Transcendental CREATURES. That was the main research that Shiva Rashta did. It was a creature that had freed itself from the confines of destiny. Not Phoenix for example. Not the Thevetat. The Archangel Luciel was not a transcendental being either. According to Shiva, Fie Axellibra is the only creature born as a transcendental being in this world. No other creature is born a transcendental being.

Vermyna Hellvarossa, formerly Vermyna Hermythys, was the first to successfully transmend.

According to Shiva too, Neix—the leader of the Eternity— Illegal Magic Union has indirectly tried to become a transcendental being as well. However, Neix did not understand the transcendental and god difference. The Eternity leader was trying to become a god by creating a container of souls that one of the ingredients was the blood of all the races that existed on the surface of the world. Then the container filled the soul to taste, then he absorbed into his body to become the core of existence.

However, Shiva asserts that there is no other way to become a god other than by seizing the Throne of Heaven from Edenia's hands. Edenia became a god not because she was unusually strong, but because of the Throne of Heaven. If Edenia lost the Throne of Heaven, Shiva theorized that the god would have faith sensed to be a transcendental being.

Even so, not completely Neix failed. Although he had not managed to reach the transcendental level, but there was no denying that he was able to evolve. Neix did not include demon blood and angel blood in the manufacture of soul containers. Although Shiva's belief was only thirty percent, he theorized that Neix might be able to transend if he added blood to both races.

In addition to the conventional way that Neix practiced, Shiva had two other theories about how one could transmend until the confines of fate could no longer hold him back. The first theory: in order to transend, one had to collect ten Supreme Magic or six Six Crests of Hope. While the second theory is what is in the process of Shiva's experiment.

Creating an artificial body for his soul to inhabit. Creating a strong body so it won't evolve.

This method is also fairly conventional, somewhat similar to the way Neix did. The difference is, Shiva does not cross paths to collect blood from various races. Nor did he gather the souls of others as a source of energy. Shiva traps criminals on the lower floors, and from them he gathers their life energy as a source of energy that will be needed.

Shiva said the way was similar to what Vermyna Hermythys did, but he could not confirm the truth. Vermyna Hermythys had first obtained Supreme Magic and one of the six Crest of Hope.

The treated body was already made ‒ Shiva blatantly confessed to him that the body was made with the help of the Spirit King Sakhra. Even the life energy he gathered was already amazing. Looking at it was as if looking at the moon being shrunken to the intensity of the light being raised.

The problem is the process of unification between the life energy sphere, the strengthened body, and Shiva's own soul.

For that reason Shiva needed himself, for that reason why Artemys was arranged to be in this secret building. At the very least, it was the recognition of the green-haired man that— Artemys had to admit was above average-faced than those who were beautiful. In comparison, the structure of its face is a perfect clash between Xavier and Reinhart. 10 out of 10.

Unfortunately, Artemys has no interest in an older man (even if it's only a year); he won't be interested in Shiva even if he never meets Xavier.

“I don't know the exact reason you believe I can help you, but personally I think Kanna can help you more than I.” Artemys with an emotionless face looked intensely at the emperor's dark green iris sitting on the other side of the small table separating them. “Kanna mastered [Rune Magic] more than anyone in this era.”

If Artemys was surprised, he did not show it at all.

“Then, say, will my son be born healthy? Is he a man, or a woman? How many of my children and Xavier? Who died first, me or Xavier?”

Artemys asks what he asks not because he wants to know the answer; he does not like to know what will happen, he wants a surprise. That question he asked to see the change in expression on Shiva's face. If he shows a little unpreparedness in accepting the series of questions, it means his words are a lie. He learned of his preparations in escaping because he sent someone to spy on him.

“I will answer all your questions about the future after you do what I ask,” Shiva response smoothly and expression unchanged. “However, in one of the other possibilities, you answered you were not interested in knowing the future. This is what I offer you: I guarantee you, Xavier, and your servant will live uninterrupted after I snatch the Throne of Heaven from Edenia's hands. I can make you all immortal if you want, and that goes for your descendants as well.”

…Artemys understands, Shiva's ability to see the future is not a boast. He also understood that it was not just [Clairvoyance Magic]. Whatever the magic, it was like a strand of fate line was revealed clearly in Shiva's eyes. He looked at the future as if he were already in the future. If there was a proper conclusion to his abilities, it must have been Supreme Magic or Six Crests of Hope.

“...I understand,” said Artemys after a long period of silence. He took a sip of the tea that had been served for a moment, before then returning his focus to the emperor. “Then deliver me to the body you have prepared. I just created a formula to bring together all three different components perfectly after seeing the body.”

Shiva showed off a faint smile on his lips. “I told you I can see the future; you can't hide any intentions from me. Whichever future I want to see, the veil of destiny will open up to let my eyes see it. There's nothing you can do to fool me, Artemys el Vermillion.” Then Shiva's expression became serious. “Your choice is two: help me voluntarily, or help me by force. I don't want you to choose the second option.”

“You may try to escape,” continued Shiva without giving Artemys a chance to respond, “but in less than a minute you will be brought back here. I am not a cruel man, so do not make me take cruel actions. Give me your helping hand, and I'll owe you.”

Shiva stood up. “I'll come back later in the afternoon, and make sure by then you've got the answer we both want.” The emperor gave a friendly smile, before then turning around and walking away.

“You still haven't answered my question, why not try to get Kanna to do that?”

The question came out of Artemys mouth just a step before Shiva walked out of the doorway.

Shiva paused for a moment. “...It will only end with a life and death duel,” his response without turning around, “dan Kanna. He...your brother radiates the same bit of energy as Edenia—maybe Edenia watches directly every second of your sister's life. Right now I can't search directly for Edenia.”

And Shiva went straight after that, leaving Artemys alone with the faithful Jenny standing by his side.

#In this story, transcendence is the process of becoming a more living being, while immanence means the process of becoming a lower dimensional being.
