Ch. 187 - Red Devils
The sound was like the sound of a bird hitting a tile, Xin Fai tried to focus on the contents of the book but the sound was so disturbing. Out of impatience, he walked out of the window and up the roof of the inn to see what was happening.
A raven flew fiercely towards him, Xin Fai tried to prevent his movements from making his palm bleed by the bird's pat.

When he jumped in from the window a terrifying energy greeted his arrival, Xin Fai fell to his knees holding back the tremendous pressure of weight attacking his body. The things in the room also moved.
He tried to raise his face to see who did this, when his eyes could clearly catch what was happening - apparently a terrible figure was smiling haughtily at him.
"It looks like I got a new Master after all this time..."
Xin Fai shuddered in horror at the sound that sounded like the screams of death, even more terrifying than it all was. He gulped in a rough gulp as this red devil-like figure approached him, eager to run but on the other hand he was sure that something important would be conveyed by the creature.
"You... You're who?"
"I am the spirit of this book. From today you must be my master. Moreover, if you look around again your strength is good as well, it can be equivalent to the strength of my previous Master."
"I'm your Master? Hey, don't just decide like that! I don't necessarily want to use this book, I'm just looking around–"
"There is no defiance." The eyes of the crimson demon glared sinisterly towards him, that terrifying aura instantly invaded him again and again.
