SURVIVORS
Chaptre 125. The Story of the Witch Clan Elders

In the morning, Silvia, Chandra's doctor, Michfur's physician and his assistant have breakfast together in a special room on the first floor. They were discussing back things about elder care.

"Did the doctor say that the elder had a degenerative disease?" silvia asked to know.

"Yes, we have said that everything he feels is common suffered by parents. We also said presumptions about lumps in his armpits and neck. We've already told you about the rapture operation if it happens in our world. That the same operation here, would be very dangerous given his age and endurance." Dr. Chandra explains.

"So now why are we still here?" silvia asked not understanding.

"In the meantime, we're doing treatment like the healer Cyrill did. It was to reduce the elder's pain. We wait for Prince Edric to take us back, because there's nothing to do anymore." Doctor Chandra raised his hand to surrender.

A waiter entered the room.

"Doctor, you're asked to see the elder when you're done with breakfast."

"Oh, okay. Let's go."

Doctor Chandra hurried off following the maid. They walked up to the second floor, where the room of the elders of the magician clan was located. The guard opened the door. Both came in and saluted.

"Doctor, the elder wants to talk to you alone" said Prince Edric.

"Good." Doctor Chandra nodded in understanding.

Everyone in the room walked out. There are only Chandra's elders and doctors.

The elder called doctor Chandra to approach with a gesture of his hand. Doctor Chandra approached the old and big contest.

"Bring that bench over here. I'll tell you a long story" the elder ordered. His eyes were directed to where the prince was sitting.

Doctor Chandra lifted the chair and placed it near the bed.

"Sit down. and listen to my story." The elder spoke with short breaths.

"Don't make yourself tired."

Doctor Chandra helped the old man sit comfortably. A patted pillow was added to his back. Another pillow was placed under his knees.

"Thank you, doctor." His old eyes are very shady.

"I know that I am sick. It's really time. I don't expect any more healing. I just want this to be over soon. That's why the healer Cyrill only gave potions to reduce the pain I felt." The elder spoke in a low and weak voice.

"And I also know, because of that you probably won't get help from other clans. But I have a story that I don't know if this could be a clue. Huk. - huk.."

Elder coughing. Doctor Chandra helped the elder sit by leaning against his body, then rubbed the elder's back to give him a sense of comfort.

"You're a good man. My son-in-law Felix was lucky to meet you who could save his life. I could see a happy light in the eyes of Leonora and Edric. So just think of this story as a gift for saving my family's life."

The elder smiled weakly and leaned back his body on the pillow arranged at the head of the bed. Doctor Chandra nodded and smiled politely.

"I am not of this world."

Doctor Chandra flinched. His eyes were round in disbelief. The elder nodded to reassure.

"I come from another world that is more advanced than this. Which is just by thinking of one place, I can instantly move there."

"Well?!"

Doctor Chandra flabbergasted.

"Your magic is great. No wonder you became an elder in this clan." Praise doctor Chandra.

Elder shakes.

"It's not magic. That is how our nation moves. Everyone can do that, even a child. It relies on the power of the brain, mind, concentration."

"Our world is among the stars. You know, we also have the ability to fly. But it certainly isn't flying between stars. For that it takes a very complicated long-distance teleportation device."

"Is the teleportation device in this world your creation?" ask Dr. Chandra in amazement.

"I'm just giving you pictures and ideas. Another elder thought over the details. Uh, don't keep cutting the story. And then I forget what I want to say." Elders reminded.

"Well, I'll listen well." Doctor Chandra is showing guilt.

"But I'm very interested in the stars. Until one day I sneaked into the highest government building, hoping to see more stars and more clearly."

"It has been more than 10 days since the ruler said that our nation was attacked by another nation and some small world disappeared from the coordinates. Schools in liburkan. We were told not to wander around and prepare for all possibilities, including joining forces to fight."

"That's the second time I went sneaking up on top of the lookout tower. My brother was a surveillance officer back then. I followed him."

"Early everything looks like before. I was amazed at the small lights in the sky. Suddenly the tower felt swaying. The sirens were roaring all over the city. All the lights are bright. Some soldiers have already flown upwards to protect the citizens."

The elder inhaled a long breath as it eased the turmoil of his heart.

Dr. Chandra got him some drinking water.

"I was still shocked when my brother shouted and jumped at me. We fell from the tower. I could see the stars I admired coming closer and crashing into our world. It's like our world's a magnet that attracts all celestial bodies."

Doctor Chandra looked on in disbelief. His eyes blinked a few times. 'Is this science fiction?' thought doubtful.

The elder was unaware of Doctor Chandra's stupid expression as he was trying to gather all his memories.

"The lucky ones were not buried in the rubble, immediately floated flying, crying, screaming hysterically at the destruction that came in an instant. I tried to send a voice transmission asking for news of some of my brothers, but only 3 people replied. You know, we've been living in dorms since childhood. There were 100 children raised together. Then I lost them all in an instant. But it turns out it's nothing."

Elder down. His shoulders shook slowly. 'It seems that he is enduring a deep sadness' inner doctor Chandra. Grasped those old, wrinkled hands.

"Suddenly we felt that we had lost our ability to fly and fell into a deep void as if being sucked into something. Some mad soldiers thought he was being pulled by the enemy, then attacked the surroundings blindly. So some of them died in the void at the hands of their own people. I almost died, too, if not the brother who was with me in the tower didn't push me away. But he himself did not survive. The light of his eyes disappeared in my arms."

Doctor Chandra looked down sad.

"How long did I fall while holding her, until I suddenly fell into the water. By the time I woke up, I was already in a little cottage of a fisherman. After seeing him, I soon found out that he was not our nation. I asked him about my brother, I thought his people were attacking our nation. I even hit him in my anger. He keeps saying things I don't understand."

"The next day after my energy recovered, he pulled my hand towards the shore. Just keep pointing to the vast sea while speaking a foreign language. I don't understand the language, but I can guess what that means. Could it be that my brother is still floating in the sea? I flew into the sea. Around the designated place. Looking there and there but found nothing. I went back to the beach to see the fisherman to ask him what he meant. But he's passed out on the beach."

In one month I kept checking along the beach. Still can't find my brother's body. But on the way back to the fisherman's place, I saw a light bias in the middle of the sea. I didn't understand what it was. But after hearing your story, I had a thought. It might be another dimensional gate. But I don't know what the world is behind it. I don't know if the light is still there or not. It was over 1000 years ago."

"What's? 1000 years?"

Doctor Chandra doesn't believe me. Eyes rounded.

The elder breathed a sigh of relief after finishing his story. He ignores Chandra's distrust.

"I know you won't believe that. That's why people here only say 200 years to strangers. But look me in the eye first" the elder commanded.

Doctor Chandra complied and looked right into the elder's eyes. Then he immediately retreated when he saw those eyes giving off a milky white light.

"I can still fly, but it will consume my remaining energy. But if I make you fly, you might think it's magic. I don't have magic. But my wife is from a clan of witches. And my various abilities and knowledge, are considered as magic in this world. My children still have some of my abilities and a long life. But until Edric and Leonora's turn, they'll have to study hard to be able to support their talents."

The ocean and the beach where I fell and washed up was in, it's in a country ruled by a blue dwarf clan. I think that place still exists. You can find out for yourself. I haven't seen the outside world in years.

"Thank you for the elders information. Then does the elder know about the portal mirror between the worlds?" ask doctor Chandra.

Elder shakes.

"If the mirror is from my people, then that's not my forte, because I don't understand it myself. So it's possible that it belonged to another nation that was destroyed when the star's chaos occurred."

"Have you ever traveled across the world with that mirror?" ask doctor Chandra.

"I used to go through it to teach my kids first. They need to know that the world is different. But..." The elder frowned thinking of something.

"It feels strange. If you say that your world is very advanced, there are even large conveyances that can fly in the air between countries. Why would Felix say that the world he entered looked like a world with a civilization that was far behind from this world? He's the one who's been there a lot." The elder still could not understand.

"Could it be that, in addition to moving the world, it also moved to the past?"

Doctor Chandra muttered. But his murmur was still heard by the elder.

"Bright.."

Both then looked at. The eyes of the elder flashed and a milky white radiance appeared faintly.
