SURVIVORS
Chapter 92's. Transparent Wall

The next morning after breakfast.

Dean and Alan began their activity of making stairs on the rock wall. Dean is an expert at chisel-sculpting. He sliced through the stone walls, making holes with certain patterns on the mountain walls. Then insert the step pieces on the pattern of the wall of the mountain that was made. Then his eyes shone like laser light to stick the stone steps to stick firmly and stay in place.

While Alan helps hold the pieces of cut steps to keep floating in the air, to facilitate Dean's work. By the afternoon, their work was almost done. The floating stone stairs were only about 20 meters away from the ground.

"Let's take a look at this area before we finish the stairs."

Dean cut open the stone wall again. He wanted to ascertain the place they were headed to before putting up the final steps, which the unexpected party might be able to take advantage of.

Dean and Alan flew low, circling the area. Some plants and weeds are seen on the sidelines of dry land and rocks. They flew far enough away, but did not find a source of water.

"There is no water source, and the possibility of rainfall is low here. So it's hard for this land to restore its fertility." Alan shook his head after checking so far away.

"If this is true of the former pasture where I raise cows, there should be a stream of water coming from the rock."

Dean then darted back towards the rock mountain. The golden light of his body was chasing with the reddish glow of Alan's body. They checked around the stone mountain wall.

"See this elongated low section. This should be the water line up there. But no water falls from this mountain."

Dean raised his head and flew higher to inspect the mountain. There are no more waterfalls there.

"Don't I say it before. We fight mutated creatures and black fog by being burned with light."

"With great difficulty and in a state of injury, I brought the fainted O to the mouth of the cave. At that time the mouth of the cave was not this high. But not long ago we arrived, there was a loud shock and this mountain shook violently. I don't see any change, because it's still covered in hot smoke."

"I have no power either. So I kept sending signals calling for you, but you didn't come either. I thought the violent shaking might smash the side of the mountain over there and kill you. So I can only share my last drinking water with O, hoping to recover over time. But then you found us like that."

Alan went back to telling the details of the incident at that time.

"So, the possibility of a collision on top of the mountain that makes the flow of the waterfall disappear. This land is dry. But how could it be so much lower than the cave door?" Dean thought hard.

"Not to be so thoughtful. Clearly, the situation is like this. Now how's it going? Not even a small animal." Alan spread his hand.

"I'd like to observe over there first. After that we're back." Dean sped up again followed by Alan.

"This area should be part of the vineyard. There should also be waterways, limiting the apple orchards." Dean muttered to himself while recalling the place.

Z followed Dean's fingers pointing here and there. But everything Dean said was gone. The fertile agricultural land has now turned barren with hard and reddish soil.

Yes, all of that is due to the actions of Z and O. But they used to believe that was the fastest way to destroy the creature and thought A and other gardeners could recover it quickly. It turned out that the clash after clash between small worlds was no longer inevitable. Be this small part of the world constantly languishing.

Dean continued to drift further and further. Suddenly Dean bounced and fell. Z immediately restrained Dean's body from hitting the ground.

"What's wrong?" tanyanya did not understand.

"You see there's nothing, right? But I hit him and then bounced and fell." Dean pointed towards the direction he had flown earlier.

"Let me try" said Alan.

"Try to fly slowly."

Dean's message could not be heard Alan, he had shot as fast as lightning, then bounced along hard like Dean earlier. Dean chases after Alan's body, which bounces far enough away.

"You okay?" tanyanya after successfully grabbing Alan's body.

"I feel like I hit a very flexible rubber wall. The sooner we hit him, the further we bounce." That's Alan's conclusion.

"I found him. We can't get through this transparent wall." Dean continued to grope, then stopped and turned to Alan.

"Let's put a sign for this wall of barriers."

Dean descended as his hands continued to cling to that invisible wall. He pulled out several stones and arranged them along the walls he passed through. The stones formed a line, continuing to extend.

"It's afternoon A, we go back first. Discuss this with the others," asked Z.

"alright. At least we've made a mark. Tomorrow we continue the examination." Dean followed Alan back up the stairs to the cave.

At dinner, the discussion came back to life as everyone contributed ideas.

"Then what are our plans tomorrow?" ask Widuri.

"There is absolutely no water source. Although there are some wild plants, but it is not animal feed. And there's no water source at all."

Alan explained the situation of the place.

"Aren't you going to take the perennial spring stone?" ask Widuri wonder.

"Water is for consumption, not for irrigation. The volume is inadequate to wet the dry, hard soil" Dean explained.

Widuri finally nodded in understanding. Now he knows why there is a stone tub to hold water in the room. The initial function must be to accommodate water consumption from water droplets on the wall.

"I remember, in the bat cave there was water that kept pouring from the hole on the roof of the cave. Can you make the aqueduct through the stone wall all the way to it?" ask Goddess.

"I've never tried it before" replied Dean honestly.

"Then how did the water in the stone tub end up in the pond? The principle is the same as that. Create a small aqueduct, so that the world over there can come back to life." Nastiti.

"It wasn't me who made the drain from the tub to the pool. Maybe it was done by the first gardener or maybe the other attendant who opened this place." Dean explained.

"A, can you make a hole with your finger?" ask Sunil.

"Let me try tomorrow. We'll check the bat cave first to see the water source." Dean ended the discussion.

"Then what about the sheep?" The goddess looked sad.

"Are you sure you want to keep all these cattle in such a big place? There was no grass there. Even if Dean manages to drain the water, the grass can't grow right away." Alan gave an understanding to the Goddess.

"We might still be able to keep the chicken by dividing the wheat?"

Nastiti said hesitantly, because that means reducing their own rations. But he could not bear to see the Goddess who looked so sad.

"Cut everything. That way, we don't have to worry about the rations, until we find a way out of the place." The goddess finally decided.

"Tomorrow I will do it" said Sunil quickly. One problem is solved.

"I'll help you" Alan said. Sunil nodded happily.

The discussion that night ended with the decision of the tasks to be done tomorrow. They decided to rest to recover the energy. Tomorrow, another long struggle awaits.
