Ch. 173 - Find out Who Killed Him!
The news of the massive massacre in Sanmin city flowed like river water, it reached the ears of the Qin Emperor who was sitting idly conferring with the remaining Imperial Pillars. He listened to Yong Tao's proposal of quelling the movements of the Demonic Blood Man by forming a special alliance that moved directly under the Empire but the biggest problem was appointing who the alliance's leader was.
While the number one Yong Tao could only help with a little advice, the healer said he should stop fighting for at least another year to heal these wounds.
"I think Yang Guifei can be the leader for now, seeing his hard work to rise to number five his struggle is worth counting." Yong Tao's suggestion yet someone reproached.
"But I'm not sure he can perform this task to the maximum, we should at least look for a replacement number two who has been empty for years..." The advisor gave his opinion which seemed to be approved by everyone in the room.
The atmosphere began to be quiet with those who dissolved in their minds, not a single word came out in that one minute.
The situation out there is not good at all and it even gets worse when they have made every effort to turn things around. The Blood Demon Man himself was getting stronger and it felt like the group was endless despite being killed.
"All we need right now is a huge force to fight them..." Yong Tao seemed to regret when he said it, his mind was watching until he remembered a little boy who had great power. Actually with that power he was sure that he could kill all the Blood Devil Humans that had taken root in the Shang Empire but that hope was lost considering that the boy had now exhausted his life when going towards the Mist Forest.
Someone knocked on the door, seeing a bodyguard kneeling there about to give a report. Yong Tao allowed him to speak and prepared to receive the bad news that would later always be heard in his ears.
"Report, Sanmin's headquarters has fallen and the group sent back is safe."
Yong Tao frowned listening to the report, he looked puzzled. "Nobody was killed on our side?"
"Nothing."
"How come? I've already told the higher-ups there are Blood Devil Humans there, and also their army is around 500 people! Are you kidding me?"
"One more bodyguard kneeled to testify. "The squad that Senior Xiang brought back with him also returned unharmed. He'll be here any minute."
Before long Xiang Yu walked in the hallway along with his better looking gaze before going to the battlefield.
Xiang Yu faced Yong Tao and Emperor Qin who were deliberating. "Sanmin's headquarters has fallen and the area's managed us to recapture from them."
"I want to listen to the explanation of why you can come back so soon, Xiang Yu."
Qin Gaozu's statement directly Xiang Yu replied based on what he saw last night.
"When I arrived at their base the situation was broken, corpses piled up and pools of blood filled the place. At first we thought the other sects had moved to eradicate them but we didn't see a group of people coming there..."
Xiang Yu took a deep breath to continue his words.
"We only found one person who had slaughtered five hundred Blood Devil Humans that night."
Yong Tao stood up from his chair. But not a word came out of his mouth.
"And he said that he was not of black or white origin."
Emperor Qin issued his opinion. "That means we have the possibility to ask him to join our side?"
The number one Yong Tao doubted that word. "Do you know his name? Or at least the reason why he did it all? Couldn't he be from a dangerous group?"
"He just said kill who deserves to be killed, I think he's a traveller. That's all I can conclude, Senior Yong."
No one dared to make a sound after Xiang Yu replied. The other Imperial Pillars deliberated on each other's premises until they finally came to a unanimous decision.
"Alright I will immediately recruit members for the group we just discussed." The other Imperial Pillars spoke up and allowed the parting to instantly move, slowly one by one the people in the place dispersed with their respective duties while the Qin Emperor, was, after all, disbanding, Xiang Yu and Yong Tao were still in place.
"I'm the one who's gonna step in and find that guy."
Yong Tao's words made Emperor Qin furrow his brows. "Can't be, you have to stay here for the sake of your wound care." He did not approve of the man's words.
"I'll keep going to make sure of it myself. The man you call so dangerous I think that if he refuses to join us then our fate will be the same as the people he has chained."

Meanwhile at the other headquarters Liu Fengying who had just woken up found one report so bad, he could not take that for granted and insisted on going to see his beloved son who was said to be dead.
"Where can it be! I've given him all the resources and great power! There's no way he can..." The man's tears just came out without him being able to hold back. He tried to leave his bed before one of the higher-ups entered the room with several other important people.
"I've confirmed the news, Chairman and go straight to his place." For a moment his expression turned moody, he looked afraid to tell what he had seen.
The high-ranking hand moved and six people who were transporting the crate entered, Liu Fengying got up immediately and opened the chest.
His eyes became sad when he saw his only son had turned into a pale white corpse. He stroked his son's face gently yet a few seconds later his gaze was burned by the flames of such a deep grudge.
"Tell me who hurt him?" snarl.
"The identity of the person is still not found but we as much as possible–"
Brakk!
"Very not very clever! If it wasn't me who intervened it would always be bad! You guys don't know how important Yun'er is for the future of our group!?"
The nearby candle lights were thrown to shatter colliding with the floor, Liu Fengying's eyes gleaming with emotion. He killed the people around him for no reason until his room was now filled with blood.
"Find it..."
The higher-ups who were before him could only gulp as Liu Fengying walked slowly towards him.
"Find the man who killed my son or I'll kill you."
