoenix without Supreme Magic. What he heard was not surprising. Thinking of the day where he heard someone say "there are beings stronger than Fie and Vermyna" would actually arrive….
“Second option,” Advanced Xavier small. “Stop being human and evolve, only then do you use the first option. With evolution, your physique might match Lucifer's. Xavier could imagine that happening. His memory has said that since childhood he has been nurtured Edenia. If he had that memory, maybe he would turn around following the creature. There is no more terrifying possibility than that. And if that happens, he has betrayed Luciel's trust.
“Your choice?”
Little Xavier only smiled faintly, then his gaze moved from Xavier to the floating soul core. “You heard that, Phoenix?” ask with a condescending look. “Be a good pet and fulfill your duty.”
A myriad of white flames burned the darkness that controlled the recesses of his soul. And before Xavier had a chance to blink, Xavier's small body had bounced off. At that moment a pair of eyes appeared behind the blazing white flames.
“I'm not your pet, Mortal. Hmph, I wish I could kill you, but the deal is a.” deal
Xavier's body instantly heated up, he felt like he was about to melt at any moment. And along with the ruckus coming out of Xavier's small mouth, Xavier was blown away by a huge energy shock.
And as soon as Xavier's eyes blinked, he suddenly came back face to face with Lucifer.
“I don't feel your power increase. What was? You can't pull—”
Lucifer's words stopped to coincide with the appearance of a white blaze that surrounded Xavier from foot to chest.
The heat swallowed Xavier's body to the deepest part of his body. His blood, his flesh, his bones, even every cell in his body were like being burned directly. If not for [Reverse Law], perhaps now he had already screamed and thrashed while rolling on the ground. The pain that his body was receiving was unbearable.
“..[Celestial White Flame]. I didn't think you had it. But good, I don't have to bother entering the sun and robbing the magic lang—hmmm..
Xavier was too focused on changing his body to handle Lucifer's words. He felt his body getting taller, but his hair remained. His body is forced to age. And by the time the heat gnawing on his body disappeared, he felt two or three years older. His sight had also become extremely sharp. He could see his reflection in Lucifer's eyes.

“Not bad!” exclaiming Lucifer who has landed not far from the position of Xavier lying. “Phoenix is indeed on its own level. You're stronger than Nueva after evolving. Your body's resilience and regeneration are at a higher level than him. But it's still not enough!” Lucifer's eyes exuded a high enthusiasm. “Take out your previous strength. Entertain me with an amazing match!”
Xavier sat down and looked intensely at the dragon angel. He could feel the similarity between them. Lucifer likes to fight like him. The difference is, Lucifer is only interested in strong opponents, while Xavier has no problem with weak opponents.
“I want to try this power, but you're right. It can't be called a fight if I'm dealing with you in my current situation. Soul Incarnate.”'s
