The Devil Sword Swordsman
Ch. 212 - Moultice Wholesalers

The old grandmother continued. "About what I said earlier, don't let the dark side swallow you." It seemed that the grandmother knew what was inside her body despite not being able to confirm it clearly, inside the dimness the wrinkled face looked solemnly said.

"By the way I came here to look for a sealer, is it for sale?" Xin Fai shifted the subject.

"Seals? What's for?"

"To seal..." Xin Fai thought hard. "Ah, that... Male duck demon."

Although that absurd reason came out of her mouth, the old grandmother was still trying to believe it. He tried to remember for a while, although his memory was quite good old. The old woman said calmly.

"You just walk straight, all the way to the very back of the left corner, you'll meet a pathetic old man. The trade is always unsold, and if you get there be careful."

"Watchy why?"

"Be careful because my beautiful face will be ringing in your head." The old woman blinked a flirtatious eye, Xin Fai rounded her eyes in fear. He hurriedly rubbed his body while muttering amit-amit. The old granny was so eccentric, from her style of speaking it was obvious that she was not from the Shang Empire.

Not thinking any further about the old woman's words Xin Fai immediately stepped foot toward the edge of the black market. It didn't take him long to get there, he found an old man in a shirt full of patches exactly like a beggar.

From his face alone it was seen he had no spirit of life, his eye bags in making his appearance so sinister. The flies were flying like they were singing a death song to the old man who soon seemed like he was going to die.

Awkward to open the conversation, Xin Fai went to look at her merchandise, picking, observing and frowning in wonder. Most are items that have not sold for several years. This seller did nothing for the next half hour other than sitting cross-legged in a lowered position.

"Hey, I want to buy something. Can you take a look at this stuff for a second? How much is it worth?"

The wind just passed by, the seller did not budge precisely the sound of flies flying as if laughing at him at that moment. Turning his mind around, Xin Fai went to look at a mask in the dragon carving, it was unclear what it was for because when he put it on, none of the oddities appeared.

'Hm... It's just that his merchandise doesn't sell, he even sells children's toys in places where adults are surrounded like this.' Xin Fai was only inward, her eyes were highlighting the man for a long time speechlessly.

His gaze now fell on a box of jade, seemingly the single most precious item there.

In a moment his hand was about to touch the box, the seller got up from his seat and in an unexpected state the jade box had changed hands.

The unexpected movement then made Xin Fai surprised, from the beginning he tried to measure the ability of the man and felt himself just an ordinary trader.

The seller, since then, has been hiding his power.

"This thing is not for sale."

Perplexed, Xin Fai interrupted her words. "So why would you put it there if you couldn't buy it?"

"What's your purpose in coming here?" The man then asked back.

"I heard from the old granny up ahead, you're selling things like sealing."

The man then pulled out a necklace that was covered by a small pale blue stone. "You can take it, please get out of here."

"The "gold you gave me will just pile up there. I don't need that anymore" he said flatly, with no interest and felt empty. Behind him were a few wraps of cloth filled with gold, so many even made Xin Fai speechless for quite a long time while the man held his hand while glaring away.

"So what do you want for pay?"

"Huh... There's no way you're gonna have it, and then you come here to buy it, right?"

"Yes. If my purpose is to sell for whatever I come to you."

"Well, that's what I'm looking for..." The man propped up his chin lazily, he exhaled a heavy breath as he glared at the jade box in his hand. "Lately the things I can sell are no more, too many buyers came in after learning of the black market's existence until I had nothing to sell other than this little box and those useless things."

"If even this box becomes gold, maybe I will stop being a seller and enjoy the rest of my life by spending the gold." The man hung up his words.

"I just want to spend the rest of my life continuing to work, at least still more useful than living lazily."

"Your life's complicated, too, yeah..." Xin Fai said in sympathy. He did not understand what was in the man's head, when everyone wanted to live a quiet life he was dizzying ways to always live in a difficult situation.

"What's in that box?"

"A Mustika 7 Season."

Spontaneous Xin Fai coughed at hearing that, he did not expect the item he was looking for was in a corner of the black market like this. Still recovering from his shock, the man had already stuffed the jade box in his pocket.

"Tu-wait!"

"I told you this isn't for sale!" The man glared in annoyance, he took a heavy breath and then threw it away slowly. He seemed hesitant to give the box away without his will.

"I didn't buy it, I traded it!"

"Oh... You dare to exchange this Empire's most sought after item for what? I managed to buy it by using all the money when I was at the peak of my former glory. And just so you know, I bought it from another Empire. Can you estimate how much money you're gonna have to pay?" His words seem challenging, it is not that easy to get a Mustika 7 Season by buying and selling. The price is also exorbitant if it is estimated with gold coins.

Xin Fai took out all the items he had stolen from the Demon Blood Man's headquarters as well as the rest he had obtained while on a mission with Yong Tao.

Instantly, the place where the salesman was filled with many books from other Empires, swords of all kinds of types and sizes, strange potions with pungent odors and many more. The amount even goes through the selling area of other traders.

A surprised look appeared in the eyes of the people around him, they were stunned to see all those items. It is not an easy matter to collect it even in the period of five to ten years is not necessarily, unless done in a large group.

The grumpy man smiled gleefully accepting it all, his marsupial eyes sparkling happily– really do not believe in this very pampering sight. Bathed in antiques and high-priced items he began to think about the benefits he would get. The buyers certainly will not hesitate to spend thousands of gold pieces just to get this one item.

"Oh, aih! This is so excessive, I didn't expect today I'd have a treasure trooper!" The seller hugged the shiny stuff.

"Can I have that mustika?"
