The Devil Sword Swordsman

The Devil Sword Swordsman
Ch. 160 - The Forbidden Book

Without asking much more the Lightning Fox disappeared just a second later, he launched an attack blindly. Just like the Lightning Fox, Xin Fai also did the same. The two fought each other without wanting to budge, the destruction inflicted could not be contained anymore.

The trees collapsed to the ground coupled with the torrent of water so profusely soaking the ground, some ferocious beasts that happened to pass by even instantly died when the flattened disk belonging to the Thunder Fox hit its body. Fortunately Xin Fai had a golden blade protecting his body from the disc, otherwise it was impossible since a few hours ago that he had already lost many limbs.

The Thunder Fox raised its hands up until the moving clouds gathered there, the sound of thunderous thumping resounded successively up there.

"You know, right? A god demon like me can control the sky all I want."

Xin Fai felt the sky above there like he was cursing at her, he chuckled. "If the sky is on your side, I think only the little people are on my side.."

"You really..." The Lightning Fox to the point of losing her mind to answer Xin Fai's statement this time, she no longer knew how to stop him. Just making him faint failed, let alone injuring him. But actually, even the Lightning Fox was unable to injure the young man.

"No need to put on such a hard face, Uncle Fox... This fight is just about to end."

Xin Fai raised the sword which was now just like a stream of golden electricity in his hand, he smiled briefly.

"Did you feel something strange?"

The Lightning Fox hurriedly put on a standby before she realized the golden blades behind her were now guiding Xin Fai's sword as fast as lightning to its back.

The silver eyes of the fox widened then swung towards Xin Fai who was now pulling back his strength, the golden sword that was originally in his hand just disappeared, just like that, The Lightning Fox was certain that the real sword was now behind him all of a sudden.

"You outwitted me, huh?"

"Hehehe is like that the way I fight with an enemy stronger than me."

When Xin Fai unleashed his massive inner power earlier he first hid his sword, which he had, even the leopard and the lake crocodile were unaware of it as it was too focused with the golden light created in its hands. During the fight the Lightning Fox did not realize such a small thing until Xin Fai's sword managed to hit it for a while.

"The rule is that if my sword can hit you, it's me who wins, right?"

"Well... Aye, yes. Really stubborn of you," the Thunder Fox grumbled irritatedly. He saw the leopard and the lake crocodile embracing each other leaving the place. It seemed that they were now giggling at the defeat of the Lightning Fox.

"Both of you!"

The two demons were small jerks.

"Come here!"

Xin Fai no matter what would happen to the two demons, he chose to enter the cave to catch as many electric eels as possible and put them into the space ring for the sake of his supply over the next few months.

The deeper into the cave Xin Fai felt something strange inside there, either his feelings alone or how his body felt the murderous air was so strong. Xin Fai followed the origin of the air for a moment and realized that there was no one in the heart of this cave.

In the silence inside the cave only the sound of Xin Fai's footsteps could be heard, he made sure the situation was safe before approaching the source of the air that had enveloped this place.

A black-red book lay on a solid rock specially designed to place the mysterious book, a shabby white cloth wrapped it neatly.

The cloth lining the book was pulled and as Xin Fai touched the cover she could feel strange letters printed boldly on it.

Xin Fai flipped each page until he felt an awkwardness within. This book is a black-flow martial arts book, maybe its strength is weaker or as strong as the moves that demon monsters put out first.

When his finger touched the book he could feel that some of the pages in the book had been torn away leaving traces of blood on the paper, perhaps this book was once a snatch among warriors even though Xin Fai was unable to ascertain the truth. He continued to turn the page until the voice of the Thunder Fox sounded thunderous.

"What are you doing!?"

Xin Fai gasped in shock for a few seconds before putting the book back where it was.

"Sorry, I'm just curious."

The clattering of the legs of the Lightning Fox sounded echoing despite its small weight, he stared at Xin Fai ferociously. "You must not carelessly open a forbidden book like this. Your life could have been absorbed by him."

Xin Fai nodded slowly preparing to receive the ravings of the Thunder Fox.

When the Thunder Fox was about to hold the book he widened his eyes when he felt the presence of others in this place.

The fox changed his decision. "It seems that this place is no longer safe, you need to get out of here before they find you and bring the book with you."

So easily did the Lightning Fox hand over the forbidden book, Xin Fai tried to retrieve the book. "But didn't you say this book could take a man's life?"

The Lightning Fox immediately replied warily. "The book was created by the leader of a group of humans who controlled the power of the devil. They managed to get half of the contents of this forbidden book back when I was still free to roam."

Soon the Lightning Fox continued, "I don't think this book will eat your life because the devil himself lives in your body, so bring this book and use its power as best you can. Don't let you become a demon as well when using it.." the Lightning Fox's advice became a warning to him himself, Xin Fai recalled kindly the message from him.

Suddenly Xin Fai would recall a past where the near-death Demon Blood Humans would stick their swords on the chest where the scorpion tattoo was located and instantly that person would gain ten powers fold it stronger.

That technique was a high-level sealing science in the group of black streams and also the Demon God Dance style he had seen before likely came from this book as well.

Xin Fai felt that he should indeed take this book with him, he immediately put it into the space ring and paused for a bit in front of the Lightning Fox.

"Thank you for making me a student, Uncle Fox. I promise to get back the gems of your life from the Ice Demon Lord. As long as I'm not back please take care of Lang as best you can."

The Lightning Fox only nodded, yet her gaze was so warm that it looked at Xin Fai. "All right, now you can go. Take care of your health, Faifai..."

The farewell between the two happened so short that Xin Fai finally left from before him.

The Lightning Fox itself immediately moved to kill the humans who had dared to enter this realm of its power. He was sure that the person was the one who was about to look for Xin Fai who had disappeared for several years.
