Ch. 252 - The Unexpected Part
The forces of the Sacred Sword Alliance were driven towards the Guangfu Village located, it only took three hours of travel to get to that place. Rou Han said he could not drive them on busy grounds or that he might have avoided the haunted village. Only his men escorted them, the look on his face could not be said to be good at all. Along the way he muttered like he was praying.
Arriving at a gate with a support pole that looks like two priests with large robes are standing before them, they briefly talk to Rou Han's men while issuing a letter. Although it was a bit heavy letting Lan An and Xin Fai go inside but they had other options.
Meanwhile the alliance members waited not far from them, while Lan An and Xin Fai were in danger they would make long-distance communication using firecrackers.
Zhu Yue looked like she wanted to catch up with the two, she only knew that only Lan An and Xin Fai had entered since last night the young man who was the alliance leader said so. Zhu Yue wanted to come along to make sure the two people were safe, but on the other hand she herself was not sure what would be useful if she went there.

Xin Fai took over attacking the beast, but soon the other tiger also attacked.
Lan An held back the claws of the huge tiger using his sword causing a deafening shrill sound. He fought with the beast afterwards, several times having to retreat because the range of his claws was too wide. One second late avoid the skin can be torn very deep.

"I'm done, how about you?" he asked Lan An, his interlocutor replied in a heavy tone like he was trying to hold something back.
"Wait a minute longer–" Finally after a long battle of strength with his opponent Lan An could break away, he struck the sword with a quick movement but his opponent still could dodge. He even made a move first before Lan An finished his attack.
The young man fell silent. He still did not understand how this tiger was much smarter than ordinary beasts.
"The tiger moved following his instincts," Xin Fai said pointing at Lan An later. "In the beginning you can beat him, right?"
Lan An no longer understood why Xin Fai could figure it out when she was sure the young man himself did not have time to observe his fight.
"The same attack pattern would have no effect on the tiger, he moved following instinct. His fighting experience was far more than ours, so he had unconsciously memorized your moves."
As Lan An watched the tiger wake up to something, she felt Xin Fai was right. Didn't ask how he could find out because he already knew that Xin Fai's life path was much harder than his.
Lan An raised a weapon with a sharp eye. He walked slowly and faster as he almost met the enemy, moving his sword from top to bottom as Lan An tried to find an opening to attack.
For a moment he realized the stomach of the tiger could be attacked easily.
Xin Fai corrected him from a distance. "Before you realize that gap, the tiger already noticed it. Attack her from unexpected parts."
