Chapter 46: Perfect and Imperfect, part 4
Lucifer wasn't joking or just threatening; he actually made those words happen. The former archangel shrank this void by ten meters per second. That made the gravity that bombarded every cubic inch of Xavier's body increase tenfold every single second.
The internal organs until Xavier's blood vessels rupture from the inside due to such pressure. But due to the enormous pressure, blood was unable to escape Xavier's body. And even though his body was unceasingly burning mana to recuperate, the pain his body received was overwhelming.
He will die if this situation continues to be left. Xavier had no other choice but to use his flagship card. As he drained quite a lot of life energy into making Phoenix battered first, now he had to do the same. Moreover, his mana was diminishing rapidly; he would lose the chance of winning if he continued to hold back.
“Divine Art:—”
Life energy seemed to radiate out from Xavier's body. Like a fire burning hot iron balls, that was how life energy gnawed at Xavier's body.
“—Cloak of God.”
Instantly that life energy seeped back into Xavier's body. And immediately Xavier's body was wrapped in a white energy robe on which there was a black root pattern. The entire surface of his skin and hair was also coated in concentrated life energy.
The pain that Xavier's body received completely disappeared. No matter how much gravity gnaws at him, Xavier's body completely ignores gravity. Even if time was stopped, his body would also pay attention to him. This is the power that Edenia teaches. Nothing could really affect him other than life energy as well. And of course, the stronger users will win.
“I don't like what I see.” Lucifer did not hide his dislike. If the form is not in the form of concentrated black energy, it will certainly look great pain on the forehead. However, his voice did not fail in transmitting that dislike. “...Think that you can still be stronger...”.

Less than a millisecond later, Lucifer reflexively lifts his hand blocking Xavier's super punch.
Lucifer was at his highest level of strength, but the punch sent him crashing far away.
Twelve pairs of energy-shaped black wings appeared on his back, his flapping making Lucifer's pace come to a halt. Then he flapped his wings again and sped forward. Not one second was he in front of the opponent. Lucifer unleashed a punch of his full power. He was not willing to accept that this opponent could compensate for his strongest mode.
However, Lucifer's punch had hit nothing but void space; Xavier had first tilted his head avoiding the blow.
Lucifer—'s eyes were invisible— widened, but he quickly swung his arms with his fingers straight. If he can avoid a blow to the head then he will try to break his neck. However, once again, Lucifer's hand split open the void; xavier had first ducked before his hand reached the target.
Lucifer is not amused. As he snorted he increased the intensity of the attack. Both of his hands unleashed consecutive blows and from various directions. Both of his legs played as well. The knees are like that too. He moved all the parts of the body that could be used to attack Xavier.
Unfortunately, none of the attacks succeeded. Xavier was able to dodge the punch after punch that he launched. If he doesn't get away, Xavier blocks him with his feet or hands. Even when Lucifer attacks from behind can be avoided by the commander.
But that's not all that makes Lucifer growl with his teeth grinding.
What made Lucifer a little frustrated was the flat expression and calmness on his opponent's face. There was no other expression on Xavier's face; just flat and calm. The commander seemed not to take himself seriously. Lucifer's powers are meaningless before him. He didn't even try to strike back.
“Eternal Annihilation: Frozen Eraser!”
Lucifer unleashed a wave of dark energy in all directions. From a distance of zero and its nature in all directions, Xavier was hit by the energy wave. There was no room for him to dodge even if he was willing to dodge. Frozen Eraser was an unavoidable attack.
“What is your view, huh?!”
There's no response, and Lucifer doesn't care about it. He immediately focused all his strength on the right fist.
“Never look at a Lucifer with such a view!”
Along with the exclamation, Lucifer shot sharply ‒ all his energy and pride he put on his fist.
“You're strong.”
The two words came out of Xavier's mouth along with his left hand that caught Lucifer's full-strength fist. The shock energy released was so great, but Xavier was only pushed down by less than a meter.
Lucifer dispelled his shock and spontaneously withdrew his hand. However, Xavier's hand grip was too hard. Lucifer is unable to escape.
“But I'm stronger,” continued Xavier while removing his grip on Lucifer's fist. “And now replace me who attacked.”
“Do a—”
Xavier's fist first hit Lucifer's face before he could say a second word. The black energy covering his face was eroded by the blow, revealing the corner of Lucifer's lips that was spitting out blood. Though he was inside the [Infinity Domain], but the blood on his lips was completely real.
Lucifer did not have time to think about how he might get hurt; Xavier had already landed another blow on his chest. The black energy covering his chest was eroded, and Lucifer's mouth immediately spewed out blood. And it didn't stop at just one stroke; Xavier attacked Lucifer repeatedly.
Lucifer of course tried to turn the situation around, but he found no loophole. Xavier seemed to have anticipated what he would do. Wherever he moved, Xavier was already there. As soon as he deflected, Xavier's punch never missed. The former archangel becomes the commander's moons.
At this point, Lucifer has only two options: hold on and wait until where Xavier runs out, or use the last trick he has. And Lucifer doesn't want to keep on being the commander's boxer. The choice is very clear.
“Infinity Domain: Total Destruction!”
Lucifer soon finds himself back in the Amerlesia Mountains, which were devastated by their previous fight. He appeared in the air and fell down and was dragged several meters away. Lucifer spewed out some blood, before then he sat back down.
Less than two minutes later, Xavier appeared in the air where he had appeared. He crashed into the crater and rolled several times. Unlike Lucifer, Xavier's condition is bad. No more white robes and life energy enveloping him. His eyes were even half closed.
“Nobody should have survived the destruction of a universe,” said Lucifer as he stood up and approached the commander, “but you survived. You're incredibly strong, Commander Xavier. You got my confession.”
“However,” Lucifer stopped in front of the commander, his eyes looking sharply at the eyes of Xavier who was trying to see him. “I'm the one who won, and you're the one who lost.” A dark-black ice spear formed on the former angel's right hand. “So, you're going to die today. Got any last words?”
Despite asking, Lucifer did not wait for an answer. He lifted his spear and dropped it hard.
