SURVIVORS
Chaptre 335. Pregnancy Widuri

After caring for Widuri, Dean assisted Sunil, Indra and Robert, harvesting all the wheat crops. Rain the night before, can damage the grain if it continues to be left. So when the sky tilted slightly to the west, all the work was done. They feel relieved. Wheat stocks for the next few months, have been collected.

While the others tied the wheat branches for storage, Robert was busy burning all the remaining clumps in the field.

In the afternoon, all work was done. Although the sweat pours out, but they feel satisfied. The wheat ties that were hooked on the pole, filled the ceiling of the room under the stilt house.

"This can at least guarantee our food supplies for the next six months" Marianne said happily.

"Six months only? I thought it could be a year." Indra scratched his head that was not itchy.

"Just calm. Let's plant the fields again, "please Dean.

"You're right!" Indra patted Dean's shoulder.

"You guys go take a shower. Smell sweat. We'll have dinner ready," Niken kicked out.

"OKAY. Okay!" Indra immediately ran to the pool and threw herself.

"Sunil, how many cattle did you cut yesterday?" ask Dean.

"Two sheep and one cow. Why?" ask Sunil.

"I saw that the meadow was deserted. I thought you'd cut dozens of tails off" replied Dean. Three of his friends were also surprised.

"I also saw a hill full of various vegetable crops!" indra.

"Well, there was nothing in that place before!" Dean added again. "Even the distance from the cave door to the ground below is closer than before. I thought I'd only make three or four steps, I could reach it!"

"But the wheat field is like being in a distant valley, yes ...." Robert added.

All speechless. "Ruler!" shout them in unison.

The four of them turned to doctor Chandra who was swimming.

"And it rained last night, I think also because of the ruler," Sunil added.

"Yes already then. No need to fuss anymore.

For one week, Widuri's condition did not improve. He was still nauseous and vomiting in the morning. He also started to stay away from Dean.

"Dear breakfast, dear" said Dean from the end of the stairs.

"Put it there" said Widuri.

"It's a long way off. Isn't your head dizzy? You'll fall when you pick it up" Dean argued.

Dean kept the ginger tea tray and porridge with him to where Widuri was lying.

"Uweekkk...!" Widuri immediately felt nauseous and took a breath in front of the wide-open window.

"You still nauseous? Don't sit in front of the window, you'll catch a cold" prohibits Dean.

"Let me close the window." Dean stepped by the window.

"No. No. You just go. You stink! I feel nauseous," forbid Widuri to panic.

Dean was sad to hear that. It's been a week, Widuri's pain is getting worse.

"Let me close the window first. I'll leave after closing it, "persuade Dean.

"No! I'll stay here until your smell is gone from here" Widuri replied stubbornly.

"alright. Don't forget to drink your ginger tea and finish the porridge. If not, then I'll bribe you!" dean said firmly.

"Yes!" answered Widuri while continuing to fan in front of the window.

Downstairs.

"Dok, Widuri's pain is getting worse. I think it's time we find a way back. He should be taken to the hospital immediately" Dean said anxiously.

"Let me check again."

Doctor Chandra got up and walked to the top floor of the house.

"How are you feeling now?" ask doctor Chandra.

"Still dizzy and nauseous, Doc," replied Widuri from by the window.

"Can I go there?" ask doctor Chandra.

Doctor Chandra nodded in understanding. Slowly, he walked closer. But Widuri did not react. He remained calm, even until Chandra's doctor checked his pulse.

Doctor Chandra nodded with a smile. Then his shining hand was placed on top of Widuri's stomach. The beam radiated brightly and disappeared into the stomach of Widuri.

"Huh? What'sthat?" ask Widuri in shock.

"That's my blessing to your son" replied Dr. Chandra.

"Son?"

There was a shocked voice coming from near the stairs. Doctors Chandra and Widuri looked over there. Dean was standing there.

"Dean, we're going to have a baby" Isak Widuri said.

"really?"

Dean's eyes showed confusion. Between Sick Widuri and the word baby suddenly talked about. Unknowingly, Dean walked over. Widuri immediately felt nauseous and ran to the window to get some fresh air.

"I-I just want to hug you!" dean's voice weakened accepting Widuri's refusal. His heart hurts. Dr. Chandra alone can check next to Widuri. Why is he being rejected?

"Widuri, take care of your health. The food has to run out" doctor Chandra said.

"Yes, Doc."

Widuri replied without looking back.

"Come, we're talking downstairs." Doctor Chandra knitted Dean's arm, to follow him. Dean just followed him around.

Everyone sat at the table and was ready to listen to Dr. Chandra's news. Seeing the lethargic Dean, they were anxious as well. What else is the attitude of Dr. Chandra very serious.

"Widuri is pregnant—"

"What?"

The other shouted in unison. This is big and shocking news. As joyous as. The room became frenzied with the sounds of laughter and commentary.

"Can I finish it first?" reproof doctor Chandra.

"Oh, yes .. of course."

They were playing with each other to remind them to be quiet.

"Widuri's pregnant. But the nausea is a bit severe. And we don't have a cure for nausea. So, keep things that can provoke the desire of vomit," said doctor Chandra reminded.

"Maybe we can't clean the fish or the meat near the house, so that the stomach can be calm" said Marianne.

"Am I also the cause of his nausea? He's banning me close by" Dean said.

"Maybe!" answer Niken. "You have to stay away for a while, ' he added.

"But why is that? Chandra's doctor was able to examine her up close" Dean protested.

"Maybe, because your future son is a son. He doesn't want you to take his mother," licked Sunil.

"Well, what is that?" Dean can't believe it. But there's no scientific explanation for that. "That little shit. Not yet visible, but already want to compete to take my wife," he said angrily.

The others were stunned for a while before the sound of laughter broke out, echoing from the lower floors.

Robert embraced Dean warmly.

"That little bastard is your son. A love rival you couldn't possibly stand up to!"

"Mahaha ...."

Laughter was heard from downstairs.

Upstairs, in her erratic condition, Widuri smiled at the laughter of her friends. She was sure, it was because of the news of her pregnancy.

"You brought happiness, even before you were born." Widuri rubbed her flat stomach.

"Mama will take good care of you. So let's put an end to the nausea that will only make you weak, "push Widuri towards her stomach.

Slowly, the porridge in the bowl and the ginger tea ran out also went into his stomach. Widuri feels this is a good start. And staying here is also a good thing.

"Is this destiny?" his inner.

"Mama will not harm you, by taking a journey that is not yet clear the direction of his goal" he determined inwardly.
