Ch. 236 - The Hell Fire Chain
There was a bit of disagreement among the members, Zhu Yue initially did not agree too much with this decision but while thinking even longer she also could not let everyone in this village die a miserable death at the hands of the Blood Devil Man.
Had he been in the position of the inhabitants of course he would have expected help from the warriors. That's how they feel right now.
Xin Fai did not want to join in the dispute and she simply let her members argue to the point of dizziness herself. The young man turned to look at the oil barrels around the residential area and the number was quite adequate.
Thinking of something by him in that second, Xin Fai asked the owner of the house and he said the oil barrel was not very used for now.
"Can I wear it? I guess with this we could easily kill them."
The proposal was approved by the owner of the oil barrel, whatever Xin Fai's goal he believed was to protect the village.
The night arrived faster as they had to make preparations at the village border. Xin Fai focused his attention on the surroundings and realized there were a lot of food supplies and other high-value clothing. If the Blood Devil Man came, it was likely that they would burn all of this to the point of not being left alone.
"We can't let them touch this village anyhow."
Zhu Yue nodded slowly. "Preparation has been completed, members have stood in the position of each Chairman."
"Tell them not to let their guard down, the enemy could have come earlier than we thought."
Meanwhile the entire population was successfully evacuated at one point protected by the twenty Sacred Sword Alliance, while the rest scattered all over to be able to ascertain where the enemy would come from. The sky was still so dark as it was about to enter dawn, the sunlight began to be seen behind the high mountain. The village archers prepared on the roofs of the houses while looking carefully around.
Up ahead were oil barrels arranged in rows on the vast prairie, Xin Fai was still preparing with his arrow. He stood in one of the tall houses and twisted his gaze several times.
Not so long from the distance his ears could catch the sound of the clattering of feet heard so much entering the connecting path between the villages, he raised his arrow and whistled telling the others that the enemy had come.
As the strategy had been drawn up overnight, ten people advanced with swords following hundreds of enemies in the meadow.
The black stream warriors paid little attention to the pile of items in the field and thought it was just trash. Some of the archers among them were already aware of many who were using long-range attacks using arrows. They immediately attacked from a distance killing the archers on the rooftops of residential residents.
The Demonic Blood Man started moving faster, the sword had been pulled from its place and now the ten people of the Sacred Sword Alliance retreated when they felt that the enemy had entered a trap.
Next Xin Fai pulled out his fiery arrow, it shot down towards the oil barrels and blew up the hordes of enemies that were passing nearby. The explosive power produced by fifteen barrels of oil at once was enormous, even dozens of the number of enemies died instantly in one explosion.
After using the arrows of almost all of the Sacred Sword Alliance advanced while the enemy entourage was split apart, the actual battle had begun in the morning blind. Several alliance members stood guard at the evacuation site to avoid any casualties.
Because innocent residents often become victims at the hands of Blood Devil Man. They kill for power and money.
The action of the fight became more and more one-sided, the enemy began to control the battlefield by using bird stealth. Some great archers attacked at the safest point, no one could reach them while in the air.
One by one the warriors of the alliance were stuck by the arrows, some were even hard-pressed to get up. Severe injuries from attacks from above left them powerless in ground combat. Especially at one time having to face two to four people at once.
The alliance leader did not stay silent aware of this precarious situation, he pulled the sword from his enemy's body making blood gush over the robe. Xin Fai concentrated the spirit energy in one breath making it float in the air.
There was no sense of security after all these years of fighting only in the back row, in every fight as much as possible they avoided the enemy archers by attacking only from a distance.
But today a swordsman caught up with them without using any stealth, his eight necks were cut off and fell scattering in the meadow. Bird demons are not the same as the fate of their owners, flying stealth feathers make others look up.
Not only the enemy, the alliance partners were no different from being surprised by them. Seeing Xin Fai being able to float in the air for the first time frightened them, Yong Tao himself never told the true strength of this next Imperial Pillar title owner.
"This Chairman Xin... How good is he actually...?"
"You forget that he alone can even slaughter hundreds of people in one night, I think we only see half of his original strength." Other leaders argue.
"Whatever that's the reason I want to be recognized by people like him, quickly settle the sneaks in this place!"
The archers had fallen now it was time for the alliance to move fully, they were cutting down on the increasingly rampant enemy about to enter the village gate.
Xin Fai was still faced with a bird stealth figure whose body was much larger, his skin thick impenetrable by the sword. He could guess that demon was one of the strongest demon demons possessed by the Blood Demon Man.
Recovering his strength Xin Fai retreated momentarily from the bird demon, he took an arrow and fired it several times but it was still useless. In the fourth shot of the bird's stealthy eyes stuck in the arrows, Xin Fai capitalized on the momentum by jumping high above it and stuck the sword straight through to the bottom.
With his demonic powers the bird's stealth skin was conquered, his head pierced through the blade of the sword all the way to the ground. Xin Fai had just finished getting the demon gems from his body just before realizing the village gate had successfully broken into the enemy.
"Comebody! They entered the village!"
"Halang them or the residents will be affected!"
"Don't let them in!"
The cry was heard many times in the surroundings, while the others did not have enough time to defend the gate that had been broken. The three warriors guarding him suffered burns and were still trying to stand up straight against the enemy's path.
One of the enemies managed to climb into the village with the demon flame torch in his hand, he smiled obliquely intending to burn this entire village with its contents.
"How many villages have we managed to drop, soon this Empire will belong to all of us." he muttered.
"Tell that to your own group!"
A young man right in front of the gate, a reddish dark aura surrounding the surroundings made the atmosphere gripping in silence. Eve seemed to growl making anyone shudder in horror when he saw the young man raised his face.
"The Forbidden Book - The Hell Fire Chain!"
