Xavier was nearly killed by respiratory failure. If Nueva had activated that power any longer, he might not have been helped. He had to be careful not to get caught in that spell. But how? How could he avoid the effects that happened almost instantly?
It feels impossible other than to escape from here, the inner commander while standing—and of course that is not an option at all.
Xavier didn't find a gap to avoid the spell's effect. However, from what he can conclude in this short time, Nueva seems to have the same obstacles as him. The reversal of blood flow made Nueva's blood vessels swell before she fell due to a troubled heart and disrupted oxygen supply. That made Xavier switch attacks. When his gaze returned to normal, Xavier found that his body had been pierced by seven ice spears. Before the pain reached her brain, Nueva's front leg had hit her chin. It bounced upwards. And at the same time, thousands of wind spears had been in the air.

In an instant Xavier had already swapped places with Nueva. However, to his surprise, the seven spears lodged on Xavier's body still remained on his body. He has made sure not to participate in carrying the seven ice spears with him ‒ Xavier intends to make it as a weapon to eat master. However, reality was opposite to his intentions.
Nueva landed with the sound of a dozen meters in front of him. The emperor was covered in scratches here and there; he was unable to dodge his own attacks perfectly. But that's just that. Nueva did not receive any injuries that meant— in addition to the effect of his [Reverse Law] earlier which made the face of the emperor serious.
Xavier whipped out the ice spears manually and threw them originally, then healed himself with [Reverse Law]— of course after eliminating the freezing effect with [Magic Container].
Xavier had an assumption as to why he could not get rid of those ice spears with [Reverse Law]. Nueva made water spears with water magic then froze them with [Eternal Zero], making them ice spears. No other explanation.
“You reversed the direction of my blood flow,” said Nueva while creating two water spears in both hands—which quickly froze to emit a sharp cold. “I was forced to freeze my own blood to eliminate that effect. Otherwise, my heart won't survive. [Reverse Law] is indeed troublesome. What can I do, I will be serious.”
“I'm serious doesn't mean I can't while talking.” Nueva was already in front of Xavier in an instant. “I mean seriously that you will receive more wounds than ever.”
The emperor quickly. Xavier could have made his body untouchable, but both of Nueva's spears were supported by [Eternal Zero]. It did not rule out the possibility that the two spears would still be able to injure him. Therefore, Xavier used both of his swords to block the emperor's ice spear. Both of his swords seemed to be shrinking somewhat, but it quickly returned to normal as he increased the mana supply.
“I heard you were quite good at playing the sword. You don't mind if I test the truth on that issue, do you?”
Xavier struck both of Nueva's ice spears in response, prompting the emperor to be pushed. He then began to attack. Xavier cut the distance between them quickly. Both of his dimensional swords swung sharply in both different directions. Nueva stuck one of the swords before him, blocking both swords at once. And at the same time, another spear swung horizontally.
Xavier dodged quickly. One of his swords he plugged on the ground and then threw a sideways kick with two legs at the emperor. However, before Xavier's legs hit the left side of Nueva's body, the emperor unleashed the Great Wind Explosion spell.
Xavier had sensory magic, so he could sense which turbulence occurred just before the spell was released. Therefore, before a strong wind wave hit him, Xavier had already used Space Reversal on the emperor himself. Nueva's body was blown away by her own spell.
Xavier instantly created a dozen dimensional swords after Nueva had bounced, and the eleven swords he had attached to the emperor.
But then, the world froze again. And once things got back to normal, Xavier's body had been blown away by a Nueva kick that hit the left side of his head. And at the same time, hundreds of ice spears also shot up after his body that crashed.
The commander reflexes using Space Reversal. However, even though he had already swapped places with Nueva, his back had been pierced by three ice spears. It seems that Nueva had anticipated Xavier's actions. Not only had he prepared the three spears that stuck into his back, the emperor had also prepared an ice barrier to protect him from the hundreds of ice spears.
Xavier absorbed the three ice spears with [Magic Container]. He then threw the two dimensional swords at Nueva and put the palms together. The typical dark purple magic circle [Space Magic] appeared in massive sizes on Xavier's right and left. However, before the two spells could get activated, both magic circles froze and shattered into pieces.
Before Xavier could take action, the world froze again. And when the situation returned to normal, Xavier's body had sunk dozens of meters into a previously absent mountain crater. Dozens of spears stuck here and there, dozens of them lodged in the body of the commander. And if it wasn't for [Magic Container], Xavier would have died with the internal organs frozen solid.
“Haa…. I don't know how you can absorb the effects of [Eternal Zero]. And to be honest, that ability is a major barrier for me to finish you off. There seems to be no other option.”
