"You're just his subordinate, are you so sure about your strength?"
"No need to say much, I'll show you. Without using a sword."
Xin Fai dropped the commander's sword, the dozens of bodyguards in front of him began to move in his sights but he closed his eyes slowly.
"The Forbidden Book - The Illusion of Blood Rain."
Zhu Yue tried to look at her house from a distance and could see the raging flames in her grandmother's old house, she intended to tell Xin Fai.
"Chairman Xin! I'll catch up with my sister!"
"I'm coming with you."
"How come, you haven't killed them–" Zhu Yue swallowed his words as she saw that everyone before her had been lifeless without any scars or any obstruction.
Unable to speak anymore Zhu Yue was only able to look at her lead a little in fear. His gaze was much more alert. Xin Fai paid no attention to that anymore, she immediately ran over.
Not waiting for long the two immediately moved towards grandmother Zhu Yue's house, the firewood that was placed beside the house burned down causing the fire to spread into the house. Zhu Yue broke down the door and found her younger sister Zhu Ye already lying in the middle of the room in a lifeless state.
"Ye 'er! Hang in! You have to live!" Zhu Yue moved her sister's shoulders, her tone raspy. Zhu Ye had been taking care of him since childhood, she was so protective of her little sister, not a single boy would bother her because Zhu Yue was always there for her little sister.
Xin Fai ducked at Zhu Yue's wailing, the man hugged his sister tightly. It seems like he is facing the past. This fire, the meaning of the cry of loss and also the scars of revenge that never healed.
"Oh no... The Blood Devil Man has already passed! I'll kill them all!"
"Control yourself, Vice Zhu."
"How can I calm down, Chief! They took my sister and my grandmother! They took everything, and you don't know what it's like!"
"I felt it first."
Zhu Yue was stunned, tears filled her eyes and simply flowed. He gathered in front of the little girl who was only 11 years old, black in the fire, the little girl died from lack of oxygen.
Xin Fai chose to leave to let Zhu Yue calm down by herself, the state of the village had already been shattered. Fortunately the remaining residents could still be saved by the Holy Sword Alliance, they set up makeshift tents and saved some of the injured.
Wood has become ash, Xin Fai moves troops through the homes of residents who have been burned to bury victims in it, the bodies are not good left alone. They immediately gathered the bodies in one place.
While the Sacred Sword Alliance was still busy helping, Zhu Yue sat alone on the steps of the house contemplating in silence. He was aware of Xin Fai's presence and did not say hello at all as usual.
Xin Fai patted Zhu Yue's shoulder slowly. "Everybody has regrets, which is different just how we deal with them."
"What about you?"
"I used that regret to strengthen myself" he said slowly, looking up at the late afternoon sky and the immigrant birds who were busy looking for a new home.
"I don't want to see others feel the same regret, with that I want to be strong."
Although still mourning Zhu Yue could still stand firmly, she walked towards the tomb of her newly created sister and grandmother. Nearly hundreds of survivors mourned at the site, with mass funerals performed in a bad mood. Cloud overcast with the afternoon wind blowing hard open the cloths that cover the bodies.
Zhu Yue cried as she looked at her sister's face which was visible behind the white cloth, in vain had she been guarding it all this time. The man tried his hardest not to grieve any longer, he looked away afterwards.
The mourning is over, and on the night the Holy Sword Alliance is welcome to sleep in the homes of unburned citizens. Although they had to be narrowed, they had no other choice.
While Zhu Yue and Xin Fai were sitting near the bonfire, just staring at the old flames without any meaningful chatter. Just opening her mouth to talk Zhu Yue had gotten up from her place and walked towards the house.
Xin Fai understood his attitude, anyone who felt a sense of loss would definitely be very sensitive. He had no intention of chatting anymore and just turned to stare at the bonfire to sleep.
The next morning the situation was made chaotic by one member of the Sacred Sword Alliance, he admitted not seeing Zhu Yue since this morning and found her nowhere. Xin Fai was awakened by the noise, when realizing that something bad might have happened they immediately rushed to find Zhu Yue.
One man held back their departure for a moment making the others stop in a feeling of worry as well as anxiety, the water of fear plastered clearly on the old face while speaking.
"If you guys are looking for Zhu Yue, it is likely that he is around the statue of Qiang Jun. There the enemies built a small headquarters..." Soon his face turned full of regret. "I'm sorry, I told him about the base. Maybe he left because of me..."
"Don't worry too much, we'll find Zhu Yue as soon as possible." Xin Fai spoke, she whistled a little calling her horse in the distance. The black colored horse shrieked and galloped towards him.
"Let's go!"
As twenty people left with Xin Fai to look for Zhu Yue's whereabouts, the others stayed behind to ensure the safety of the people as well as help repair some of the houses that were still worth using.
Troops arrived at a large road connected to the bridge, dozens of bodies lying on the rocks of the lake below. Xin Fai's eyes glanced straight ahead and found Zhu Yue dueling five-on-one there.
Straight away without thinking for long the Sacred Sword Alliance intervened helping Zhu Yue, that one-sided battle was easily won over them. It was a bit surprised that Xin Fai saw the number of enemies that Zhu Yue had defeated, maybe the number could touch 50 people.
"Alright, you're the first person to get a prize in our group."
"I don't care about that, Chairman Xin. I just want to kill them all!" Zhu Yue brandished her sword in the air, but her right leg throbbing with a stab wound made the man collapse instantly.
Xin Fai propped up his body while gazing forward, visible a small headquarters that was only protected by 2 small towers and four medium-sized warriors.
"Rest, the rest let me take care of it."
Zhu Yue did not dare to argue any further, the face of the leader of the Sacred Sword Alliance had now turned even more serious. The sinful humans inside the base there would be completely unforgivable, killing them all was the best move to reduce the future casualties. The devil is still the devil. Forgiving them only delays bigger problems from coming to the fore.
Xin Fai pulled the tip of the arrow in his hand, aiming right at the head of the enemy who was in the headquarters tower. In high speed the arrow pierced the enemy's head up there. The power of the not-so-great arrow power kept the man's body from falling to the ground, leaving the other enemies unaware of their existence.
The fate of the other tower guard is also the same, he died without knowing who took his life. After killing the tower guards the forces of the Sacred Sword Alliance moved blatantly to eradicate the enemy.
As soon as the war was inevitable, the slaughter was fierce between the two opposing camps. The sound of sword creaks continued unceasingly in their midst.
Xin Fai drew his sword from the heart of the enemy, he intended to eliminate the two people behind him before a heavy voice greeted not far from him.
"It turns out you're an adult, we're reunited today."
