Ch. 189 - Alliance of the Holy Swords
While Emperor Qin itself is still difficult to determine who will occupy the second position because there is no swordsman whose strength is equivalent to the figure who occupies the position first.
Qin Gaozu's attention was still on Xin Fai, he wanted to talk about serious matters immediately but to give these two guests a welcome the man offered a banquet.
Yong Tao refused the subtle invitation but Qin Gaozu insisted on entertaining, they were immediately taken to the dining room with a long table containing a variety of luxurious dishes.
As Yong Tao stared at Xin Fai who could only obey, he ate voraciously because by chance this morning had not had time to fill his stomach. Silence occurs when they are busy with their own food.
After the guest banquet, Qin Gaozu's servants cleared the place while Emperor Qin took Xin Fai and Yong Tao to a place, there is a building located in the middle of a small lake containing lotus connected by a rocky road. Shady trees moved slowly as the wind greeted, Emperor Qin's wife closed her eyes as she arrived at her favorite spot.
The four of them sat facing each other, Qin Gaozu seemed to be the first to want to make a sound.
"About our offer, have you decided?"
"Offer?" the Xin Fai.
Emperor Qin explained. "Look, I heard you committed the massacre of the Blood Devil Man alone. I know you're doing something that strong for a good reason." she explained.
"Lately the group of black streams continues to grow stronger, even many white warriors are starting to join them without cause. This makes the heroes in our Empire decrease over time and will continue to happen if we don't prevent it."
Xin Fai nodded in agreement, from his vision during his recent trip what Emperor Qin said was absolutely right. Not only the Blood Demon Man, groups like the White Crow and the others also interfered in it.
"Then, Emperor Qin invited me here?"
"Right, I need your strength to fight them. After knowing you are Xin Fai the Demon Sword I'm sure the black swordsman will be frightened when he hears it." Qin Gaozu showed his confident face but the opposite of Yong Tao was now starting to worry.
"If we let them know that Xin Fai is still alive, it's likely that they'll soon be fighting over her body like they used to" Yong Tao said. The great war seven years ago caused quite a deep wound, unkempt destruction and also many casualties. If it must be repeated a second time then it is finished with their history.
Emperor Qin became a little hesitant after hearing Yong Tao's opinion, but those doubts disappeared when Xin Fai finally spoke up.
"That's what I want, if they come straight to me it means I don't have to go all the way to get to them at their base. Their base is very hidden anyway."
"You sure about this?" Yong Tao frowned deeply. Xin Fai nodded as usual.
"Alright, now I want to discuss about the alliance that has just been formed."
"Sorry to cut, but may I give this to Lady Qin for a moment?" Xin Fai took out a green jade bracelet from her pocket.
Then Lady Qin, who had been very happy to see her favorite jewelry back, twinkled her eyes bright when welcoming the jade bracelet, her wedding gift to Emperor Qin first. The woman wears it, thanking him.
"Just get to the point, honestly right now we don't have much time. I have prepared a combat alliance containing middle and upper-class warriors, their strength I guarantee will be equivalent to the Black Blood army of the Blood Devil group. But until now I have not appointed his leader. Are you willing to accept this important post?"

Qin Gaozu said his smile told the man to sit down, they chatted for a moment before Lian Sheng's eyes drifted towards Xin Fai. Scars of sadness seemed to fill the face, he approached towards the young man then hugged him.
"I've guessed you're still alive Fai'er... How are you doing? Aih, you've grown up apparently, I'm sorry I couldn't help you when you were in danger..." Lian Sheng let go of his embrace and looked at Xin Fai even more clearly, his son noticing the confusion of Lian Sheng's attitude. Of course he did not remember who the young man was because when they met first he was still around four years old.
Xin Fai was confused about having to answer all that from where, finally she could only scratch the back of her head while grinning.
Lian Sheng returned to his place to let Emperor Qin talk to Xin Fai, previously he had seen there was a group of shortlisted warriors in this place and wanted to ask him but presumably the question began to be answered when he saw who had come.
"Although this seems rushed I hope that by appointing you as the head of the Sacred Sword Alliance you can do this task at your best. Your goal is not much different from the purpose of forming this alliance and if you need anything you can ask me directly."
"It seems like this new leader needs to look around for a while at the members he will move around with." said Yong Tao, the man woke up followed by Emperor Qin and also Xin Fai. Emperor Qin's wife said she had business and left immediately with Princess Kaili.
The bodyguards moved with Emperor Qin, Yong Tao, Xin Fai and Lian Sheng towards a special area located not far from the Qin Emperor's palace, there the battle troops lined up orderly guided by a man with a sharp gaze, the man looked convincing once and could be trusted.
Upon realizing their presence the man immediately saluted, he faced Qin Gaozu. "The army is ready, Emperor."
The man escorting the troops stole a glance towards him, he was the grand swordsman directly appointed to be the vice-leader of the Sacred Sword Alliance.
"Ah, it's none of my business but how else." Qin Gaozu turned his body towards the young man behind him.
"Looks good! This young man is the leader of all of you, the Sacred Sword Alliance! Give her your respect!"
