Against the World II: Transgression

Against the World II: Transgression
Chapter 40: Predestine Future, Part 5

Ten years passed quickly.

It was as if time had not passed. And as Vermyna said in the beginning, Xavier did not age at all. It is very hard to believe he has spent ten years here, moreover there is no such thing as day and night. Every day is constant. However, this is not an illusion. Ten years have indeed passed.

The most obvious proof of the passing of ten years that Vermyna said was the presence of a third figure in the company of the two of them.

The male. Five years old. Her hair was short violet, her eyes blood red with vertical black pupils. Both of his ears are slightly pointed up and down. Bangir's nose. Her skin was the same color as Xavier's, but her face was eleven twelve with Vermyna's. He's in a deep slumber.

Incell Hellvarossa, Xavier's first born son. And even though it had been five years, Xavier still could not believe what had happened. He was still unable to accept that this was real, but he could not deny it. And if it wasn't for Xavier begging Vermyna to the point of prostrating everything, Incell would have had at least one sister.

“I'll stop time here,” Vermyna said as she pulled the blanket over Incell. Then the woman— who was like the goddess of death in Xavier— turned around and approached the commander. “Let's go, let's finish the business outside so that we can get back here as soon as possible.”

“...You still have not removed the seal that reined mana-ku,” said Xavier—keningnya frowning great. For ten years he could do nothing. As he said, he really “punish” Xavier— physically and mentally.

“Can a husband look at his wife like that?” Vermyna smiled seductively, her body floating up to the position of her head slightly higher than Xavier. His right hand held and slightly raised the commander's chin. “While I have spent ten years, I am still not satisfied. I want to feel you again and again, always and forever. I thought I was falling too deep into the abyss of your love.”

Whether it had been a few hundred thousand, or even a million, Vermyna again stained Xavier's lips gently. And as before, that gentleness slowly turned aggressive. But this time not to dominate deep inside, Vermyna stopped when their two tongues met.

The ruler of the vampires kept his face away from Xavier's face, his expression heavy, his eyes began to water a little. “Is it too impossible for me to occupy space in your heart?” the same question Vermyna sent out every time she finished imposing her will on the commander.

So far, Xavier has always refused to answer that question. Vermyna would then kiss his forehead and rest his head on the chest of the commander's field. Every time like that. But only this time Vermyna let out her tears. And considering all the things that the woman had told him, part of Xavier was hurt to see those tears.

“Haaa..”.

For the first time since Vermyna had claimed herself, Xavier sighed. It's his mother's fault he's so mushy like this. Xavier is really not strong when it comes to dealing with things like this.

“The unsuitable tears flowed on this cheek,” said Xavier gently, both of his hands moving wiping the water that littered Vermyna's smooth cheeks. “I don't want to see you cry.”

And for the first time as well, Xavier pulled Vermyna into his arms.

“I would be lying if I said I didn't love you, but I can't say I love you either.” Xavier bluntly stroked the queen's beautiful hair gently. “You certainly understand the reason. I still haven't accepted the death of Nizivia you caused. And I'm also upset about what you did to me, but at the same time I lied about saying I didn't enjoy it.”

“Once, yes.”

“...If I get my memory back, I will definitely be happy to say I love you—no matter if you have killed Nizivia. That's why I refuse to absorb it. I'm also not ready to know about my relationship with Edenia. Therefore..can we talk about this next time? Can you defeat Fie Axellibra and return safely here?”

...* * * * * * * * * * * *...

Two minutes two seconds. It was the length of time that Fie had passed until finally the world's first anomalous figure came out of his hiding dimension. He went out on his own; there was no Xavier even after the portal closed.

Fie was about to open her mouth in protest and voice annoyance, but her speech was held back when she realized the difference that was seen in Vermyna. No, not a different outfit, let alone a physical one. What was different was the aura that his body was emitting, as well as the glare of the eyes that were looking. More than that, Vermyna looked more alluring than ever.

“I have prepared one broad dimension to settle the affairs between us,” Vermyna said while creating a large dimensional portal to the right of Fie—in between the two of them. “Take it easy. I did not prepare for any traps or fraud. I only focus on thickening the dimensional wall so that it will not be destroyed by our self-fight.”

“...Where is Xavier?” ask Fie at the end.

“There is no point in questioning his presence. From the beginning you did not have the intention to kill himself, did you?”

…fie can't deny that question. He can't make excuses. If he had any intentions, Xavier had been killed from the start. Fie just wanted to test his strength. What's more, Xavier is the most important “pion” for Edenia. All his frustration at the savage creature he could vent on Xavier.

“It looks like so. Alright.” Fie throws down the origin of his spear that Xavier broke and starts approaching the portal. “Let's finish this quickly. I still need to clean up the mess caused by Genea's incompetence after this.”

Upon entering the portal, Fie instantly found himself on a flat land surrounded by a total of eight mountains in eight different directions. From where he stood, he could not say how wide “arena” that Vermyna had prepared. What was clear, the ground where he stood was floating in the empty space. Fie could see another “arena” hovering far up there, and the number was quite a lot.

“Until one of us is killed, none of us can get out. There's nothing we can do to get out, unless you can destroy this dimension from the outside while inside.”

Fie immediately turned around after listening to the explanation; vermyna Hellvarossa stood up (with both hands and body clad in blackish purple energy) at a distance of twenty meters from her.

“What do you say can be trusted?” fie asked flatly, where thick began to envelop his body like fire.

“It's up to you.”

“Let's be so.”

That ended the conversation between the two women. Explosions of energy shot out simultaneously from both of their bodies, making the two different colored energies hit each other violently. The ground where they stood began to tremble and crack violently, and in the next second “arena” which housed eight mountains was shattered into pieces due to the intensity of the energy explosion that increased significantly.

“I start, VERMYNA!”

“Please, FIE!”

Simultaneously, the two anomalies were already in front of each other with fists meeting each other. The air shock caused by the meeting of the two hands destroyed all the debris on their right and left.

And the fight began.

...* * *...

Once out of the portal, Xavier is greeted by a forest that extends as far as the eye can see. Right, left, front, and even back is a forest. As Vermyna said, he actually took out Xavier in the middle of the Wet Swamp Forest. And as he said, the highest peak of the American Mountains is no longer the same. The old peak had been cut into five parts.

“Nueva el Vermillion is above that flat peak. If you don't want her to get stronger again, now is the right time to overcome her.”

That was what Vermyna said, and that was where Xavier darted away.
