The Devil Sword Swordsman

The Devil Sword Swordsman
Ch. 252 - The Unexpected Part

The forces of the Sacred Sword Alliance were driven towards the Guangfu Village located, it only took three hours of travel to get to that place. Rou Han said he could not drive them on busy grounds or that he might have avoided the haunted village. Only his men escorted them, the look on his face could not be said to be good at all. Along the way he muttered like he was praying.

Arriving at a gate with a support pole that looks like two priests with large robes are standing before them, they briefly talk to Rou Han's men while issuing a letter. Although it was a bit heavy letting Lan An and Xin Fai go inside but they had other options.

Meanwhile the alliance members waited not far from them, while Lan An and Xin Fai were in danger they would make long-distance communication using firecrackers.

Zhu Yue looked like she wanted to catch up with the two, she only knew that only Lan An and Xin Fai had entered since last night the young man who was the alliance leader said so. Zhu Yue wanted to come along to make sure the two people were safe, but on the other hand she herself was not sure what would be useful if she went there.

Xin Fai walked ahead of Lan An, the first second to climb the ground in des Guangfu the only thing he got was such powerful evil energy. Making his shoulders like a big stone, his mind could not focus all the way.

The sight of a village that had been abandoned for decades appeared before them, the collapsed wood was gnawed by termites. The sound of the forest bird was clearly heard because not a single activity was heard, making the slightest sound could be heard very clearly.

Only skeletons of human bones that had been decades old were seen there, as well as some rather new looking bodies that might have only been killed a few months ago. Xin Fai could guess they were the ones who tried to secretly enter this village. Searching for the hidden treasures that were stored, some might have already realized there was one great heirloom object that caused the magnitude of the evil energy in this place, the Demonic Human Sword. Sky heirloom sword with unequaled power.

Just guessing that the Celestial Emperor Sword was also with that sword, Xin Fai could not confirm it by a hundred percent. Unknowingly his steps have increasingly entered into the part of the place that began to rarely seen housing. Only dirty wells were visible there and weeds flourished.

The news of the inhabitants dying with their own eyes could not be ascertained true or not, but seeing how the position of these skeletons lay made him realize they died in a state of self-control, he said, it can be possessed or completely unable to control yourself.

As Xin Fai reasoned the circumstances surrounding Lan An focused on a single point, he glanced from the corner of his eyes and realized this place was inhabited by many ferocious beasts. Some are wild tigers. The forest monkeys perched on top of the trees, shouting as if to drive the two walking humans away from their territory immediately.

In the next split second something Lan An was worried about actually happened, two large body-sized tigers approached them. Walk slowly around them while putting on a watchful face.

Xin Fai realized that now that they were under threat, she might be used to this kind of beast but not to Lan An. The young man spent many years on the battlefield against his fellow humans. When the tiger that was in front of Lan An roared, Xin Fai immediately stood guard. He pulled the sword quickly, waiting for the beast to jump.

Xin Fai took over attacking the beast, but soon the other tiger also attacked.

Lan An held back the claws of the huge tiger using his sword causing a deafening shrill sound. He fought with the beast afterwards, several times having to retreat because the range of his claws was too wide. One second late avoid the skin can be torn very deep.

Lan An let out a tread attack while in the air, the tiger was hit in the head and immediately roared. Like showing his anger. Unexpectedly Lan An had made the tiger even more dangerous than before, he pounced continuously without giving it any breathing space.

The tiger that was the opponent of Xin Fai roared loudly, according to the young man himself who was the most threatening when fighting with this beast was his fangs and claws. Now that he had lost his claws, Xin Fai targeted his fangs afterwards.

A slight deceptive move he made, the young man twisted his body axis and now directly faced towards the tiger. He smiled at a glance. "Don't cry if I take that fang of your pride!"

Sure enough, the tiger had already opened its mouth wide and the sword just entered there. He made his mouth torn and now his two fangs had fallen to the ground. Xin Fai picked it up for a while then looked at his opponent in turn.

"I'm done, how about you?" he asked Lan An, his interlocutor replied in a heavy tone like he was trying to hold something back.

"Wait a minute longer–" Finally after a long battle of strength with his opponent Lan An could break away, he struck the sword with a quick movement but his opponent still could dodge. He even made a move first before Lan An finished his attack.

The young man fell silent. He still did not understand how this tiger was much smarter than ordinary beasts.

"The tiger moved following his instincts," Xin Fai said pointing at Lan An later. "In the beginning you can beat him, right?"

Lan An no longer understood why Xin Fai could figure it out when she was sure the young man himself did not have time to observe his fight.

"The same attack pattern would have no effect on the tiger, he moved following instinct. His fighting experience was far more than ours, so he had unconsciously memorized your moves."

As Lan An watched the tiger wake up to something, she felt Xin Fai was right. Didn't ask how he could find out because he already knew that Xin Fai's life path was much harder than his.

Lan An raised a weapon with a sharp eye. He walked slowly and faster as he almost met the enemy, moving his sword from top to bottom as Lan An tried to find an opening to attack.

For a moment he realized the stomach of the tiger could be attacked easily.

Xin Fai corrected him from a distance. "Before you realize that gap, the tiger already noticed it. Attack her from unexpected parts."
