Against the World II: Transgression
Chapter 15: Duo Monster, Part 2

Xavier flicked his blue fire sword, looking flat at the soldiers who had stepped back step by step.

From the original number of those who reached five hundreds, three per five had already melted into ashes. The loss of more than half of the members made the rest of the members doubtful and fearful; seeing death scattering before them made the guts of the great soldiers shrink. It was no wonder they tried to retreat step by step.

“Your alertness in defending is bad enough, I give you 1 out of 5 points. However, strangely you guys still remain better than the Imperial Army.” Xavier flicked his shoulders, displaying an expression of inexhaustibility. “Now, should we continue? You guys have to judge me in terms of mental strength?”

“Mo-Monster!” shouted one of the young-looking soldiers—maybe he was a member of the fledgling Knight Templar. Xavier is still younger than him.

“How can you kill everyone and act as if their lives are meaningless?!”

Xavier's eyes sharpened looking at the man. “Monster said?” ask her in a cold tone. “Hm, maybe it's true in your eyes. However, can you say the same to one of your Saints as they slaughtered enemies mercilessly?”

“Of course not,” continued Xavier without waiting for a reply. “In your eyes, that Saint is a hero. However, what if we ask the victim of his or her carelessness? The answer is only one: monster.”

Xavier stepped forward, walking towards the remaining soldiers. The soldiers retreated. One step that Xavier took forward, one step they took backwards.

“Monster..the definition of it is relative.” Xavier continued without caring about his audience. “For you I am a monster, but for the inhabitants of Favilifna I am a hero. So too with the imperial population. You hate me, they praise me. Don't you guys understand such a simple thing?”

Xavier shook his head slowly, feeling futile talking to those who viewed themselves as the only ones who were right. “But whatever, it doesn't matter whether you understand that or not. As I said before, you only have yourself to blame. Now, prepare yourself.”

Xavier's move is up in exponential tempo. His two swords of fire instantly extended up to four times; xavier intended to finish off many warriors in a single swing of the sword. However, Xavier suddenly stopped his pace, a white laser precisely aimed at the ground a step ahead of him—and it was followed by another barrage of lasers, which made Xavier retreat quickly.

“You're too big a head, Twelfth Commander Xavier von Hernandez.” Rossia Himera landed elegantly in the presence of the two hundreds of soldiers who had suddenly regained confidence. “Should I teach you what humility is, so that your haughty, ignorant brain can understand?”

“Heh, I doubt you understand what you're saying.” Xavier turned his blue fire sword into black flames. “You look like a human who never understood that phrase.”

“Cih, you idiot! But, I'll ignore what you've done.” Rossia circulated her eyes looking at the remnants of the blue flames that had annihilated hundreds of her soldiers. “It is completely unacceptable that they just die, but the Holy Kingdom has no interest in finding out because of the Holy Kingdom. Go awayl. Leave Favilifna Kingdom. You're just on your own. Facing me and 14 thousand more soldiers is suicide.”

“What if this was the case,” Xavier's response with one black fire sword pointed forward. “Leave the territory of Favilifna Kingdom at this time as well. That way, we will forget the unforgivable actions you have done. Of course, you must pay compensation as well as write an official apology letter. If not, too bad you guys will end up here.”

“There are two things that are wrong in your words,” said Xavier, do not bother with the white magic circle created at the end of the Rossia wand. “First, you taught me defeat is nothing more than delusion. And secondly, your remaining soldiers will not come out of your camp area.”

Rossia's forehead frowned, but she did not need to open her mouth to find out what Xavier meant by the second point. The humming sound that rang out behind him was enough to give an answer. As he glanced back, Rossia's eyes rounded wide to see the figure of the First Commander hovering above the center of the encampment. Rossia felt the gravity wall had stood shut in the campground, not allowing anyone to enter and exit.

“So apparently. I get it now. Your confidence is due to the existence of Lilithia von Sylphisky. Heh, how useless.” Anger was burning in Rossia's face. “I'll destroy you and I'll destroy that woman!” he exclaimed, releasing a barrage of white lasers from his magic circle.

Xavier did not trouble himself replying to the words of the woman who viewed herself as the most superior. He has spoken enough. Xavier did not try to avoid it. The white laser that [Holy Magic] produced it he let pass through his body as if he had become a hologram.

...* * *...

Lilithia looked uninterestedly at the insects that were now setting their sights on her beautiful figure.

Various expressions clearly colored the faces, and none of them seemed to be a single relief or tranquility. But that's how it should be. Insects like them must understand the obvious difference between themselves and themselves.

“Who told you to stand with your head raised like that?” Lilithia said in a cold flat voice like an ice-— blade her eyes looked down on them, as if they were disgusting filth. “Kneel, insect!”

Gravity instantly struck them with a force that was many times over, and as many as a dozen thousand soldiers fell to their knees—they were unable to resist the gravity that suddenly suppressed the weight.

“You still dare to look up?” Lilithia lowered her body slowly. “Put your heads down, insects hina.”

The gravity that befell them grew, and without a fight meant that the entire army was shot helplessly on the ground.

As Lilithia's two tiny legs landed on the ground, not a single head looked up.

“Destroying your bodies all at once to the size of dust is not at all in control; I can do it in the blink of an eye. However, I want to test how long I can finish you off one by one before my patience runs out. So, you insects far from me, be patient in waiting for your useless self-destruction.”

Lilithia then dropped a glance at her first victim. “Let the others hear your screams that pollute the air,” he said mercilessly, and instantly a deafening scream filled the silence of the air along with the bone cracks and the sound of organ shattering heard.
