Chapter 4: Silent Night, Part 2
Nizivia spontaneously looked back, her heterokromy iris then faced the perpetrator who stabbed her in the back. Nizivia's body was suddenly moving itself about to attack, but it just penetrated through the body. And his surprise grew when his hands could not touch each other. His initial thought came back: he was already completely dead?
“...We are no longer alive, but cannot also be called dead.”
Nizivia's eyes blinked, but the sensation of the work was not at all he felt, his body as an illusion that “advanced” its existence—to be exact, what was left of it.
Nizivia turned around, looking at the woman who had thrust her hand against Nizivia's back. When he looks at her past-goals, Nizivia feels they are different. Although those eyes were the same, but the sight of the vampire before her was a hundred percent different from Vermyna. It was as if.he and Vermyna were the same individuals at once different.
“...You can think of me as Vermyna's sister, at least.that was before the goddamn creature said I was nothing but half her.” The woman clucked furiously and growled furiously, before then shaking her head slowly and looking intensely at Nizivia. “So, did you destroy Vermyna's body until she felt she had no choice but to ‘reclaim’ another part of her?”

“We who here are nothing but ego (personality) only, our body and soul already belong to Vermyna. Ego is not alive, nor is it dead, it is only ‘ada’ ‒ we are only ‘ada’. We're only here because Vermyna wants us here. If Vermyna wants us to vanish, we'll vanish.”
“I-That's su—”
“Oya, oya, you guys are familiar apparently.”
…The only thing that stopped Nizivia from lunging at the perpetrator who had just interrupted her speech was the fact that it was useless ‒ touching yourself just could not, let alone want to attack others. However, that did not stop Nizivia from glaring at the creature. Even so with the interlocutor vampire—they seemed to be one way in growling at Vermyna (who appeared in a new look again).
“Very good reaction, I appreciate.” Vermyna smiled witfully as she sat down on the throne that appeared suddenly. “By the way, I've finished processing both of you're memories: you're both apparently in love with Xavier von Hernandez, eh? And also, Catherine, how can you monopolize that particular blood?”
Various reactions colored Nizivia and Catherine's faces, but Vermyna ignored and continued her monologue, “It feels like I should visit her. Ah, I can replace you two to have it. How about, good idea, right?”

Xavier's eyes finally blinked after previously being silent fixated on the show that had just happened.

Xavier once again blinked as soon as he heard footsteps, he quickly darted away from the front of the Imperial Palace. More than a minute later, Xavier had been at their main headquarters—in the throne room that was there.
He quickly went to Monica's room which had headquarters, but the room was empty—the door was even open.
Panic slowly narrows into Xavier's mind, but he quickly takes the taste and rushes to Catherine's room.
Like Monica's room, Catherine's door was open. “Moni—!”
“Xavier! Thank goodness you came! Quickly, eliminate time stoppage that confines Em and En.”
Xavier doesn't ask what's going on, [Reverse Law] he quickly uses to make Em and En's time run again. Whoever did it, he stopped the second time Dhampire as they shouted something—hal it was clearly visible from their posture.

“Pacify yourself, explain everything in detail!” Xavier's instructions. “You too, Monica, explain what happened. Evillia already said that Nizivia and Lumeira ambushed you.”
“...Let myself explain all—huh...this feeling....”.
Xavier, Monica, Em and En reflexively turned to the source of the voice that appeared suddenly. They should have been surprised, but the intruder was surprised. Xavier did not know what surprised him, but clearly his anger peaked after looking at the intruder's appearance.
The only thing keeping him in place was the danger that the body radiated—Xavier did not want to attack when Monica was with him.

Never mind looking from afar, Vermyna had never faced Xavier directly. All he knew about her was what was in Catherine and Nizivia's memories, as well as from Lumeira's reports. He had never been directly in front of her. Hence, it was no wonder Vermyna was so shocked when she saw him head-on.
