The Devil Sword Swordsman

The Devil Sword Swordsman
Ch. 253 - Black Cloud

Lan An retreated for a moment. Though he was a year older than Xin Fai but the young man was much more ingenious, his thoughts were sharp as knives plus his fighting experience was more.

"Where do I know the part that he won't protect?"

"If you attack his leg he'll protect it straight away, the only way is to deflect the attack to the head."

Lan An nodded softly for a moment, she started to emit a deep energy as well as a fighting aura that was strong enough to shake the opponent. But the tiger was not affected at all, he was not afraid of humans at all because it was smaller in size than his own people.

Lan An's steps passed so quickly that the street dust flew on the ground she was treading. He aimed his sword eyes at the tiger's eyes, the attack being responded with an extremely powerful claw slash.

Another centimeter of the sword eye would meet with its claws at that moment Lan An deflected the direction of the sword attack downward and in one breath managed to tear the chest up to the neck of his opponent.

The tiger retreated a few steps in fear, he turned around and immediately left just leaving them. Including the other one that has lost its fangs and claws.

Xin Fai frowned in seeing that the tiger had not moved from its place at all, he tried to get closer making the ferocious beast retreat carefully.

"Just relax I won't hurt you again." His hand managed to reach the head of the tiger, making it growl indistinctly. Between anger and fear, but moments later she realized Xin Fai had absolutely no intention of killing her.

"I'm sorry I took your claws and fangs. Living in the forest without those two things would have been very difficult." he said he felt sorry, he should have just killed him earlier.

Xin Fai stroked his head again hoping that the tiger would be slightly amused, although not human but clearly visible in his eyes the tiger was missing something precious. His nails that had been bleeding he was tattooed for a while.

Unwilling to waste more time Xin Fai immediately let go of her hand. He turned his head towards Lan An who nodded slowly. It was still early morning and they had to hurry around this village before nightfall.

But when they stepped the tiger behind them followed slowly. Xin Fai turned her body around with a small smile, as did Lan An.

"We're adding one brave one to it."

The sky turned dark, the atmosphere was so gripping that the two young men were mentally distressed to such an extent. Eve evil spirits like infiltrating behind a destroyed board house. The plants moved silently. The noise from the forest with tall trees echoed.

Lan An circled around the surroundings, the overcast sky signifying it would rain in a moment. He looked at Xin Fai alternately as if asking for his opinion.

"It looks like we should spend the night here." so he said, Lan An glared for a moment.

"Little sister, why are your eyes flushed?"

"Huh?" Xin Fai held her eyes slowly, she had already noticed Lan's eyes "I guess you're the only one who sleeps less all night, it turns out my eyes are the same."

Lan An looked at the tiger next to Xin Fai, she was completely unaffected by the evil energy they had felt since ten hours ago. It was only fitting that while fighting him the footsteps of the ferocious beasts were lighter, other than the mysterious power humans protecting this village would not affect anything.

"Don't tell me something bad is coming when night falls..." Lan An rubbed her body in fear, she shook her head feeling her nape begin to cool down. Imagining things like ghosts or the spirits of serial killers who come to them alone he can no longer.

"I have the same feeling. They'll come by nightfall."

"Where do you know about that?"

"People say the missing visitors here died at night. Standing up or eyes open."

"That's the point of hanging out with people."

Lan An chuckled annoyed that now that her sentence was reversed by Xin Fai, she had said that before.

A house that most likely used to be a tavern became a place for them to shelter, Xin Fai sat on a round chair made of stone while staring at the thick clouds that were marching towards Guangfu village. Under the cloud scroll was lightning as if chains, preparing to show its ferocity when it arrived at their place.

Five minutes later as had been expected the black clouds gathered above them along with a fierce lightning leap. The earth was shaking violently, on one side Lan An chose to enter the store unable to see the lightning outside which was very strong. On the other side Xin Fai and the tiger sat in front, waiting for the sky to be completely black.

The gaze of Xin Fai's eyes never escaped the lightning that continued to strike, she flinched a little as Lan An patted her on the shoulder all of a sudden.

"I saw a ghost! Really ghost! He's behind this house!" His voice was so frightened, it screamed like the sound of a male duck.

Xin Fai got up to get rid of the shabby fabrics that covered the kitchen of the house and in front of it the back door had opened. The strong wind made the dilapidated door creak strongly, its voice was very disturbing. Until in the darkness of the night a dark shadow appeared and passed just like that in front of them.

"What I said!" Lan An again could not control herself, she hid behind the pillars of the house. His back was shivering and realized there was something behind him.

"Behind you." Xin Fai said softly, Lan An held her breath as she straightened her back in panic. He did not dare to look back, honestly he was not prepared if required to address the face of a ghost that was crushed to blood.

"Can you handle for a second something behind me?"

"Unfortunately I can't, he... We can't fight at all" Xin Fai said as if hopeless. Lan An's breathing was again choked by the sound of footsteps behind her. In his heart he could only hope that his back was still fine after this.

"How's it looking? Is he going to attack me?"

"I guarantee a hundred percent if you don't bother him he won't attack you. And... He has no teeth."

Most likely the ghost behind it suffered a death so terrible that it did not have teeth. Lan An could imagine a bloody torn mouth with a rotten face filled with caterpillars. He wanted to scream that second too.

"You really don't want to get rid of him from behind me?"

"You see who's behind you, what's that fear?"

Lan An took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He was still mentally prepared for a few minutes until finally decided to look at the figure behind him.

Lan An's eyes glared strongly. "Xin Fai! You're scaring me!" he said when he found only a tiger behind him, looking left right like he felt something.

"But this time it seems real."

"What?" Lan An could not see the surroundings at all because they had no illumination at all.

"Behind that closet, did you see it?"
