The Devil Sword Swordsman

The Devil Sword Swordsman
Ch. 60 - Bags For Lang

In the afternoon after nearly two hours Xin Fai persuaded Lian Sheng to allow her to return to the inn the man finally agreed.

Xin Fai widened her smile when she managed to break away, she said goodbye to all members of the Lian family without forgetting to thank them for treating her so well.

The one who was most saddened when Xin Fai was about to leave was the grandmother of Kaili's daughter, the nearly century-old woman hugging her slowly.

"It's only been a few days, but I've considered you as my grandson..."

Hearing that Xin Fai just smiled. But his eyes were directed to another place, a necklace around the old woman's neck. The necklace's eyes were adorned by a very familiar object in his eyes, similar to Lan An's Spring Mustika.

While still guessing whether Grandma Lian was right or wrong first read her thoughts, she knew Xin Fai was so interested in the jewelry she had on her.

"Do you like this mustika?"

"Mustika?" xin Fai said reflexively, if true guesses then the light brown mustika was Autumn Mustika. A moment of worry attacked him, if if the Blood Devil Man first snatched this mustika from Grandma Lian, of course bad things would happen in the future.

"This is one of the Mustika 7 Seasons that represents autumn... The Lian Family had been guarding this precious item for generations. Of course, the selling price is very high. Even being able to buy the residence of two noble families at once."

Hearing that Xin Fai hesitated a bit as she was about to make her point. The problem is that currently the Blood Devil Man is eyeing the mustika, it could be that Grandma Lian lost her life because of the mustika.

"Grandma Lian, I..." Xin Fai took out the Mustika Spring from her pocket, she turned to look at the old woman.

"That mustika is being targeted by a group called the Blood Devil Man... Are you sure you want to look after her?"

Seeing a mustika in Xin Fai's hands amazes Grandma Lian, Xin Fai explains that it was given to her to be kept from falling into the wrong hands.

"Are you willing to look after her for me?" granny Lian's speech made Xin Fai go silent for a few seconds.

After stringing up his words Xin Fai finally made a sound, "At least they won't know that the mustika is in my hands."

Grandma Lian smiled warmly after successfully understanding the situation.

"I've been guarding it till this very second. Now it's time for you to look after him, if you don't mind for sure." Grandma Lian gave the mustika happily. As the weight lifted off his shoulders, he was sure that Xin Fai could keep the Lian family's valuables in mind that now there was no way he could take care of them. The Blood Demon Man was definitely eyeing the noble family to obtain the mustika.

"I'll definitely take care of him."

"Without you asking for it, I want to give you that mustika, considering you have the power to protect it. It's just that before I was afraid you wouldn't accept it given that this mustika became the target of black warriors..."

"No need to hesitate, Grandma Lian. Thank you for trusting me. I promise I'll protect her as much as I can."

"Yes, equally." a satisfied smile adorned Grandma Lian's face, before long Lian Sheng came over after preparing the cavalry to deliver Xin Fai back to the inn.

With a heavy heart, Lian Sheng still delivered Xin Fai despite still hoping to hold her back from staying at his house.

Arriving at the inn, what Xin Fai discovered the first time was that many people were standing in front of the inn with scared faces. Wu Ang approached her with a worried face.

"There was a demon rampaging in your room from this morning."

"You mean Lang?"

"Yes, that Golden-Hairy Wolf."

Wu Ang's explanation made Xin Fai hurriedly go to his room and all he got was a wolf going on a rampage there.

"You can ask again!?"

Xin Fai more or less knew what made the wolf go berserk so he took out a large bag of meat he bought while on the way.

Lang approached the meat and immediately ate it.

"Grrh... You fucking kid, making me go on a rampage like this..." Lang could only grumble.

Out there are many people who are curious about the sound of tantrums in the inn. Wu Ang explained that there was a little boy who brought a demon into his room. Some believe, but others furrow eyebrows in disbelief at Wu Ang's confession.

"Hurry up and eat, we'll have to go and get here."

Lang who heard it only frowned for a moment. He did not really understand what Xin Fai said that he was in such a hurry to leave Houbi City.

In response to that, Xin Fai took out a precious item that she had obtained from Grandma Lian earlier.

"That's... Mustika Autumn?" Lang researched the mustika for longer, his guess was really precise.

"Well I got it from a noble family."

"You stole it?"

Xin Fai just smiled innocently. "I asked for it from Princess Kaili's Grandma. He said he wouldn't mind giving it to me."

"Basic useless child! Give me back that thing if you don't want to get into a lot of trouble!"

Not without reason Lang said that considering Mustika 7 Seasons lately so the hunt of black warriors and also dangerous groups such as Blood Demon Man and Five Leaf Basil. Of course being the owner of mustika is like risking your own life.

"No one will ever know that this mustika is in my hands, and if you don't want to get into a lot of trouble we should hurry out of here before Uncle Sheng tells me to stay at his house again."

Lang shook his head in an inexhaustible manner with the behavior of his master.

Xin Fai himself asked for the mustika to make sure the Blood Devil Man could not achieve their goal, whatever it was. Because if their goal was to resurrect a legendary figure like Qiang Jun and make use of it for their own sake, it was not impossible that the Shang Empire would be destroyed in the next few years.

While Grandma Lian did not mind her mustika at all, considering Xin Fai had saved her grandson she felt that mustika was suitable as her payment. By handing the Autumn Mustika to Xin Fai he would no longer have to worry about his ancestral relics falling into the wrong hands.

"And I have a gift for you," Xin Fai said shortly after. Lang who was still upset just glanced a moment.

Xin Fai took out a medium-sized bag with a very beautiful shape, a little golden pattern adorning the bag. He had bought it from a merchant when he returned to the inn.

Lang was getting interested.

"Is not this bag cool? You must love this, a wandering wolf like you would be cool enough to wear it."

Again Lang was consumed by Xin Fai's words.

"All right, let's move."
