The woman's face was thumped using a wooden stick that was fed with deep energy, fresh blood coming out of her mouth. Haven't had time to balance his body, in one move Xin Fai pointed the staff at his feet tightly.
Xin Fai took Lian Kaili forcibly while the woman tried to balance her body, after successfully obtaining it she ran away fast at high speed. He realized, using only a wooden stick was very unlikely to kill a hitman with the strength of an intermediate swordsman like him.
While the woman could have asked for the help of another hitman using a firecracker in her hand, of course it would be troublesome for her if it really happened.
The assassin could not stay still, he was about to chase after Xin Fai but his cheek felt burnt by something. The woman's eyes successfully widened, she sat limp and just waited for the time until death to pick her up. In his last moments he could see that the stick that Xin Fai had been fighting had been covered in poison.
"Hhh, I have lost to a boy who only uses a stick..." The woman was bleeding more and more from her mouth, she was lying on the ground with a burning pain all over her body. In his heart he admitted that Xin Fai's fighting ability was quite great, he should not underestimate the boy from the beginning.

The news of Kaili's daughter's abduction has spread rapidly throughout Houbi City and now hundreds of soldiers are being driven simultaneously. The panic caused the atmosphere of the rowdy city of Houbi not to play.
Lian Sheng directed the horse he was riding in no direction, his bodyguards had not given him any good news since. They lost track of Xin Fai and the hitman.

Along the way they continue to be the object of attention, plus the frightened face of Lian Sheng which now looks very clear. After a long time racing horses finally they stopped at a place that was far from the crowd.
Lian Sheng turned his gaze around several times until at the end of the road he found a boy with a body bathed in blood holding his beloved daughter.
"Fai 'er! What happened to you?!" panicking Lian Sheng down from his horse, he looked at Xin Fai worriedly.
"I'm fine, it's best that Uncle Sheng immediately take princess Kaili to a safe place. I'm going back to the inn to heal my wounds."
"No, no. We're going back to my house, there's a healer who's going to treat your wounds."
Without waiting for Xin Fai's approval again, Lian Sheng brought her back. As much as Xin Fai could treat her body using deep energy, she slowly began to understand how to treat her own injuries without being taught by anyone.
Arriving at the Lian family residence, Lian Sheng immediately sought a healer to treat Xin Fai. With immediately a reliable healer coming towards the boy, he treated Xin Fai immediately.
Slowly the face of the healer who treated him gradually deteriorated, he took a few steps back while trying to treat it.
"What the fuck?" The healer took a few steps back leaving Lian Sheng confused. Xin Fai furrowed her brows deeply. "When I treat this child it is precisely my inner energy along with my life energy is absorbed by it."
"I don't absorb your life energy at all, don't accuse me carelessly."
"It's not you. But that someone in your body... He," said the healer shaking his head. "He's very terrible. I can't treat you anymore, you can find another healer besides me."
The healer suddenly resigned until it made Lian Sheng very angry, the healer's behavior was very draining of Lian Sheng's emotions but want to how else he had just left.
Despite still thinking about the healer's words, Lian Sheng did not bother about it too far, as his mind was now focused on the wound on Xin Fai's shoulder.
"It's uncle, I can treat myself."
Lian Sheng let out a small breath. "I'm really sorry I couldn't help you with that wound, even though you saved my daughter twice. If you weren't here, I couldn't imagine what would happen."
Even though he did not mind doing it at all, Lian Sheng still hesitated.
"Looking at you saving my son twice I've wanted to make you my adopted son even more..."
Xin Fai initially thought Lian Sheng was just jokingly wanting to make her an adopted child but it seemed that he was serious about her words.
"Uncle, no need. I don't deserve it at all" Xin Fai said. Again he was faced with this situation, coupled with the wound on his shoulder made Xin Fai very tormented both internally and mentally.
"Is not my offer interesting? By becoming a noble family you will become a respected person and have easy access when you want to travel wherever you like..."
Lian Sheng still got a minimal response from Xin Fai, the boy was not very interested in what he offered. It was rare for him to find a person like Xin Fai who was completely unmoved by his offer.
"Uncle Sheng, I saved Kaili's daughter because I felt responsible."
Lian Sheng smiled weakly, he already knew that Xin Fai did indeed have an excellent nature. Her kindness really made her so touched, seeing Xin Fai willingly bet her life for her daughter certainly made Lian Sheng so respectful.
"Alright if that's what you want, I won't force you to accept my request. But at least take this with you, who knows it could be useful someday." Lian Sheng took out back the medal he had offered.
This time Xin Fai did not want to reject her again, she accepted happily.
After a long chat Xin Fai intended to go home to recover his condition but Lian Sheng first prevented it.
"Wait a minute, I want to give you something."
Moments later, a servant brought a bag of gold coins and some other valuable items, and there were pills, potions and medicines there that made Xin Fai stare in disbelief.
With a bag of gold pieces that alone he had become a rich merchant especially with some other gifts.
Xin Fai cheered in her heart. "I'm finally a rich merchant, Dad! Ahhaha!"
