The Devil Sword Swordsman

The Devil Sword Swordsman
Ch. 233 - Loss of Two Members

A wisp of dust flew about in the hot wind, on a narrow alley of the Sacred Sword Alliance finding the traces of one of the enemies. They flocked to follow him until they arrived at a large enough residence where the headquarters of the Devil Cult was established.

However the place looked so quiet that there was not a single person to be seen outside the residence, Zhu Yue circled around the place and made sure there were only servants and a few bodyguards left. There was a man in a Devil Cult uniform in front of the residence and it seemed that the man was in a hurry to travel.

Several bags and letters were carried in the man's hands, sweat pouring violently on both temples with intermittent breathing.

A sword thrust right before him made the man's eyes widen, he looked towards the hand of the person who did that and became a little afraid of seeing it.

Xin Fai stared intently at him, as if to say something but just silently waiting for him to react.

"W-what are you doing here?" Finally, after a long time, the man spoke, but his voice sounded like a mutter. Zhu Yue approached the man, patting him on the shoulder.

"Are you among the people of the Devil Cult?"

His mouth shut showing a reluctant manner of telling, he continued on the path as if not caring for the Sacred Sword Alliance entourage behind him. Such an attitude infuriated Zhu Yue, she caught up and held onto the man's shoulder trying to warn.

"Cube you one more chance to answer, are you from the Devil Cult?"

"What if I choose not to answer?" challenge the man back, he put on an arrogant face.

"Don't blame me if your life is over here any minute!"

The man seemed to be indifferent to Zhu Yue's words, his actions started to look different from before. He looked in various directions as if confirming something, after which only a small smile was visible on his face.

"Tell me where the Devil Cult is!" Zhu Yue pulled the collar of the man's shirt slightly carried away in emotion, Xin Fai held back his chest trying to calm down. Not so long in turn asked nicely but the response obtained was exactly the opposite.

"Cih, a rowdy group like you are about to go against the Crown Prince? Don't get big head first!" brave bluff.

"You-you!? Kill him now!"

"Vice Zhu, control your emotions. He might still be useful to us."

"Chairman Xin, if you want to find the location of the existence of the Devil Cult the people around might know, rather than having to talk to this human! Really sucks!"

Unwilling to argue any longer Zhu Yue immediately pulled the hilt of her sword, Xin Fai was about to stop but himself also wanted to finish off the man immediately. Unmistakably, from the uniform he wore the man came from the Devil Cult.

Within the three slashes the man had killed on Zhu Yue's hands, blood spurted on the ground just like that. Xin Fai tried to check her luggage and guessed this man seemed to be about to go outside the city for some reason. The Devil cult had most likely left this city, that was all he could deduce.

The alliance moved towards the settlement of the citizens with the intention of asking where the Demon Cult group had gone, one of the fishermen replied cautiously still with his head swerving left right making sure the person he was talking about did not exist.

"Me-they go to the dock, that's... They're about to stage a coup in Renwu City. About two hours ago, Jiang Cheng announced it. I don't know what will happen in our Empire..." After speaking he could only shake slowly. "Maybe this is the beginning of the destruction of all of us."

"We have to catch up with them, let's move" he said later. Just about to walk towards the pier one of the members shouted out loud.

"Chairman, I can't see Lu Rong and Yin Fang in our group, they still haven't returned!"

Xin Fai turned her body over quickly, it was true that while bringing the entire members to the Blue Cloud they were lacking two members. The two people had still not been seen since, even after he had told others to look for the remaining two people.

Without much further ado, he told the members to split up in search of Lu Rong and Yin Fang, hoping that nothing bad happened to the two of them. All the members of the Sacred Sword Alliance dispersed, only Zhu Yue and Xin Fai remained at the dock.

"Chairman, we can't stay too long. Those two guys could catch up later." Zhu Yue gave an opinion.

"Can't, we have to keep finding the rest of those two people. I have a bad feeling about this."

"You mean them..."

"That's just my guess."

Almost an hour waiting while searching for information from the fishermen, they could not get anything. Finally two minutes later two people from the Sacred Sword Alliance appeared but the look on his face was not very good.

"We've searched the west and couldn't find them anywhere."

Five people came with horses, their faces no different from the person who gave the first report. They could not find the whereabouts of the two men.

Nearly fifty people had gathered within ten minutes but out of all the many people no one knew where Lu Rong and Yin Fang were. The situation started to destabilize, they started to fuss with each other blaming each other. When the rest came back, one of the warriors came in a hurry. His face was extremely anxious, a sign that something bad had happened.

The man pointed behind him. "By the bridge... I found Lu Rong and Yin Fang tied up on a wooden tree. They died with their whole bodies stuck in sharp knives."

The news immediately made them move very quickly, arriving under the bridge in fact the condition of the two people was much worse than imagined. Five forest wolves were jumping up to the bodies of the two people, their legs had been torn to shreds until only the flesh was left on the knees up.

"The fuckers..." The sword in Xin Fai's hand shook violently, he became furious. Look at the Crown Prince's sly smile again ringing in his head. That instant too he was eager to slaughter everyone of the Devil Cult.

"Get the bodies of the two men together, we must pay their last respects."

Everyone nodded in agreement, however these two people were heroes even though they fell early.

The five wolves retreated in fear when they saw eighty humans coming simultaneously towards them, for a moment Xin Fai looked up feeling sorry for these two people. The way they were killed was indeed very sad.

"Dead in dirty hands like them, I will definitely give you a vengeance that is tenfold more terrible than you feel."

Zhu Yue nodded, watching Lu Rong's corpse being lifted for burial immediately. For a moment his brows furrowed, he took out a headband behind the man's robe.
