Chapter 45: Mastermind, Part 2
Time always gives the answer to almost every problem. Same with Lucifer. He managed to answer his own question after a long period of contemplation: He was wrong. Angels are not born, but their own creation automatically connects them to the Throne of Heaven. Because basically, the creation of life cannot be done without the Throne of Heaven.
Getting a basic answer to his question, Lucifer began to think of other necessary conditions. How can he transend? Can evolution be a solution? Fie was not born with black wings or white wings, but black and white wings. Can it be counted as evolution? So evolution is a second condition?
Lucifer conducted various experiments using the human soul. But nothing works. Aside from having to kill the soul of the newly formed fetus before inserting another dead human soul, he also had to make sure the body he chose was compatible with his soul. That takes a lot of time.
However, Lucifer's actions can not be covered perfectly. Luciel sniffed sharply at his action.

But more surprising than that was the sudden collapse of the empty dimension. At first Lucifer thought it was due to his fight with Luciel, but later he withdrew that assumption.
Because in the state of an injured body, and passing the time, Lucifer could do nothing but attract a nearby demon at origin and give him instructions, then he threw the demon into the dimensional gap a moment before the dimension collapsed entirely. Lucifer and the demons are thrown back into hell after the empty dimension collapses.
Lucifer immediately summoned Mammon and Beelzebub faced him after the state of the demons stabilized. He made his point to the two demons. Because, among the demon higher-ups, only the two of them were truly loyal. Lucifer hides his soul within Mammon, and he gives Beelzebub the task of guarding his body.
Lucifer's waiting period was answered when the demon finally found a human that could be used as a collision to summon Mammon. His name is Edward Penumbra. Lucifer forbade Mammon to kill Edward. He asks the devil to use his blood magic and control Edward's body. Edward is an empty-handed fighter who tries to control life energy, he can come in handy in the future.
With Edward's soul and Mammon's soul, anyone would find it difficult to sense Lucifer's soul. Even if Luciel managed to find a powerful host for him to take over, it was likely that he would also not be able to sense the presence of his soul. A great advantage.
However, before that, Mammon first found a suitable human for Lucifer to use as a container. Nueva Vermillion, a talented human who aspires to become a god. There was no other human who was more suitable than him. Lucifer lets Mammon carry out the task he left in his way.
It only took a few years for Mammon to get everything ready. Most likely Luciel has still not found the right body for him to inhabit. Because of that, the fragment of Thevetat's soul was collected without a hitch. And with Mammon and Nueva successfully convincing Hernandez the blacksmith, Nueva managed to be reborn—although they had to wait a long time for it.
And of course, in order to make sure it wasn't Nueva who transented, Lucifer cut off a little part of Nueva's soul. Nueva does not remember her past life. Lucifer has only regained Nueva's memory when he believes Nueva will no longer be able to transend after evolving. And as a safeguard, he attached his destructive energy to that piece of soul. That energy also serves as a link between herself and Nueva in the future.
“Absolutely. You are just a tool I need to help me evolve and transcend,” explained Lucifer again after he reviewed a little about how he got to this day. “I will unite your dragonoid body with my angel body. Your soul will be destroyed in the process of merging it. And there's nothing you can do to stop it.”
“But take it easy,” continued Lucifer as soon as the gates of hell began to appear behind the emperor. “Your desire will live in someone else. Your wish to be a god, I will be a god to you. And your desire to create a peaceful world, someone else might inherit that desire.”
As quickly as it appeared, the gates of hell disappeared without a trace. And immediately, dark energy shut the emperor in an impenetrable cube.
However, Lucifer did not have time to look at such a huge energy upheaval. Xavier had been behind him with a pitch-black fire sword swinging. The commander had managed to open the gap from Lucifer's unbound attack. No, rather, Xavier had absorbed all of Lucifer's attacks to the point of being unresponsive.
Lucifer lowered his head to avoid the commander's black fire slash and then elbowed his abdomen while twisting.
Xavier's black fire slash struck the empty air, and then his body crashed. Lucifer didn't let go of an overly harsh elbow. So, no wonder the commander can land on both feet just a few meters from Lucifer.
However, even though the commander had bothered him from watching the black energy cube that hid the amazing process, Lucifer was not upset. He did not even show the gesture of wanting to attack. Instead, the lips of this former archangel were precisely curved. He smiles.
“I thought you deserved the word ‘thank you’ from me,” said Lucifer casually. “If you don't make Nueva helpless, it will be hard for me to subdue her. If Luciel is still in you, I want to thank him too. But I can no longer feel it. Even so, thanks for the cooperation, Commander Xavier.”
