Against the World II: Transgression
Chapter 12: Loyalty, Part 5

If before his actions had made the enemy frown, now Crow frowned looking at Neix who stood as if without burden. The creature is now extraordinarily powerful, Crow acknowledged that. In fact, even though he's fighting desperately now, Crow knows he won't. In addition to his mana capacity that made his forehead constrict, Neix's speed and self-control were in different levels.

“You are the last collision,” said Neix while creating a solid clone. “I don't care what exactly you want to do by hiding your true power to me. My clone will finish you off, while I myself will start the necessary ritual.”

Crow had no chance to respond to Neix's words, his clone was already in the presence of the vampire with his right hand (which had elongated to form a sword) piercing forward.

Crow did not try to block the sword with both hands. It's true that Marcus' sword can't penetrate his skin. However, it was purely because Marcus' sword was a bit blunt. Marcus is a swordsman who focuses his game on strength, in contrast to the average swordsman who focuses on technique. Therefore, Crow did not hesitate to block Marcus's sword. However, Neix is different. If he tried, his hand would have been pierced.

Therefore Crow immediately jumped back while removing the black chains. Although it was only a clone, he knew it was not an ordinary clone. Hence, Crow instantly used his strongest fighting style. In total there were ten black magic circles on his left right, and all of those chains struck the Neix clone sharply.

...—...

Without even paying the slightest attention to her clone facing Crow, Neix slashed her left wrist and began to form a magic circle that Vermyna had once told her. It was a magic circle that Neix had already memorized inside out. Because he used his blood, the magic circle he made was only one meter in diameter. Neix as the creator of the circle then stands right in the middle of the circle.

Neix took out a small vial containing Vermyna's blood, then poured the blood right between his legs. Then Neit fused his palms together, and instantly the magic circle made with the blood medium shimmered brightly.

Neix's lips curved into a grin; he felt all of the slain souls darting to where he stood. The magic circle he made from blood slowly grew as the soul absorbed. And when all the souls that gathered in this forbidden land were absorbed (minus Crow who was still fighting with his clone), the blood red magic circle was already a hundred meters in diameter.

“Open up,” Neix said as he increased his mana production, and instantly the space before him seemed to be cut vertically: Neix could see a dark crack emitting dark air in the torn space.

Slowly but surely, the slashed space widened and revealed large black chains that shackled the two handles of the gate. Neix could not see exactly how big the gate was; the torn space expanded very slowly. Clearly, he knew the gate before him was huge from the handle alone.

Neix frowned, then his eyes turned to look at his clone: he still could not finish off Crow.

“Cih, let's just say you're in luck, Crow.” With that, Neix sacrificed his clone to speed up the dilation of the dimensional wobble that gave rise to the gates of hell.

...—...

Crow did not say anything when suddenly his clone Neix disappeared in a scattering of mana, but his gaze quickly focused on the clone's owner, the clone's, then his eyes sharpened looking at the gate that was emitting a gripping air—right on the giant black chain that shackled the gate.

“...So, it's the original form [Hellish Chain]...”.

Crow shook his head slowly. He was interested in approaching and touching her, but at this moment his role was done. Neix had already done the ritual Vermyna had told her to do. Now it's the legend of Blacksmith who solved it all. If he was reckless to remain here, Sataniciela would have made herself the target of the temper tantrum Vermyna had said.

“This is our farewell, Neix, and I think I can consider you a friend. The reason is, your loyalty to Miss Vermyna surpasses all rationality; you don't even ask for details of the rituals you perform.”

With that, Crow disappeared in a blackish-red flash, leaving the Eternity leader alone.

...—...

Neix's laughter grew even more so as the giant chains began to move and release their shackles. However, the laughter quickly stopped as the chain stopped moving as half the shackles were successfully removed. Confusion began to engulf Neix. What's wrong? As soon as the question in Neix's head sounded.

...—Edenia’s Cave—...

Even though he was just a memory whose existence maintained mana and [Rune Magic], Hernandez could feel the dark air that the gates of hell gave him. There is no doubt that Lucifer and Fie Axellibra have realized that. Same with Vermyna. It will be interesting to see how the situation of Islan after this. Unfortunately, Hernandez's time is over. Unless Kanna does what she asks her to do, she will never know what will happen.

Is correct. Hernandez wants to live again with Retsu, living a life that the world does not allow them to live. However, deep inside him, Hernandez knows Retsu doesn't want that. Retsu does not want his life to repeat itself; their time is over, there is no need for regrets. They can be together in the realm of death.

What am I thinking about right now in the realm of death?

Hernandez's memory let himself laugh a little. If in the realm of death he did meet Retsu, of course it is clear that he does not want to be disturbed. However, if that did not happen, he would definitely want to come back to life. He wants to meet Retsu again.

“...I don't know,” said Hernandez, whose body part began to fade. “And therefore,” he added while bringing together both palms, “ leave everything to you, Kanna. I will trust your decision, just as I am sure the owner of this memory will trust you. And, I hope your life doesn't end like mine. ...Grand Summoning: Sataniciela.”

...—Together Neix—...

Neix who was still overwhelmed with confusion suddenly gasped as he felt his body stiffen, he could not control. It quickly turned into panic as the cells in his body bulged— making his body look like it was filled with air everywhere.

Simultaneously, those black chains were again moving at a speed that was several times faster than before. No, the chains did not open the shackles, but re-shackled the gates of hell. And quickly the dimensional space that revealed the gates of hell closed until it vanished without a trace.

Neix couldn't make sense of what was happening. The panic that struck him changed in fear. His control over his body completely disappeared. He can't even talk anymore. His form can no longer be recognized. And before he knew it, Neix had found himself in the dark. Then the darkness disappeared, until Neix completely vanished from the realm of existence.

Neix's entire body had transformed into a pitch-black sphere one meter in diameter. The ball floated silently for several tens of seconds, before then shaking violently which then caused a crack.

And in an instant, the crack spread out and a moment later the black ball broke into pieces.

A one and a half meter tall violet haired woman was seen floating at the breaking point of the black sphere earlier. The parasites were very deceptive to the eye; the proportions of his body and face were perfect. Her skin is as white as milk. And the black dress of the canal with its red lace greatly perfected the woman's appearance.

Unfortunately, his vertically-pupiled gray eyes did not emit hospitality; only a deep void—like someone who had just woken up from his super-long slumber.

Sataniciela, the strongest demon and ruler of hell before Lucifer came and usurped his throne.
