Ch. 197 - The Proud Girl
The Holy Sword Alliance arrived in a bustling city, the security of the city being guarded so tightly that foreign warriors were not allowed to enter except without permission or authority.
Zhu Yue had just gotten off her horse along with the members of the alliance, she sumringah when she saw the atmosphere of such a bustling tavern. A leisurely night after going through a hellish war a few days ago made the humble tavern seem like heaven. He walked quickly, followed by the others.
Meanwhile, Xin Fai chose to rotate the direction of the departure. He intended to take a short walk in search of a fresh breeze. The wine shop that was so boisterous and noisy made him even more dizzy.
For a moment he stood looking at the figure of a very beautiful girl passed in front of him haughty, he felt no stranger to such a noble figure let alone the girl being accompanied by two young men who were most likely his friends since childhood. His haughty movements accompanied by the stern look of his eyes make anyone will look down when stared at by him.
The hue of the girl's face turned embarrassed upon noticing the gaze of a young man being fixed on her, she was sure Xin Fai must be putting her heart into it. After all, this is common to him, all men are sure to fall in love when they see his beautiful face, without exception.
Ren Yuan flicked his straight hair feeling very graceful, as he hoped that Xin Fai was looking at him in fact the young man had already looked away fed up. Of course Xin Fai was so fond of Ren Yuan, this girl who always called him by the name of 'common people' had a bad impression on his head. Plus that haughty attitude, he chose not to look for any more affairs with her or else the problem would be very long.
"You!"
Xin Fai who was pretending to be busy with the merchandise in front of her gasped slightly, slowly twisting her body for the sake of being able to see Ren Yuan.
"That's it, Miss Ren. It's late, we have to go back or else your father will be angry..." Men who were taller than the three complained. He was Zhuan Ang, next to whom his friend simply turned a indifferent gaze.
The young man was Gong Li, from the look in his eyes he seemed to have grown fed up with Ren Yuan's attitude. This girl was always looking for trouble with people she disliked making the view of other noble families start to get bad on the Ren family.
Xin Fai furrowed her brows inexplicably. There was an inner upheaval that was so torturous, he wanted to leave this place immediately.
A girl who had reached the age of 17 like Ren Yuan certainly had a mouth as sharp as a knife, let alone her brain so great as to flip through words in cornering her interlocutor. Somehow the story goes that Ren Yuan and a chatty wolf named Lang were pitted against. Just imagine that he has got a picture of a terrible world war.
"Why daydream?!" Ren Yuan raised his voice.
'Well, I have to find a way to escape.' that's all he can think of for now, Xin Fai stole a glance behind him hoping that Zhu Yue would be there for him to have a reason to leave.
But unlucky, all the members of the Sacred Sword Alliance had already entered the wine shop and were partying there.
At first he felt confident that he could escape from Ren Yuan, but had not had time to step on his feet the girl muttered softly. "Look at you like I remembered someone."
Gong Li who had earlier thrown away a lazy face followed by looking at the old Xin Fai until his expression began to change. As well as Zhuan Ang, they stared fixedly at the young man without letting go of his eyes.
"Maybe it's just your feelings... I have business to do."
Ren Yuan blocked his steps. Xin Fai who was smiling widely started to panic, she just hoped that this girl would let go and be able to go free from this place. In fact his hope was not that easy, Ren Yuan revealed an eye that he had a hard time understanding.
"You're pretty handsome too? May meet? Which noble family are you from?"
"Huh?" That flat response made Ren Yuan choke on his own breath, from the robe and aura he had he was sure Xin Fai was the son of a noble let alone that his face was very supportive.
Ren Yuan turned his body back to face the two friends. "If you want to go home please, I'll be there soon."
"Is my request too difficult to do?" Diving away already the pretty face of Ren Yuan, she started to burn out her own emotions due to her two friends.
The more mature Gong Li interceded, he knew Zhuan Ang could not let Ren Yuan go alone as he pleased but on the other hand the girl could take care of herself. Anyone did not dare to disturb the fierce lion because its own strength was enough to subvert a great swordsman in a single blow.
Xin Fai looked unwillingly at the departure of Gong Li and Zhuan Ang, she felt a bad premonition while being with this girl. While Ren Yuan was still busy watching his two friends, Xin Fai was sneaking an escape from the place.
But Ren Yuan had already read his mind first and immediately moved in the way for the second time.
"Where are you going?"
"Yes? I'm gonna run away." Xin Fai coughed after saying that, her mouth origin speaking as she was busy thinking of ways to escape.
"You think I'm the devil to run away like this?" Ren Yuan took a furious breath.
"I mean I ran away because there's business..."
"A senseless defense! Daritadi I see you're busy seeing this it's like a man with a lack of work, when I see it's like someone wants a running race!"
Not knowing what to answer, Xin Fai cursed loudly inwardly. His tongue silat science is still less sharp especially during in the Fog Forest his social interaction is limited to not being able to practice his speaking skills.
"Not so, you misunderstood. What's your business with me anyway?"
"Well, now blame me! You idiot! Men are all shit!"
Xin Fai became annoyed herself, she looked at the girl so lazily. If only what he was currently fighting with Liang Hui might he be able to have any hope of winning. But if it was a fight with Ren Yuan, just back away he would not necessarily calm down.

"You should have said that from the beginning."

"You haven't answered my question yet" he said. "May I know your first name?"
If he were to tell who he was perhaps Ren Yuan would raise more questions in front of him, Xin Fai answered the origin.
"My first name is Li."
"Oh, really? Li's extended family is indeed great to have a handsome heir like you," the girl praised. Xin Fai smiled wryly. Not once did he expect to be praised by this haughty girl Ren Yuan.
