Ch. 124 - Efficacy of Snake Demon Gems
"The Three Dragons Twins Sect?! Isn't that the middle sect that defected in our Empire lately?"

Three hours since the Tournament was postponed, Shen Xuemei's state had gotten worse, he opened his eyes forcefully but his consciousness was lost in the blink of an eye.
Li Yong shook his student's shoulder but he was unconscious, Xin Fai who stood beside him could only think and continue thinking but his mind was completely deadlocked.
The greatest healers and medics had been summoned since 3 hours ago but none of them had managed to make Shen Xuemei's state of affairs improve, instead time continued to run faster and faster was about to take the young man's life.
Xin Fai crouched down beside Shen Xuemei, his head started to ache from the constant thought plus the spectators started to get impatient and forced the match to resume immediately. They do not understand that the life of one of the participants in the tournament is now in danger.
In retrospect the only antidote that could cure Shen Xuemei could only be made by this poison maker himself. Moreover, Xin Fai was less sure there was another way. He recalled all the things he had been through and was sure one would definitely come in handy.

Despite having lost all of his profound strength, Shen Xuemei was still able to awaken. He found himself mobbed by many people including the medical team, healers, Yong Tao, Li Yong as well as Xin Fai.
Shen Xuemei held onto her body and made sure she was fine, she was still confused by what had happened. Li Yong spoke slowly.
"Thank God, you survived..." Li Yong smiled weakly, the cold sweat on his forehead still pouring out. While Yang Guifei was staring at Xin Fai somewhat warily. He felt that the demon gems that Xin Fai had obtained from his body were not a natural sight let alone that those gems did not belong to ordinary demons either.
