IN NORTH Carolina, within a two hundred-meter arena filled with pools of poison here and there, the fight between Dermyus, Hekiel, and Alforalis against the Fifth Saint Bedivere still continues. However, unlike before, there were no more teddy bears helping the saint. Bedivere, with a body filled with black streaks like veins, faced his three opponents alone.
In fact, it's three to one, but Bedi's the one who has the upper hand. Hekiel's left hand was blackened and could no longer be used. Dermyus' left cheek blackened and he had lost his sword – Bedivere had smashed the sword down to the hilt as well. Alforalis has not been hit by Bedivere's attack, but it's only a matter of time until it happens.
The fight has been going on for a long time. However, it was not because the three of them could compensate for the saint's strength. All three were just trying not to attack Bedivere up close. Both Dermyus, Hekiel, and Alforalis were trying to get away from the saint. That's how dangerous Bedivere is. Being nearby was enough to make their bodies stop functioning.
If it must be said clearly, at this point they just try hard to avoid the saint while stalling until someone destroys the arena from the outside.
There was nothing they could do to attack Bedivere. Spell magic will be absorbed. If they ignored the poisonous air surrounding the saint and physically attacked, their hands and feet would explode. Now Bedivere has an explosive effect on his body. He seemed to have absorbed all the strength of the bear earlier into his body. Saint Bedivere had already become extremely strong until the fight had become one-sided only.
Of course Dermyus could turn into lightning and scorch the saint up close. That way he won't feel the effects of the toxic air that surrounds Bedivere. However, again, Bedivere can absorb the spell. If he was reckless to attack in the form of lightning, his history would instantly be finished when the saint absorbed it.
Dermyus snorted as his lightning strike was reabsorbed, but he had already released a thin black lightning laser concentrating high right to the back of Bedivere's head. Really, how could he cope with his attacks when his attention was distracted by Alforalis? Does he have any amazing sensory magic? Or is his instinct too sharp?
“You think Elizabeth will come?” hekiel asked who had been to Dermyus' left while thrusting two adamantite swords.
Dermyus quickly took the two swords. “Come,” replied Dermyus without taking his eyes off the saint. “I asked him to stay in Carolina; we can only hope he comes.”
Reinhart, moreover, with her one butchered hand, did not have enough offensive power to destroy the arena from the outside. Their only hope is Elizabeth. Perhaps he had made a mistake in having his deputy stay in the city. Probably not either. If Elizabeth had been with him from the beginning, she would have been stuck here with them by now. So, that decision cannot be considered as seb—
“Dermyus!”
The call made Dermyus flinch. His eyes widened seeing Bedivere already darting towards him. He reflexively turned his body into lightning then darted to the other side of the arena, making both adamantite swords fall to the floor. Dermyus returned to his normal form while inwardly condemning himself. He was slightly off guard, and that slight carelessness almost made him lose his life. He owed Hekiel his debt.
“It's sickening,” said Bedivere with sharp eyes and a wrathful face. “Uncle-uncle now like a rat in front of a cat. Got rats are just trying to escape from a cat that is ready to pounce.”
Dermyus did not react to Bedivere's words. So did Alforalis and Hekiel. The three remained silent in place without saying anything, but their bodies were ready to move at any moment.
“Uncle-uncle is afraid of being bitten and pounced like a cat treats a rat?”
“Not to worry,” continued Bedivere while stepping forward. “Dame Bedivere won't bite viciously. Dame Bedivere will bite mischievously. You will not scream out of pain; uncles will scream out of pleasure. You're gonna get hooked. So, no need to run from Dame Bedivere. Let's have fun.”
One thing that has not changed is the mental pain that the saint experienced – Dermyus does not understand how women who are mentally disturbed like Bedivere can be lifted into a saint.
“Observing a beautiful girl like Dame Bedivere is a real form of evil.” The saint's facial sharpener looked hardened – Dermyus spontaneously misgivings. “Now Dame Bedivere really does not want to be kind anymore. Dame Bedivere will crush your uncles until uncles scream pleasure.”
Bedivere immediately came forward after saying what needed to be said. Dermyus spontaneously melted part of his body into lightning. However, suddenly Bedivere maneuvered west. Hekiel had run in a circle to the south. But Bedivere did not stop. His two hands fused together, and the thorny and poisonous roots just came out in large numbers.
Alforalis and Dermyus were forced to face the saint's thorny roots, allowing the woman concerned to focus on Hekiel. Hekiel understood he was in danger; the thorny roots were numerous, almost filling three quarters of the arena. However, the commander still ran even though he had to zigzag. Adamantite walls he created behind him to slow down the opponent, even if only slightly.
To Hekiel, Bedivere made one of the walls an impetus for him to dart forward. He was already a dozen meters in front of Hekiel with an arrogant grin. “You're the first, Uncle. Blame your parents because you're uglier than the other two uncles.”
The mockery made Hekiel spontaneously stop; he did not turn. The crossroads meet the temple. He's really upset right now. His skin had become as maroon as adamantite. The breath he drew deeply, then immediately attacked in a state of holding his breath. Along with the incision, adamantite spears appeared on his right and left and then shot like bullets towards Bedivere.
Bedivere tilted his body avoiding one of the spears, then his hand pulled the spear to then use it to block the other spears. At the same time, Bedivere gave rise to thousands of prickly roots from around him. All the roots attacked Hekiel like living whips.
Hekiel was in an attacking position. He had to stop and jump back and avoid the root attack. However, the number of roots was too much. They not only came out from the front, right, and left, but also from behind. No doubt his back was hit twice before the adamantite wall appeared and protected him.
Again for Hekiel, Bedivere was already right in front of him as his focus shifted to the pain in the back. Hekiel could only look at horror. With a whimper jumawa the saint landed a raw bogem on the face of the commander. Hekiel bounced so strongly that it hit one of the roof support pillars. His face was hot, Hekiel felt an explosion would swallow his head.
“HEKIEL!”
Dermyus could only shout as the explosion engulfed the face of Hekiel von Vanguarta. Meanwhile, Alforalis did not care – he was too preoccupied with thorny roots to look there—the roots were endless.
