The Devil Sword Swordsman
Ch. 168 - Intrusion Mission VI
Shortly when he reached his room Xin Fai pulled the swordsman who took him into the room and killed him instantly. He closed the door after making sure no one was looking and immediately hid the man's corpse under the chamber. He was wearing the man's head protection accompanied by a long black robe specially belonging to the Blood Devil Man members who were in charge of guarding the Sanmin City headquarters.
Xin Fai walked out of the room while fixing the location of her head protector. He walked in the main hallways past the guards. Fortunately, no one suspected him until he could move freely.
'After this turn left towards the warehouse.' his mind recalls Xu Ming's words. Having arrived at the warehouse he walked squat because behind a pile of boxes seen two people moving goods there.
Xin Fai could not be sure which direction the two people were looking at, he continued walking behind the table making a slight sound.
"Hey!"
'Shit! I should have killed them earlier.' Xin Fai said in his heart but it could not be done because if anyone realized the two people on duty did not come back it would bring new problems.
"Quick move! That pelontos is definitely going to babble again if we're late like that!"
"Don't just talk, help me pick up too!"
The two people finally left and disappeared in front of the door, Xin Fai resumed his journey. "It should be in this warehouse there's a secret room..." Xin Fai touched the walls of the warehouse very hard, he knocked on every part of it until a passage sounded that made a loud noise.
"Here we go."
But in retrospect there was no way to get in there, breaking it down was also impossible. Xin Fai started to turn around and then knocked on the wall to make a noise. The sound bounces to every object in the room and automatically makes it have a picture of the place around it.
Xin Fai found a lever near the table, as she pulled it down a moving door to open the secret room inside. He went in there immediately until the door closed again.
The hallways in front of Xin Fai were now illuminated by candlelight mounted on the wall, many strange paintings and also blood spots stuck there. The more into the pool of blood the more flooded the ground, the wall also issued a fishy smell because there are traces of blood in the shape of the palm of the hand. Don't know what this all means. There may have been a fight here.
"Chairman Liu is retiring soon? His son is our leader? Are you kidding me?" A guard spoke up ahead. Xin Fai hurriedly hid behind the oil barrel while hearing that quite shocking information.
"Well that's how it is, he's now being treated at his residence. The fight seven years ago made his health worse year after year."
Unexpectedly the two people were walking towards him instead, Xin Fai prepared to pull out his sword. When he had come out of his hiding place and cut right on the necks of the two men in one slash, apparently one more guard followed and witnessed the deaths of the two guards.
"Invader! There's intruders!"
The screams invited the other guards. Xin Fai sped as fast as she could and cut off her neck shaft so as not to make any more noise. When the other guards came over they found that three people had been sprawled lifeless and the other was still standing.
"What's going on?!"
Xin Fai replied. "There was one intruder among them, he had already killed two people!"
No one was suspicious of Xin Fai, the five men scrutinized the body of the guard and did not get an identity badge from his pocket.
Xin Fai hid the man's badge in her pocket, and moved in alarm. Actually he could have killed these five people but himself could not confirm the number of guards of this dungeon. After all if moving with known enemies will be much more troublesome according to him.
"Can you show me your badge?"
Xin Fai pointed out the badge she had just obtained, she was grateful Xu Ming told her how important this badge was if he wanted to infiltrate.
The dark room managed to hide Xin Fai's body, she walked around sneaking. Not far from him on the right and left are large-bodied demon cages.
Just wanting to get through the mouth of the door a demon woke up, he stared at Xin Fai with the sound of his his hissing that made Xin Fai realize he had been caught. However the demon demon did not react to anything and considered it just the wind then.
'Is he letting me because I'm like a guard here? Or because there's a demon in my body?' mind guessing.
Not choosing to think any further Xin Fai had now arrived at the end of the passageway. There are many strange levers and also large serrated wheels.
Xu Ming said Xin Fai only needed to fiddle with these serrated wheels and levers until a sound was heard. Although so little information has been provided, it has been useful so far and no one has missed it.
Yet nearly an hour of directing these objects in all directions none of them worked. Xin Fai let out a heavy sigh. Shifting heavy iron the size of half his body is not easy. But this was the last defense he had to go through in order to obtain the antidote to all poisons.
"Brook... If I'm the lucky guy, come on... They'll probably be here soon." Xin Fai muttered softly, his steps pacing in front of the iron lever.
Xin Fai pulled the smallest lever to the right, then to the left, while pulling downwards came the sound of 'tapping' inside. There was no sign the door would open.
Xin Fai's next lever pointed to the left, but the previous lever moved to its original place. Xin Fai squeezed her hair in annoyance, this was an intricate riddle that was hard to solve. Not willing to give up just like that he kept repeating from the first lever to the ninth lever for half an hour trying. He took a tired breath, his physique was not tired but his brain was getting hot since earlier.
When pointing the largest lever behind a 'tap' sound is heard again. Xin Fai opened the huge door with all her might. Its heavy weight causes a frictional sound when pushed.
Xin Fai breathed a sigh of relief as she managed to enter this room after some pain, if it were not for her ingenuity perhaps she would have continued to be dead-end upon opening the door earlier.
In front of him a room with high shelves filled with various kinds of valuable items such as world maps, expensive pendants and also other Imperial books welcomed his arrival. Robbery items such as gold and bronze were piled up in the left corner. Xin Fai wandered around for a while until her nose could smell a potion at the end of the room.
When he realized the medicine that gave off this distinctive smell was within the jade Xin Fai smiled faintly, he could confirm it was not poison after smelling its scent. Xu Ming said that the antidote to Wei Xinxin's poison was placed in a small purple jade and he could confirm the item in question was in his hands.
Xin Fai immediately drank it, a few seconds his gaze was still dark until in the tenth second slowly his eyes began to catch faintly the golden mound in front of him.
"I... I can see? Ah, after all this time..." Xin Fai did not know what to say anymore, this sense of happiness had been desired for so long. He turned his gaze and could only see directly the twinkling of this precious item.
A sneaky smile was plastered on his face. He moved his hands while laughing. "Hehehe..."
Within two minutes the entire room was empty, somehow Fen Gong's expression upon seeing this was all possible.
There was not a single precious item left but an heirloom sword that was now within his grasp. Xin Fai who had just been able to look back inexhaustibly smiled in satisfaction.
"After I can see again don't expect you to survive. I'm going to slaughter you all today." He said while carrying the heirloom sword, in the blink of an eye he had disappeared from the room.
