Chapter 8: Defeat in Victory, Part 4
In the same time motion, all Spatial Spears (whose color is dark black) disappear from the realm of existence. Not only were space spears lost, all of Vermyna (other than the real one) also vanished unceremoniously. Some of the dimensional bubbles that were inside the arena also disappeared. It seems to have been deliberately eliminated by the maker, but it really is not.
“Need help?” A hand extended forward along with a question sound containing only two words.
Kanna did not allow the helping hand to linger untouched, her hand quickly grabbed that hand. The voice is clearly who it belongs to. Even that expression was real to his commander. And most clearly, Kanna felt Xavier stronger than ever. More than that, Xavier who helped him stand this was Xavier who was stronger than when facing Undead Thevetat.

“What happened to him?” vermyna asked while avoiding the second barrage of Xavier's fists. “I don't feel her presence anywhere at all. It's like Luciel self-destructed.” Vermyna's last words said in a whisper.
Nizivia with her [Complete Sensory] could feel Luciel's soul within her body; obviously Vermyna was a bit surprised when she couldn't feel Luciel's soul at all.
“You use [Complete Sensory] much better than Nizivia,” comments Xavier, not at all interested in serving the question of the ancestors of the demons. “Tak surprise Kanna—and now I—t can not land a single attack.”
Even after Xavier used the Lightning Armor on top of the Enchanted Flame Armor, the situation had not changed. His black fire spears could not touch the target. His lightning waves only struck empty space. Vermyna with her [Complete Sensory] and [Teleportation Magic] was a super troublesome combination.
Xavier was ready to sacrifice a lot of mana to stop Vermyna's mobility with [Reverse Law], but the ancestors of the demons had already dodged and counterattacked him with the dimensional bubbles he had blown up in the exclamation of “Dimensions Blast”.
Of course the attack meant nothing to Xavier. He can also teleport. This was a high-level battle that relied on speed and teleportation. There were no super destructive attacks; it was just purely about speed. And of course Xavier was not benefited. [Complete Sensory] felt the movement of every muscle of her body, making Vermyna always able to dodge before Xavier's attack perfectly landed.
Therefore this time Xavier changed his ways, he stopped with both palms in a fused state. Since now that Luciel's soul had fully consumed his Magic Container, Xavier could now use the Blessing of Divine. By gaining that ability, he could now reach the peak of [Reverse Law]—hal which made [Reverse Law] more amazing than all Supreme Magic, at least for him and Luciel.
Grand Order: the power that allows him to rule the Laws of the Universe, rather than reverse the laws of the universe. More than that, it does not need to focus on the object that [Reverse Law] wants to hit. The universe did it for Xavier. As long as the distance and target are not too far away, the Grand Order will not fail as long as the order is clear.
The amount of mana that disappeared from Xavier's body was unusually large. Nearly ninety percent of his mana capacity had left Xavier's body. It shows that the entity named Vermyna Hellvarossa is a creature in its own class.
“—Don’t Move.”
Xavier's orders were quickly set.
Vermyna who was creating the dimensional spear suddenly became motionless stiff. However, his magic spear did not fade. Even though his body looked motionless, his consciousness was still there, and his magic was still in control. It's just, he won't be able to move. Xavier had no idea how long the command had lasted, hence his eyes quickly glanced at the di—-dying Kanna
“Do not take your eyes off the opponent. Great Lightning Explosion.”
—Xavier bounced off the impact his stomach received, then a huge burst of lightning engulfed his entire body. Simultaneously less than a second after, a barrage of Spatial Spears participated in hitting Xavier.
Xavier landed on one knee. His body was still smoky from the explosion. If he was a little slower in using [Reverse Law], naturally he would feel an unsettling pain. And fortunately Spatial Spear came later than the explosion, so he had time to eliminate it.
“How can you move?” xavier asked as he stood up, a questionable expression dyed his face. Because, it was the Grand Order, the culmination of [Reverse Law]. Even if he could finally make a move, it would at least take a short amount of time, not just a few seconds like what happened to Vermyna.
“[Reverse Law], it's magic that has its own advantages. But unfortunately, such magic is not appropriate if you use it on me. You can think of my existence as anti-[Reverse Law].”
“But you couldn't move.” Xavier was sure it wasn't a mistake to see; vermyna had indeed been motionless.
“Of course. My current strength is not perfect. That's all the reason. And soon you will see how my strength is perfect. That's of course if you can survive from here.”
Anomalously. Xavier believes it has to do with his powers as an abnormal being. There is no other explanation.
“How, want melan—oh, it looks like the princess self has finished making the anti-magic field.”
