Ch. 145 - Unexpected Assault XI
"Damn! You guys, quickly catch that boy!" Liu Fengying rebuked in wrath, she slashed her sword until it collided with Yong Tao's weapon. Fireflowers splashed from the two weapons accompanied by the ringing of an extremely deafening sword.
In a matter of minutes various mainstay moves have Xin Fai muster for the sake of defeating one of these higher ups but not all of them succeed and even can actually endanger himself.
The strength level of these two higher-ups was indeed much greater than that of Xin Fai's previous enemies, not only able to dodge every attack he launched but also putting up a fierce resistance in their every move.
One of the higher-ups whose mouth is much more chatty than his friend who uses a whip gun, the other, Xin Fai inevitably had to be vigilant to avoid every slash of the whip not to mention avoiding the incision of the great sword belonging to his opponent who was now attacking directly.
Seeing that Xin Fai was not so profitable for Yong Tao to help him, he put in some attacks but Liu Fengying continued to urge him away from his two-tier battle as well as Xin Fai.
Liu Fengying's veiled intentions could be read by Yong Tao but he himself could do nothing as other enemies began to arrive disturbing his concentration.
From behind and beside several Black Blood members unleashed attacks and up there the White Blood troops along with the bird stealth they continued to shoot arrows. The more Yong Tao avoided it the distance with Xin Fai the more it opened wide.
One of the higher-ups of the Blood Devil Man shouted loudly like calling out to the others until many black flow warriors united with him, Xin Fai cursed loudly again and again. He was unsure of being able to face the situation before him for the umpteenth time after having previously used all his strength to slaughter the black-flow swordsman army.
Because of being too panicked by the sea of humans before him Xin Fai did not realize a whip shot sharply to make him bounce dozens of meters from his place, when he rose from the fall he was instead greeted by the murderous gaze of the enemies who were ready to catch him.
"Damn!"
The Demon Blood Humans thronged around wanting to kill him but a second later their higher-ups came with a loud bang cracking the floor.
"Stop all of you! This boy is my prey!"
The other higher-ups came without much talk, he slashed at Xin Fai so fiercely without giving a single second of pause.
Recovering the lost natural energy from his body unexpectedly required a rather long interval of time, Xin Fai had never realized that before because it usually used this natural energy once alone without any dependency. If recovering the natural energy he had been using continuously like this turned out to take time then all of Xin Fai's plans would certainly be destroyed.
In a situation that required more manpower in this sort of way Xin Fai was again cornered, he held back the power of the sword swing with all his might. The sound of friction on the floor sounded for a moment accompanied by the roar of the sword for a few seconds.
'If this continues I'm even like delivering my own life. I think it's time to step back for a bit while looking for help...'
Suddenly a speeding kick hit Xin Fai's face, he was thrown several meters by raising his face.
It was seen Liu Yun coming over while laughing mockingly.
"Time for vengeance for you."
"At a time like this he came..." Xin Fai cursed Liu Yun inwardly, his eyes looking dejected at the young man before him who was now protected by the two high-ranking Blood Demon Man.
"Now tell me, what can you do in such a precarious situation?" Liu Yun spoke as if the situation was already within the grasp of his hand. While the two higher-ups without much more talk immediately attacked Xin Fai.
The bow arrows shot sharply towards the two higher-ups but they were able to dodge all of it without any significant hitch, the whips and swords were eyeing each other in turn but Xin Fai persisted using the arrows, instead, he gritted his teeth while thinking hard but his mind could not be invited to cooperate.
With his usual running speed easily he got dozens of attacks and some attacked vital areas, Xin Fai tried to retreat but his two enemies seemed to not give him any space to move.
"You're like a worm fighting a lion, boy."
"Lion, you say? I'd rather believe if you said your face looked like a monkey's," Xin Fai replied making the higher-ups' faces turn off. He was furious to hear the sarcasm's answer.
"You-you?! Fucking boy! I'll make your mouth tear after saying that!"
The two-on-one action was not a draw, although Xin Fai's ingenuity in outwitting the opponent made the two adults fooled into catching him, though, Liu Fengying who previously felt it was the greatest opportunity for the sake of capturing their prey became a little hesitant.
Liu Yun put up the most strategic position to watch it because he felt no need to intervene, a little while his eyebrows slowly decreased indicating the strangeness depicted on his face.
He looked at the two higher-ups who continued to unleash brutal attacks but instead some of the attacks even hit their own friends. Xin Fai took refuge on the sidelines of the assassins and moved agilely with her still relatively small body.
Liu Yun clasped the Demonic Blood Man sword in his hand very tightly, but his gulp was avenged when he saw Xin Fai fall down when one of the black stream warriors entered the attack abruptly.
Xin Fai who had fallen into the black circle around him, he was ganged up with dozens of serrated swords, axes and machetes raised high up to tear his skin.
One of the officers shouted. "Hey! Don't make him die, we have to give it to the Chairman!"
Slowly, the crowd of black warriors around Xin Fai dispersed to open the way for the two higher-ups, they found Xin Fai's situation very sad. His skin was partially peeled off with a leaking head, while the traces of a machete lodged in his legs made him completely unable to escape again.
With his bloody hands still protecting his head, Xin Fai tried to get up as quickly as possible.
But his chest was stomped to the floor in a lying position, he opened one eye and found Liu Yun looking down on him.
"I guess the power of a Demon Man is like any news I've ever heard... But you, are nothing more than a coward."
