Xin Fai had just changed her clothes when a knock on the door sounded soft, Li Yong called out to her from outside.
"Are you ready? We must leave this city immediately" Li Yong suggested. Xin Fai opened the door of the room and looked different from the previous one.
"Ep... Senior, I think this outfit is too much." Xin Fai complained, she was not comfortable with the clothes Li Yong bought. Occasionally Xin Fai corrected her clothes and felt stifled. My shirt feels so much better than the one he is wearing now.
The red robe that had a hood became Xin Fai's outer clothes, while the clothes inside had a bright golden color that made her like a noble due to the beautiful carvings inside. This appearance of his instead of making him relieved, was even more striking than the others.
"Have it, don't doubt Fai'er's taste. I'm sure after this you'll be the coolest guy in the world."
The smile on Xin Fai's face turned bitter when she heard Li Yong laugh at her.
After gathering in front of the inn the group again moved under the lead of Li Yong, in that scorching afternoon Huang Kun did not complain at all like before due to running fatigue.
During the break, Huang Kun refused to sit down for a while. He was always looking for solitude and practice for hours.
Xin Fai was worried for his Senior, and this made him follow immediately when Huang Kun went alone into the forest.
Huang Kun plunged the sword into the tree, he concentrated on gathering energy within and draining it to sharpen the sword eye.
Huang Kun was training hard, sweaty droplets dripping from his chin yet he simply did not want to stop slashing.
"I must grow stronger!"
The tree in front of him was cut off again, despite having done so many times but Huang Kun had thought of himself as nothing more than an ordinary man who was cutting down a tree.
"Pathetic... My strength is very pitiful," Huang Kun muttered stopped with a disjointed breath.
Suddenly a flat voice came out from the tree behind him.
"How can you cut down that tree, while the inner energy you put out is wasted?"
Huang Kun turned his body backwards.
"You?! What are you doing here?" Huang Kun was honestly ashamed of his practice being watched by others, let alone by Shen Xuemei whose strength was above him.
"Watching you."
Huang Kun corrected his question. "I mean, why are you watching my rehearsals?"
"You ask me when he doesn't." The young man's ears pointed towards the tree next to him, Xin Fai was hanging there upside down.
"Fai'er? You're here too?"
Xin Fai descended quietly, she approached Huang Kun with slow steps.
"Senior, you don't need such desperate training to protect me from the hit men" he said.
A second after Huang Kun's hand scratched his ear, he was grinning as usual. "It's okay. Although I can't help much, but at least I don't want to be the most useless person when you're in trouble."
Xin Fai departed from the waist while exclaiming. "Then let's practice! We must be strong from the strongest!"
"Yoh!"
"Let's fight with me, Huang Kun."
Huang Kun briefly thought for a moment, he accepted it full of joy. By doing the same, Huang Kun had now stood not far from before Shen Xuemei with a sword in his hand.
"I won't hold myself back."
After saying that Huang Kun immediately attacked Shen Xuemei, he relied on all means to show his abilities.
"No, not like that. Senior should have read the situation before attacking..."
Xin Fai muttered at the side by propping up his chin using a hand. He thought Huang Kun had taken a rash step and easily Shen Xuemei had made an attack.
Huang Kun leaped backwards before Shen Xuemei fully moved, he stared at Xin Fai for a moment.
"I'll take all the advice from you, please help!"
Shen Xuemei nodded slowly followed by Xin Fai who shouted in encouragement. "Alright, senior spirit Huang! After this will be many reot grannies who fall in love with you!"
There was a burst of laughter directed at him. Xin Fai laughed until her stomach felt swirling.
"Fai'er, don't tease me! Just wait for my revenge!" huang Kun growled again seriously to face Shen Xuemei.
Shen Xuemei was instrumental in welcoming Huang Kun's movements and for the matter of Xin Fai's sword technique that would give his direction.
For Huang Kun himself he didn't mind being taught by someone younger than him, himself before that had also trained with Xin Fai and lost to him. After all, with this he was confident his strength would expand.
"Your concentration is still often divided, Senior. That's what makes the sword in your hand not so sharp, when the power flows deeply into your sword, it's the power in it is split and not focused at one point."
Huang Kun nodded his head, he again faced Shen Xuemei.
This time Shen Xuemei spoke. "Don't look at the next part you're going to attack, people will easily read your movements."
Huang Kun nodded again, he swung the sword even more nimbly. This time the tempo he played was very fast and not easy to guess.
Yet Shen Xuemei still remained no less than him, Huang Kun's sword fell down when it was fended off so strongly.
At that moment Li Yong came.
"Ah, is training? Am I bothering you?" Li Yong said kindly as always.
The three stopped for a while and then saluted. "No Senior."
"Alright, I will accompany your training here just in case." Li Yong sat on the grass after him, while Huang Kun looked back at Shen Xuemei.
"Oh, I want to sit down too. You just practice with Xin Fai."
Huang Kun opened his mouth, he had not expected that the young man would leave him in the midst of a training like this. Though Shen Xuemei was the one who had invited him to fight. Shen Xuemei was indeed a human without a heart.
"Oh, okay. Fai'er don't you mind?"
"By pleasure, Senior."
