Against the World II: Transgression
Chapter 52: Grand Foreigner, part 5

Xavier, even in his wildest imagination, did not think he would see Kanna become like this. Kanna is the ideal figure of a princess, an empress. However, before him now, Kanna seemed to have turned one hundred and eighty degrees. The aura of evil from him felt so thick. Seeing it was as if seeing the embodiment of the source of darkness in the heart of a mortal being.

“What happened to you?” Xavier throws in a question. “Are you really Kanna? You're not acting like you. You should see me angry and disappointed now, but your eyes are comforted.”

“What happened to me?” parrot Kanna as if she wanted to circle Xavier. “Nothing happened. I was always like this from the beginning. Acting. Maybe the word is right to use. All this time I pretended to be an ideal princess in the eyes of people, but today I decided it was no longer necessary. I myself am disgusted by that.”

“Edenia already controls herself,” Vermyna's cool timpal secures herself in Xavier's arms. “We have to kill him before it's too late. Himself now is a disaster that runs.”

“Not,” said Xavier responding to Vermyna's accusations, but his eyes remained on Kanna. “I've spent a lot of time with Edenia; I'll know that she's in her control.”

“...You are...yourself already...”.

“Ya,” cut Xavier before Vermyna was able to finish her sentence. He wanted to accompany the short answer with a smile, but could not—not with a sharp view of Kanna who watched like a predator. We continue to talk later, he said telepathically into Vermyna's head, but now I'm going to teleport you to Incell's place. Stay there until I get back. I'm afraid Kanna will really kill you. Ah, I've sent Monica and Artemys there. Don't do anything to them, or you'll regret it.

Xavier doesn't let Vermyna return his words; the queen has already disappeared from Xavier's arms right after he finished telepathically.

“So, she did tell the truth, ..if she's your wife.” Kanna didn't give Xavier a pause to respond. “You tricked me from the beginning. You killed my father. You betrayed the trust between us. And I'm sure there's something else you're hiding. At this point, you're no longer a little cat; you're already a big cat. You must be killed.”

“But,” continued Kanna along with her feet that were already right in front of Xavier—she fast. “I like cat garong. Ah, I should have killed you after all the crimes you committed, but strangely enough I liked it even more. I love it when a feline like you shows such great guts, and I prefer it when it shrinks. Seeing the ludicrous resistance slowly wear off made my soul passionate.”

Kanna ended her speech while holding Xavier's chin with her left hand, which of course was immediately pushed aside.

“Ah, I love this match. You made me want to cut off your hand and then ask, how now are you going to fight?”

“Are you really Kanna? What the hell's going on? You have two personalities? Or...if this doesn't make sense.you have a memory of the past? Have you ever lived in the past? So now you're a four-dimensional being?”

“...So, that happened to you.” For a moment the evil aura that enveloped Kanna disappeared, her wings came back pure white. He stood up with his face fixed, then his eyes looked back at Xavier with thinly curved lips. “Maybe so,” said.

“Seeing you become like this, you are in the past...”.

“Scary creatures. I was a six-dimensional being. I live in the sixth dimension. I destroyed one universe before I was in this one. I'm a criminal who's hunted all over the dimension. …I might end up destroying this universe.”

Just being shocked was not enough to deduce what Xavier was feeling, he fell silent running out of words.

Hearing that remark, Edenia's worries proved to be true. The assumption is not wrong. They are not the only living things that exist. The world is bigger than they can imagine. Himself, and even Edenia though, might just be a rabbit in the face of a tiger when compared to the outer universe.

“...I can imagine it.”

Kanna smiled gently at the answer, but her wings had darkened again, and the sword in her right hand had pierced through Xavier's body exactly an inch below her heart.

“...Why don't you dodge?” Kanna's expression was flat, her eyes were sharp, her right hand twisting giving the young man greater wounds. “Why don't you dodge?” ask again, this time infiltrated with hatred.

“If killing me can ease a little bit of your anger, if killing me can get you back in control, if killing me can give you satisfaction, that's a small price to pay. I don't mind at all.” Xavier's lips curled thinly. “It's sad to see you like this.”

Kanna's hand stopped moving, stopping from giving Xavier a more gaping wound. “It's not fair if you don't fight back,” muttered as he pulled the sword out of the young man's body. “I really don't like you,” he added then leaned on Xavier, his forehead stuck to the young man's left chest. “I really hate you. Tell me, is everything true?”

Xavier obeyed the command of his heart. He held both hands around the princess. He had a plan to be realized, but at this point it was no longer possible to continue. Looking at the present Kanna, he could not leave Islan in his hands. He did not want to acknowledge Vermyna's words, but right now Kanna was a walking disaster. He can destroy his own dreams.

“Everything is right, except one.” Xavier decided to be straightforward. “I didn't kill your father. I had a plan to kill him, but in the end I couldn't do that. I decided to seal your father's power and make him live like a commoner. But Edward—or the original Lucifer—killed your father first. I killed Lucifer, but I couldn't save your father.”

“...You love me?”

The question came unexpectedly. Along with the question, Kanna's two hands wrapped themselves around him. The sword that pierced him had disappeared to nowhere. The princess clung tightly to him.

“I love you.” Xavier answered without hesitation. That's truth. No need to lie to yourself.

“Lying.”

“You know I don't lie.”

“Vermyna won't be your wife if you don't lie.”

“Vermyna forced herself on me. Artemys forced himself on me. And Monica forced me to marry her soon. I never asked any woman to be my wife.”

“So my guess is right. There's something you and Artemys keep secret. But Artemys is weak, how can he force you?”

“Smart he.”

“...Artemys is smart. All right, I trust.”

“You believe?”

“But you have to prove it. The three women forced you to marry them, so I want you to force me to marry you.”

“Oh, so you like to be forced.”

“Hmph-deep. I'm superior to you, forcing you easy. So you have to force me. Prove that you are capable.”

“You sure you want to be forced? I won't be gentle if I force you. You may have to eat more than you can afford.”

“Heh, you speak as bi—Xavier!”

...—Kazarsia Kingdom—...

Rumors about his resounding super plan—which even Clown himself did not know what it was— spread quickly after Commander Xavier (or who had now claimed himself to be emperor) left the throne room for more than an hour the past.

It starts with the prime minister. He theorized that he, the super-genius King of the Clown, had been using Commander Xavier from the beginning. The theory is based on the moment of his meeting with the commander before he became king. Clown remembers confiding in the emperor, but he doesn't think anyone saw them. In fact, someone saw the meeting. And because of that, the prime minister was convinced that he had brainwashed the commander at that time.

The mad theory of the prime minister is directly supported by the minister of economy and development. He assumes Clown wants to rule Islan without really mastering it. Commander Xavier was very strong, so he chose the commander to be emperor for his sake. The people of Iceland thought the reins of power would be in the hands of Xavier, when in fact the commander was just a Clown messenger.

That crazy theory quickly spread, and now the whole palace has taken it for granted. Clown found everyone he treated looking at him with great admiration. At this point, if he said he was a god who came down to the world, he was sure that no one would doubt. Even some people bowed to him.

It's completely insane, inner Clown while opening the door to her room. His wife at this hour is dealing with a woman welfare program that she proposed. So, Clown was able to take a full rest and make his nearly destroyed mentality prime again.

However, as soon as Clown opened the door of his room, he was shocked to the point of falling down. His heart was beating fast as if it was about to break. Sweat dindin soaked the temples, and his eyes seemed to be about to come out.

Clown had never seen a dragon in person, but even knew that a dragon was no bigger than a mountain. However, the creature behind the angel was so big that it made a pebble-like mountain in the middle of the road. Its dark black color made the ten-winged dragon look terrifying. However, what was most frightening were his large teeth and sharp eyes.

“Your Majesty!”

The call slightly eased Clown's fear, making him turn his face. However, he quickly returned his gaze to the front when he realized how dangerous it was to turn the face away from such a creature. But the creature has vanished. So did the angel and the black space that surrounded them. The room is normal.

The hallucinations?

“What's up, Your Honor?” ask the soldier with concern.

“Did you see something?” clown asked as he stood up, his eyes not moving from looking at the normalcy before him.

“See something? What's something, Your Majesty?”

“No, forget it. Now leave me alone. I need to rest.”

“Of course, Your Majesty. I'll be watching here.”

Clown went in and closed the door. He stretched out his body which had been afflicted by the feeling of fatigue that multiplied. “That must have been a hallucination,” muttered the king slowly—and he did it over and over again until his eyes closed.

...—Emeralna Kingdom—...

Meyrin had resigned when she thought she would be a victim of torture Karen mel Matepola. However, here she is now, at the doorstep of the palace of Kanna's half-sister. He's been standing here since, for over an hour. Xavier had taken her away from that prison without a word. He had brought her here without a word. And he too has disappeared without a word. Meyrin did not understand what the traitor meant….

“Meyrin.”

Meyrin's eyes blinked at the sound. “Alice...”.

“Come in. Before Xavier forced me here, he said he would bring you here. He asked me to answer your question, .. if you have any questions. Comein. I still have to help Jenny who was forced to work hard.”

“What really happened?” meyrin asked as she stepped up to follow Alice.

“What happened? There aren't. Xavier just went crazy and got crazy. That'sthat's all. You don't have much to think about. Kanna's dream will come true. Uniting the empire under the banner of Vermillion Empire would not last for a long time, so Xavier decided to give Kanna a new empire. The United Empire of Islan Xavier was founded for Kanna, to fulfill her wishes. I didn't know Xavier really liked Kanna or just didn't want to bother.”

“But Xavier claims to be emperor! He also said he had killed Emperor Nueva!”

“Part of the plan,” replied Alice casually. “Xavier forces all kingdoms to submit. Although the majority of the rulers submitted voluntarily knowing that Xavier was El, but different from the higher-ups of the kingdom and their people. There will be rebellion. Sabotage will run rampant. Terrorist groups will emerge. When everyone in Islan learned Xavier had forced Islan to submit under his rule because he was too strong, people would fear him and consider him a tyrant. That's where Kanna's role is. He will be the hero who will free Islan from Xavier's control. Everyone loves heroes.”

“...That's not hard to believe. But..but Monica the devil.”

“Why does it seem that Monica is a demon?”

That simple question left Meyrin speechless. It looks like he was hit hard.

Alice shrugged her shoulders as she did not get an answer. “Which is more important, let's hope for the failure of the plan Xavier.”

“Huh? Don't you support him?”

“Support? I'm forced. That damn Xavier wants to live a life with all three women. I told you Xavier did all this for Kanna, but it's actually for the boy's selfishness. He wanted to live quietly with his three women, so he put all the responsibility into the hands of Kanna and the others. When we are all preoccupied with taking care of the vast Islan, he will be busy enjoying life with his women!”

“I'll help you pray,” Meyrin's response quickly.

“Yes. Let's pray for Xavier's failure. If he stays emperor, he won't have time to have fun. He will be miserable, and I will enjoy every moment of his suffering.”

“...You envy that Xavier didn't make you part of ‘his women’?”

Alice's steps stopped hearing the question, and Meyrin decided to move straight away.

“What did you say?”

“Nothing. I didn't say anything.”

“Kukira is too. Let's hurry. Jenny has trouble taking care of all the documents by herself.”

...* * *...

Two pairs of eyes of different colors face each other with the stars above. They were inside a magnificent, uncluttered room, on top of an ice cube that floated freely in space. Far enough away from the giant ball that protects life, far from the eye that can see, far from the ears that can eavesdrop. A place just for them.

“Xavier,” call the owner of those dark blue eyes, his right fingers move gently over the chest of the owner of the name.

“Hm?”

“I want you to promise me one thing.”

Hearing that serious sentence, Xavier's red eyes turned to the owner of the exotic blue eyes. The same thing the woman did, made the two eyes look at each other. If the stars become envious because they no longer feel charming, both do not care.

“If I end up bringing destruction to this universe, you must do everything you can to kill me. There was a dark voice inside my head, I was afraid it was only a matter of time until I became a monster back.”

“Heh, if you were a monster, I would be the king of monsters. You will have no choice but to submit to me.”

“You're crazy.”

“If I'm not crazy, I can't possibly accept your madness.”

“You're stupid.” Kanna's face was flat, but soon she smiled faintly and stuck her forehead on the young man's forehead. “But because you're stupid I don't want to until you get away from me.”

“Newly this time I'm happy to be fooled.”

“Hahaha, you are really stupid.”
