Ch. 24 - A Thousand Feet Army vs a Blood Devil Man
Chuan Gui pointed at the Demonic Blood Man with his sword. He shouted out loudly to make his entire army run down the enemy.
The two camps met and harmed each other, the tree trunk made them unable to move freely while the Blood Demon Man himself was already used to fighting in a place like this. For a moment the enemy took control of the fight quickly.
The vanguard becomes a death loop that can take lives in seconds.
Chuan Gui slashed the sword bravely just like his troops, their fighting spirit was so high that Xin Fai could also feel the same way. He could not stand still, any effort Xin Fai made to cripple the enemy.
Xin Fai climbed onto the tree which was the safest place, she pulled out a bow and released it right in the esophagus of a black stream swordsman. The man was holding his esophagus like a person screaming in pain but the sound that could come out was only faintly before his body fell lying lifeless.
Seeing the enemy besieging Chuan Gui, Xin Fai pointed an arrow at it. The arrow shot sharply, which Xin Fai feared was that the bearded man had instead been hit by his attack. But when the arrow approached, Chuan Gui turned around and found the enemy behind him lifeless.
He looked at Xin Fai who was on top of a tree while shaking slowly. In fact, he was really amazed to even consider Xin Fai to be from the Imperial nuclear family who had been trained to fight since childhood. Given that Zhishu Yan placed so much emphasis on him to protect the child as much as possible, as well as Xin Fai's strength which was quite decent for a child his age.
That made Chuan Gui even more respectful to Xin Fai, the person respected by his leadership was definitely not a random person.

After running out of arrows Xin Fai was intending to fight using a sword, instantly two people surrounded him making him so difficult to keep up with the two warriors. Chuan Gui who had killed his opponent came closer to Xin Fai, in return for the child having saved his life earlier.
Chuan Gui protected Xin Fai from the front, as one of the enemies escaped from him easily Xin Fai jumped up and stuck his sword in the neck, the man groaned in solidarity.
And what happened next, the man did the same as the previous enemy. He put the sword into his chest. Suddenly the wind around me blew. His body turned more stocky as well as his eyes turned fiery red.
Feeling the circumstances back inauspicious Xin Fai finally called out to Lang, the wolf appeared after a golden light came out. The demon and swordsman fight was extremely fierce whereas Xin Fai was running towards Chuan Gui who was already some distance away from him.
"Senior, don't let them stab the tattoo with that sword!"
The entire Thousand Feet Army was commanded the same thing so that the members of the Blood Devil Man could not release the seal. Actually without being told Xin Fai herself, Chuan Gui already knew that. It was no secret that every Demon Blood Man who would meet his end would choose to surrender himself to the Heart Demon residing in their bodies to take over.
Bloodshed was everywhere, Xin Fai's clothes were already filled with blood yet the boy did not care because he had already killed many people before. The sight like a pile of corpses in his brain was much more terrifying than it was now.
Some members of the Thousand Feet Squad frowned deeply, seeing a small child kill many people was certainly very strange. They themselves could feel the murderous air escaping from the child's body without him noticing.
At that very moment Lang managed to kill the swordsman who became his enemy, the wolf roared in his place.
The fight stopped when the entire enemy had lost his life, from their own side had fallen at least twice that of the enemy. One Blood Demon Man could compensate for two of their army's strength.
Chuan Gui knelt down in front of Xin Fai despite his breathless breathing. "Master can come with us to the nearby city of Anguo. We can guarantee your safety."
"Well..." Xin Fai scratched her head, "why did you call me Master?" he asked a question that haunted his mind.
Chuan Gui raised his head. "Our leader, Zhishu Yan has sent me a letter. He said that Master officially got a guarantee of safety from our sect."
Xin Fai lowered his eyebrows still did not understand, if it was true that the man he met in Peiyu Village was apparently not a random person. Zhishu Yan was an important person in his sect.
"Every person who has such shells will have the full protection of our sect. We served the Empire a long time ago, usually only the core nobles got it. But our leader says that you are an important figure that we must protect."
"So so..." Xin Fai nodded slowly. "Can I still ask for help?"
"Of course, sir."
"There's one Warrior left in that village, I want to save him and expel all the Blood Devil Humans from there."
Although Xin Fai's wishes were so dangerous yet the Thousand Feet Army did not mind. Their sect was so famous for devotedly serving the Empire, many of them were employed as bodyguards of important people. It clearly made this sect so famous.
