Ch. 116 - Fire Salamander
Hearing Lan An's story of a grudge that he had actually buried deep back growing, Xin Fai tightened his fist with an eyeball glistening furiously.
"The Blood Devil... They always do it."
Along with his annoyed gaze, Xin Fai's eyeballs started to change color making them confused.
Huang Kun became worried as Xin Fai's eyes turned red and a thin smoke rose from his chest, he looked at Shen Xuemei who also had a worried face.
The two turned their eyes to the audience bench and found Li Yong also aware of this.
"Fai'er calm yourself down..." Huang Kun as much as possible calmed him down but Xin Fai did not listen.
"Little sister, what happened to you?" Lan An was also quite surprised as she felt the surrounding air gripping along with a deep red aura emanating from Xin Fai's body.
Even the sect elders who were sitting some distance away from them could feel it, the elders hurriedly turned a glance towards Xin Fai with watchful gazes.

Lan An was silent for a moment upon hearing that while Shen Xuemei shut Huang Kun's mouth tightly, his brows dived so sharply that even the wrinkles on the young man's face were clearly visible. Afterwards Xin Fai directed his gaze to the spectator bench which was now filled by the sea of humans, he felt a strange air from there let alone many in the audience as if they did not care about the course of the match like the others. Yang Guifei announced the names that had made it into the third round and there was a short pause before the match finally restarted. Li Yong was eager to tell his one disciple not to push himself, but Huang Kun's head was like it was made of stone. He did not want to look weak compared to Xin Fai and Shen Xuemei.
Huang Kun pulled out the sword and held it using his two hands, he read the situation for a while before making a decision.
The sword in Huang Kun's hand moved then swung rapidly, the fight between these two participants was running extremely fierce even damaging a portion of the match arena. If it could be said, Mu Shin was very good at self-defense but was weak in attack, whereas Huang Kun could do both but his strength was not enough to compensate Mu Shin.
Mu Shin's sword was laced with flames from his body, with it if Huang Kun managed to hit it then not only was it bleeding, his skin would also peel off.
Seeing the match run very dangerous Yang Guifei put up a counter-vigil to anticipate bad things to happen, and sure enough at the end of the match Mu Shin burned his deep power all out to make Huang Kun burn while attacking him.
