Ch. 46 - Demon King Rat
Xin Fai turned her gaze around and realized the number of mice was already much less than before making her more free to move.
On one side of the demon rat king who was his opponent giving off such a dangerous red aura, Xin Fai was forced to retreat a few steps trying to make sense of the situation so as not to be fatal. Because his opponent this time is much stronger than the dragonfly demon or crab demon he has ever faced.
"What aura is around that demon body?" Xin Fai asked Kaibo, the old man stroking his beard while thinking. His eyes stared intently at the stealthy body in front of him which was shrouded in a red aura full of threat.
"That is a demon aura, if your serigalamu has a golden light then its demon aura is also golden. The mouse is red."
"Is there a difference between them? I mean, the difference in strength?"
"There is no particular difference. It's just that you need to be careful with the aura, besides slowing down your movements it can also affect your mind" Kaibo explained. Xin Fai nodded his head after feeling understood then raised his sword.
After thinking about many things Xin Fai finally moved from her place, but this time towards Lang left Kaibo confused by the child's plan.
Xin Fai scratched the contents of the bag on Lang's back, then left just like that. Actually Lang was offended by the contents of the bag was puber-uber by Xin Fai considering that the bag is now a valuable item for Lang.
Jumping as high as possible, Xin Fai managed to equalize his distance with the head of the mouse demon, he raised the sword up high and the demon struck him with claws.
But while trying to catch Xin Fai the demon was made dumbstruck by pepper powder mixed with pepper that was thrown attacking towards his eyes.
The demon yelled covering his eyes and nose, in front of him Xin Fai smiled mockingly.
"You know, not once or twice have I faced a rat. In my house, your presence made me so sick. And of course from all that I know the weakness of rats like you."
Because the demon's sense of sight and smell did not work as well as before, the creature screamed and smashed its body in all directions violently. Xin Fai dodged while leaping high above the demon's body.
"The Book of Seven Keys - The Half Moon of the Circle!"
The sickle-shaped golden light hit the head of the mouse demon very hard. The light lingered in the air for a few seconds stunned Kaibo, he almost forgot to even catch his breath.
Although it had attacked several times with the same style Xin Fai still felt the inefficient way to kill the demon. He backed out again putting up his next plan.
While sprinkling pepper in all directions Xin Fai approached the group of spirits that were still swaying. He absorbed a bit of spirit energy that came out, and the rest was natural energy. The sword he was holding was now not entirely gold anymore. Many colors joined his sword.
With a Light Step Xin Fai again landed on top of the mouse stealth head and stuck his sword there.
"The Book of Seven Keys - The Path of a Thousand Spirits!"
The head of the rat demon split open, its body completely motionless indicating that the demon had been killed. After feeling safe Xin Fai was finally able to catch his breath, despite using all his profound energy he felt no remorse after successfully killing his opponent.
Xin Fai's body staggered as she tried to keep her distance, she turned around and walked using the rest of her strength.
With a disjointed breath Xin Fai approached towards Kaibo before Lang's cry echoed.
"Revelation! Behind you!"
Not yet had time to look behind him Xin Fai had been pounced on by the rat demon king, lucky that his body was small enough to be able to roll away from the reach of the demon.
Unexpectedly the mouse's stealth body had returned to its original form without the slightest scar. Xin Fai clenched her teeth in annoyance as well as being afraid of not having any residual inner strength anymore.
"This smile is still alive after I destroyed his brain even?!"
The rat demon was about to claw at Xin Fai again before the silent Lang came to intervene. Kaibo did not ban him anymore because he felt the situation was starting to get worse.
The fight between Lang and the rat king demon was fierce, many trees were knocked down by the massive power attack they unleashed. Lang let out a golden light on his body while the demon rat king was increasingly vigorously flaunting his stealth aura.
Though apparently unharmed, Kaibo learns that the rat has used the rest of its internal energy to heal the wound.
Every attack that Xin Fai produced drained a large amount of his energy. For the demon seemed to be dealing with a small child in a balanced state of course made the mouse demon feel annoyed.
The mouse demon looked at Xin Fai with the look of an eye wanting to kill, he did not consider Lang to be his greatest enemy. It was precisely he constantly drew closer towards the little boy to unleash an attack, as he felt Xin Fai was his real enemy.
"Grrah!" Lang pounced with a mighty force, a golden light flew out forming a wind blade. The sprawling rat demon spewed blood and could no longer recover its wounds.
As if not giving the mouse demon a pause, Lang pounced back at him with a much greater force. The circle of light around him turned into a wind knife then moved quickly piercing the mouse's stealth body.
The mouse demon screamed out so badly, struggling to escape. But one more stab made his life fly away. Lang who had just defeated his enemy roared, his tail bulging here and there.
"Lang was much different if he was sleeping by fighting... Now I'm afraid of him myself." Inner Xin Fai shuddered in horror as she often mocked the wolf. He drew closer to the rat king's demon corpse to search for the demon gems he needed.
