Ch. 156 - The Lord of Lake II
The Lord of the Lake was on the surface of the water quietly, before a second after the lake water began to peak causing waves.
Xin Fai who had just recovered the wounds on her body could hear the voice and immediately prepared in a standby position. He sharpened all senses to read every movement that occurred around him.
The sound of a wink in the water became the first signal, Xin Fai twisted his legs while pulling the sword from its place. One crocodile attack followed by another crocodile, they have a pointy tooth arrangement like sharp metal. The horns on their heads looked as if they were made of solid iron.
The crocodile gore with its head now clashing with the sword. Xin Fai held back his sword that felt trembling while holding the horn's attack power. He retreated as the claws of the crocodile tried to reach him and stopped in a safe place.
Both camps each hold their own positions in anticipation of any movement. The crocodiles guessed how strong the man in front of him was while Xin Fai continued to find out where each crocodile was in the right position.
He inhaled a deep breath, the smell of the moss-green lake was covered with the smell of this crocodile.
Xin Fai lowered her head, she quoted some stones the size of her fist as four pieces. "From here I must also learn to find my opponent's position." He muttered softly, one of the stones thrown in the middle of an empty lake.
The lord of the lake would naturally want to temper Xin Fai all-out. "Haha! Lookie! You see that! Throwing it he can't, is ridiculous! It was ridiculous to challenge this family of iron crocodiles to fight!"
The second throw almost hit the body of one of the crocodiles, the beast dodged much faster than Xin Fai's stone throw.
In the third and fourth throws the situation did not change at all even worse. Xin Fai stood there for a moment trying to think about the entire pitch. He picked up two more stones and threw them into a tree. One of them almost hit the tree and the other direction is true but can not reach the tree because it is too weak to be thrown.
"The approximations of the source of my voice and instinct should be sharpened even more like it." Xin Fai imagined the two trees in front of him, but the crocodiles behind him could not hold back any longer. They ran impatiently towards him until the sound of splashing water was heard all over the place.
Xin Fai took a smaller stone and threw it, at first the Lord of the Lake thought it had missed and almost hit one of his brothers but to no avail.
But the stone hit the rock behind him and then reflected back on the head of the crocodile Lord Lake.
The stone that was flowed deeply by Xin Fai managed to provoke the savage demon emotions. Slowly Xin Fai smiled briefly. "As per my instinct and my estimation, it turns out that there is indeed a small stone to bounce the stone to his head."
Xin Fai could hear the air pressure passing through every gap between the crocodiles as well as the rocks. Gradually the shadow about the place around the lake is depicted in his brain. At least, this will greatly help him to face the next fight later.
While the crocodiles were still chasing after him, Xin Fai pulling the swift sword did not waste another chance. He was standing on a rock below which dozens of crocodiles were attacking.
The soul-eating demon-like sword dance shook the Lord of the Lake, in a short time three crocodiles had been cut off by the human child's sword.
"What the fuck is that boy... You sure he's a human?"
"You think?" The Lightning Fox replied casually, she stood balanced on top of a lotus leaf.
"It should be that young man was still an amateur in the fight, he did it like he had defeated a monster a hundred times..."
The Lightning Fox leaped onto the head of the lake lord, he whispered something. "I want you to fight him seriously, with all your strength if you can."
"Do you want to kill that kid?"
"Hm. I'm sure he won't get killed that easily, so you take it easy. Right now he still has a lot of strange powers that he hides."
Feeling unwilling to mince words any longer, the Lake Ruler immediately moved with the Lightning Fox that was out of his head.
The bodies of the crocodiles piled on the lake's deep reddened water, the fishy smell of blood smelled clearly on Xin Fai's nose who had just pulled the sword from the crocodile's neck. He turned his face to follow the sound stream and realized a large crocodile had been after him since.
The lake lord smiled cunningly. "Oh, I acknowledge your power to the point of killing many of my precious brothers. What if we fight on the water? Can you do it?" The poisonous words sounded as if they were challenging and very full of traps, the interlocutor paused for a while before finally jumping off the top of the stone and treading perfectly on the surface of the water.
The lake lord had not expected Xin Fai to be able to do so so easily, he felt deceived by his own eyes this time around.
"What you see is not really like the truth itself. Eyes can be clues, it can be deceivers."
"Then what you see of me is all a hoax, isn't it?"
"I don't see, I just feel it."
The lord of the lake increasingly did not understand where this conversation was going. He exclaimed loudly. "Easy! There's no point in talking to you. Just wasting my time!"
The body of the crocodile lord of this lake was much larger than his brother making the frequency of the water vibrations in Xin Fai's ears sound even more frenzied than before.
The crocodile showed off one of its hands with long nails that glittered glare as sunlight reflected there. "You won't come out again after this!"
The sneering of the crocodile demon widened with a sharp arch, he managed to release a single claw but the moment the grin faded when he realized Xin Fai had been behind him.
Instantly the crocodile's hands spurted blood endlessly until it looked like a spring. His long nails sank into the lake just like that.
"How come-!? Arrgh!' the crocodile did not have time to digest what was happening in front of him. The water around him started to be red by his own blood.
"I think the Fire Bear's power is far greater than yours."
"What did you say?!" The crocodile demon screamed in annoyance as if he was about to claw Xin Fai's face but the words that came out of the human mouth afterwards made him not dare to continue his anger.
"I've faced a demon that's more senior than you, hahaha!"
The Lightning Fox felt intrigued when she heard it, she felt that the talk was a little excessive considering that she was a suitable category in this 'Senior Demon' considering that she was even tens of thousands of years old.
"I don't think I ever fought you, Faifai? Have you ever fought an Earth Ruler Demon other than me?" ask the Lightning Fox.
Silencing him Xin Fai became a separate answer for the crocodile, he laughed exploded. "Hahaha the boy bragged a lot! If you have ever fought with an Earth Ruling Demon I will give you this one iron crocodile for free every day!"
The offer only made Xin Fai comment on a meaningful smile. He took out the Blue Gems of Light that he had been keeping well in his pocket.
The eyes of the Thunder Fox widened, its silvery rays flashing and leaping very quickly snatched the jewel.
