Kanna this time did not attack in a hurry.
He only realized it: unlike before, he did not feel excessive fatigue when using the three Rune Magic Manifestation formulas. Kurtalaegon seemed to also strengthen his body's endurance. His collision with the wind wave was balanced for a second, before then Kanna penetrated easily.
Simultaneously, hundreds of light spears manifested on the right and left of Kanna. Using the power of the seraphim makes Kanna have free access to [Holy Magic] and [Light Magic]— most likely it's Seraphim Raphael's magic because he most often uses Parallel Mind of Raphael. Imitating what Alice had shown him had become very easy. And more than that, the magic is stronger.
Unfortunately, Vermyna dodged all of Kanna's attacks easily. It's like the vampire was playing games. Even when the Parallel Mind of Raphael cast a spell from his blind spot, Vermyna easily dodged. None of Kanna's attacks could land. Vermyna's palm strike dodged even before the punch had shot out.
“Overload Brightness!” Kanna emitted a brightly lit light trying to blind Vermyna's gaze for a moment, at the same time she unleashed all the spells that Kurtalaegon had absorbed while fighting Nueva.
However, something he did not expect happened. All the light he made disappeared was replaced by darkness; all the spells were melted and swallowed up in that dark black dome space. The black dome then tried to self-exert, but suddenly the dome shed itself.
“Hm, it seems like I still can't use One Space ‒ Infinity.” Vermyna said to herself with an amused expression, and a moment later—so suddenly—stropped his right palm forward. “Hell Lightning.”
Deep dark red lightning waves—with a dark black aura enveloping him—quickly darted from the front of Vermyna's palm. The lightning was completely abnormal, its level was almost equivalent to black lightning—Kanna could say clearly. Moreover, his aura was slightly similar to the aura of Azrael's power. Can it have the same effect as the strength of the seraphim?
Kanna was not interested in testing it herself, her palms widened trying to absorb the lightning. At least, that's what should have happened. However, Vermyna's Perfect Clone attack made the barrier decays like melted butter. Concentrated Engulfing Silence, Kanna's shock bath came too late. His body had already bounced strongly to tens of meters and crashed into the arena floor. He was dragged a few feet before finally stopping.
“Even the attack could not damage Kurtalaegon.” Vermyna and her Refined Replica landed a few meters in front of Kanna. “What does that mean that you will not be harmed while using Kurtalaegon's ability? Now I'm a little upset with Hernandez.”
Kanna herself was surprised. Let alone the wound, the pain he did not receive. The only reason why he got thrown was the energy that Vermyna's Perfect Clone released—more the position of his body slightly leaning forward. If his leg is stuck properly and he is blocked, it is likely that he will not be thrown. His physical strength in this mode was not weaker than his opponent.
