SURVIVORS
Chapters 258. Disjunct

Jane got back on the train. Leon still looks silent. Breathing out violently.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Silvia...."

Leon shook his head, not knowing what else to say. Something was stirring in his heart. But he doesn't know what.

"He's been saved. And with her husband now. Isn't that nice? What else are you worried about?" jane asked dissatisfied.

Leon shook his head again. Jane has a point. Like Angel, if Silvia decides to stay, what right does she have to forbid? He took a deep breath and looked ahead. His sight was a little blurry. Leon blinked a few times.

"You're right." Leon nodded.

Jane took off the cover of the train. The dark sky began to change.

"We have to make a quick decision. Now our vehicle has 3. How's carrying?" ask Jane.

"Hey! Are you all right?"

Jane shook Leon's body which still did not appear to be signs of moving.

"Near morning! If you want to stay, then we stay. If you want to go back, decide! We can't get through the desert without an escort!" Jane is getting annoyed with Leon's attitude.

"You disappointed me... I think you love your friend. And can't accept that she's married...."

Sounds like Jane's soft stuffing. But not for long. He immediately wiped off his tears as a frenzied voice started to sound. He has made a determination. If Leon can't make a decision now, then he'll take over. Jane got off the train.

"This train is yours. Whatever you want to take with you. You can use it to chase that woman if you want!" jane said spicy!

Jane checked the cart full of Farouk's belongings. All tied up well. The horse is strong too. The horse is better than Star. More likely to pull a loaded cart like this. He then went and led the horse and the cart to his caravan.

Other merchants were astonished to see Jane leading a nice cart full of goods.

"Whose cart is that?" ask someone.

"Mr Mustafa gave it to us. My husband saved his wife" Jane replied in passing.

???

"Waahh, they're so lucky."

"That was the commotion last night?"

Various comments are heard. But no one noticed that Leon wasn't seen that morning.

Jane arranged with the merchant to put the goods in her cart, so that she would take the cart to the city. The man agreed and was very happy with Jane's luck.

The caravan was ready. Jane also strengthened her heart. He bit the last piece of his hard bread with a bloody heart.

Jane can't force Leon if he doesn't want to. While the decision must be taken immediately, because vacillating is not an option. Staying longer at the stop was only self-harm. He doesn't have any more supplies.

The caravan moved slowly leaving the vast field. Other caravans began to follow. There were 3 trade caravans from different cities that had the same purpose. Mustafa's car and cargo troupe are also preparing to return to the desert country.

Jane can see Silvia boarding a luxurious passenger train.

"His husband's rich. What was Leon worried about?" he thought he didn't understand.

The caravan was moving further away. The field began to quiet.

Tok.dok...

"Master?"

A voice resuscitated Leon from his silence. He lifted his head and looked at the foreign place.

"Is there anyone inside?"

The car was a little wobbly. Someone ride.

"Yes!" leon replied, just as the cloth covering the carriage was opened by someone.

"Are you asleep? Where's your caravan?" ask the guy.

Leon jerks.

'Where's Jane?' thought worried.

"No. It's me just leaving."

Leon got up from his seat, headed out. The man turned around and came out first.

Once out of the train, Leon soon realizes that he is indeed left alone. He immediately sat on the back of the horse and directly pounded the horse in the carriage. It's not a good thing to be with a stranger in a foreign place.

"Hey! Wait sir! I want to get into town!" yelled the man.

"Sir...."

Leon was shocked when the stranger suddenly appeared beside the carriage.

"I'm a border guard. My horse got mired in the street, just now, it can't be climbed. Can I take a ride to town? Let me show you the way."

'Is it really visible that I don't know the way?' thought Leon.

"I want to pick up my wife" said Leon, still subtly refusing.

"Hehehe...."

The man chuckled.

"Do I look like a criminal?"

Leon's eyes grew bigger, his mouth opened. He wanted to talk, but he didn't. Finally he nodded.

"Huft. Ride on!" said Leon.

The man tied his horse's rope to Leon's carriage. Then he jumped up happily.

"Thank you."

"City's heading that way" show it to the right.

"Don't it lead to the border?" ask Leon to test.

"That's good too. So I can replace my horse with another guard horse." The man smiled broadly.

Leon snorted at his answer. He then steered the train to the right.

"My name is Salman" he said, introducing himself.

"I'm Leon."

Leon nodded and concentrated on controlling the course of the carriage. The border road is not so good. The carriage of the road swayed left right, like a boat played by waves. It makes Leon sleepy. He barely slept all night.

"It looks like you're lagging behind, due to overslept. If you fall asleep while carrying a train, then this train will fall. Shall I replace it?" ask Salman.

But Leon didn't respond. His eyes closed unconsciously. The harness loosened in his grasp.

Salman shook his head. He took the bridle carefully, and began to choose a good path.

The train was not carrying a heavy load. So he can walk a little faster. They were finally able to catch up to the very back of the trade caravan. The road is narrow. Salman could not make a train ahead of the long queue of caravans that were running in a row.

The day began to rise when finally the village border was seen.

"Hey, wake. I'll go down in the village ahead of it."

Salman shook the sleeping body of Leon leaning back.

"Well?!"

Leon looked for a moment. All he saw was the back of the goods cart.

"You awake? In front is a village. I'm down there."

Salman handed the reins back into Leon's hands.

"Am I asleep?" leon was still confused.

"Haha.... If it was someone else, you would've been robbed, old."

Leon could feel the tone of ridicule from the man.

Why did Jane leave me? Where is he now? Leon was already starting to be able to think clearly at this moment. He tried to remember everything before his brain went blank due to being too sleepy. He starts to remember the last conversation with Silvia, as well as Jane.

He saw the cart in front of him. He can't wait to get ahead, so he can find Jane's whereabouts.

Entering the village, the streets are wide. Leon wanted to get ahead of the wagon line, when Salman asked to stop.

"I'll just get down here" he said.

Leonpun stopped the train. Salman jumped down. The rope of his horse was removed from Leon's carriage.

"Thank you for the ride. See you later" he said with a warm smile.

Leon nodded. He returned to drive the carriage, chasing the line of trading caravan carts. He must find Jane soon.

'Does Jane stay in town or go back to the desert? With who?' thought worried.
