Ch. 65 - Demon Monster II
"GROMAAH!" Lang growled while jumping, his distance to Xin Fai's body was only a few meters away, but the demon lion demon was near the child first.
The lion demon was about to pounce, its claws instantly elongated displaying a row of extremely sharp hooves. Li Yong gripped the handle of the sword furiously as he could not save Xin Fai.
The Devil's own stealth claws are rumored to be able to tear even large swords. So no wonder hundreds of lives have been lost by him in just a short period of time.
Because Lang's distance so far adrift with the lion made the wolf run amok. He ran lightning-fast with a ferocious roar that echoed all over but it did not stop the demon lion demon.
When in one more inch the nail would tear Xin Fai's skin instantly the red light came out with a large scale causing a strong wind. Unexpectedly lightning instantly struck all over without the slightest cloud cloud cloud cloud. Li Yong gulped roughly, he knew the cause of the lightning was from Xin Fai.
"It's too late... Did that Devil first take Xin Fai's body?" Li Yong's shoulder slumped with a blank look, he stopped running. While the lion demon that was about to pounce on Xin Fai stopped being frightened.
The demon demon seemed to have certainly recognized the aura coming out from Xin Fai's body, an aura that was more demonic than all demons. All one could say was that the owner of that monstrous aura was his own Master.
Suddenly all eyes widened staring at the lion demon who was now kneeling respectfully to Xin Fai. Some residents shook their heads in disbelief, they could not answer at all what was going on ahead.
"really great... Making such a powerful demon submit to him... Who's the kid?" murmured Mayor Majia, her mouth even opened.
Lang who was a distance closer to Xin Fai of course saw that the child's eyes on the left had turned blood red.
"What's really going on?" He wanted to hear an explanation immediately from Xin Fai's mouth but the timing was not supportive at all.
A few seconds later, Xin Fai regained consciousness and found her body standing with a demon of the same size as Lang prostrating to her.
"What's–"
All eyes stared at him, Xin Fai's movements gradually stiffened.
The lion demon realized his Master's aura had disappeared from Xin Fai's body, he was about to attack the child again but Lang pounced on him first.
The fight of the two demons caused chaos around him. Some of the houses that were there did not escape destruction, although Lang's strength was still above the demon lion demon but the movement of his enemy was much more terrible. He didn't care if his body was torn apart even if he could kill Lang.
Li Yong did not stay silent, he launched various long-range attacks using his cane. As a result, the demon's powers begin to weaken and Lang manages to kill him with the greatest strength.
Visibly Lang's fur was filled with his own blood, he was injured quite a lot by his enemy. Xin Fai who was still unable to understand the circumstances could only be fixated.
Not yet had time to rest Li Yong immediately say goodbye to the Mayor of Majia who is now grateful to him, the man offered a banquet to him but Li Yong first refused to be refined because there was an important thing to be resolved. He carried Xin Fai then ran as fast as he could using body lightening science.
"Hey what happened?" Xin Fai rambled in confusion as her body was transported like a sack of rice.
Li Yong briefly explained everything that had happened to him, as well as the reason he had to leave as quickly as possible to the Lotus Temple.
Lang had just obtained a demonic gem from his dead enemy. With heavy injuries on his body at least his running speed was somewhat reduced even though it was completely able to compensate the Reverend Li Yong.
"How can you make a demon kneel to you?" Lang immediately asked without further ado. He was really surprised when he saw that.
"I don't know, but before I woke up I met a very terrible monster."
"What do you mean, the demon monster?"
"Senior knew?"
"She was terrible but I owe her my life twice."
Li Yong interrupted. "He's not a monster you can consider your friend. In the past he killed tens of thousands of humans using the bodies of Demon Humans like you too."
The figure that came out of Li Yong's mouth made Xin Fai startled not to be a crossbeam. "Tens of thousands?!"
"Seeing that demon can take your consciousness, and use another dimension to talk to you... That means he has already entered the next stage of awakening."
Li Yong understood Xin Fai completely cluelessly.
He explained calmly despite running at high speed.
"Awakening is divided into six stages, the first of which is when the devil chooses your body to be the container of his resurrection. Then the second diversion, where you will get the mark of the possessor of the Demon Man's body."
The sign Li Yong was referring to was a blackish burn scar on Xin Fai's chest.
"And right now you're in the diversionary stage. Your consciousness has been taken away as much as seven percent by the devil."
"Do you think it's dangerous?"
Li Yong nodded slowly, "if it goes to the next stage that is soul adjustment, then, then slowly you will lose balance in your body and it is not impossible that the devil can take over your body even for a moment."
"In the next stage, the taking of all your consciousness and control of your body is in the hands of Satan, your kindness, empathy, care and humanity will be taken away by him."
Taking a breath for a moment Li Yong resumed his speech. "Then after that, you will enter the stage of destruction. Where your human body will be transformed into a true demonic form. Your brain will be destroyed and your body will be controlled by a perfect demon soul. Indeed at that stage you can still exist on this earth, but only as a spirit. Without being able to take your body back at all."
"And the last one?"
"The last one is the Perfect Devil. The power that rivaled this god was extremely dangerous in the past. He took tens to hundreds of thousands of lives back then. This stage is the peak of the true destruction."
Li Yong slightly emphasized his remarks as all of those things were related to Xin Fai's future going forward.
"With such power... How can humans stop it? It's so absurd..."
"It's not impossible to seal that demon, it takes thousands of honorary great warriors as well as tens of limitless warriors to match its strength, and they all managed to create a demonic sealing divine runic that can now only be learned in our sect."
Xin Fai was silent in silence, she tried to understand one by one the bitter reality, for a moment she felt guilty.
"Why don't you just kill me? Isn't it faster that way?" Xin Fai sounded resigned to her words.
"It's not that easy, even if you have to die, you have to finish off the demon soul in yourself so as not to reappear in the near future, in the sense that you have to fight the demon alone."
Xin Fai wanted to ask something else again but she undoed her intention of already realizing that her body was indeed special. But this special thing invites distress to all mankind.
Li Yong let Xin Fai ponder over it all, he didn't say much after that. With the science of lightening their high level bodies ran day and night without stopping.
