SURVIVORS
Chaptre 65. Golden Circle of Light

Dean's loud scream echoed down the hallway to the cave. Making his new friends close their eyes sit up alertly.

"Whose scream was that?" The goddess asked in a daze. Widuri was surprised and remembered something.

"Dean." Widuri got up and ran into the cave passage.

The others stared for a moment before running after Widuri.

"Dean why?" Alan shouted not understanding.

"Don't know. He was wounded said Sunil." Widuri continued to run and heard Sunil's voice from the hallway in her right. Widuri turned and was astonished to see the scene in front of him.

"What's that?" tanyanya's confused. The three friends arrived and were shocked.

"Dean. in. he is in that circle of golden light." Sunil who was still squatting stuttered pointed towards his front.

Alan came forward wanting to reach Dean's faint shadow.

"Don't! Later you.." Sunil hasn't finished talking, Alan bounced into the hallway wall.

Bruck.

"Aargghh," Alan groaned in pain. His back hit the stone wall hard then slumped to the floor.

"Alan!" Dewi and Nastiti approached checking on her condition.

"Lay down first" said Dewi.

Alan lay down for a moment to relieve his heart pounding. Head cackling. His back was crumpled, so he actually wanted to lie down on that floor first. But the floor felt very cold, making the bones even more painful.

"Please help me sit down" Alan told the Goddess. The Goddess helped him sit down and leaned on the Goddess. The two observed the golden light that enveloped Dean.

After seeing Alan thrown, no one else dared to try to pull Dean. They could only look and wait anxiously.

"Aaaaaaaarrh." Dean screamed loudly again making his friends more anxious.

Not long after, the golden halo began to thin, making Dean's shadow more visible. Within a minute, the light disappeared entirely, making Dean's body that floated without consciousness instantly fall lying on the floor.

"Dean." Widuri ran to find him.

"Dean, what's wrong with you? Wake up. Wake up..," Widuri cried while patting Dean on the cheek.

"Bloody finger bandages first. After that we take him out." Sunil handed the dressing cloth to Widuri.

"Whose day is wounded?" tanya Widuri checked Dean's hand.

"His right hand was wounded. Just take a look. His blood kept dripping earlier," said Sunil again.

Widuri checked all of Dean's fingers again, but none of them were injured.

"There were no injuries" said Widuri puzzled.

"What time?" Sunil couldn't believe it.

Clearly, the blood was pouring and flowing until his palm, the time suddenly disappeared? 'Was the water dripping from the wall able to heal wounds instantly?' thought Sunil couldn't believe it.

"So how's Dean's story like that?" ask Nastiti.

Sunil told me everything he saw. Even so, they remain confused as to what happened.

"Dean is not conscious yet." Widuri.

"Try to get some water on the wall, splash it on his face" suggested the Goddess.

"Yes, just try. If it's true that water can heal Dean's wounds in an instant, it might as well make him sober." Nastiti agrees.

Widuri stepped out to reach the water from the wall, accommodating it with her palm. Sunil went out to pick up the stone cup that was in the dining room.

Widuri splashed the water in her hand onto Dean's face, but there was no reaction. They're disappointed.

"Come on, let's just cut it out. This floor is very cold. Later on I get another disease." Nastiti finally opened her voice.

"Are we strong enough to carry it?" Fallback of nanya.

"Let me just get some cloth from the cave for his bed" said Widuri.

"Well, whatever. How're you? Can you walk back to the cave or not?" ask Nastiti to Alan.

"Let me try," Alan tried to stand up, aided by the Goddess.

"Where are you from?" ask the Goddess to Sunil.

"Taking this," Sunil showed the stone cup he was carrying.

Sunil continued to step closer to the stone tub. Water drops from the wall. It took a long time to fill that stone cup. His friends looked impatiently.

He was already very sleepy, but no one wanted to go back to the cave. Nastiti doesn't dare to be alone in there at night like this.

Sunil did not answer Nastiti's question. Take a cup and see the contents. Then get close to Dean. He lifted Dean's head slightly to make it easy to drink water from a cup.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Widuri who wanted to go take the bedding cloth, returned to prevent Sunil's actions.

"The water has no miracle. It was splashed, but Dean still fainted." Widuri.

"It was just splashed. Now we try to drink this water a little, maybe it works," Sunil also equally insistent.

"If the water is poisonous how?" Widuri still has a reason.

"All right, let me try it first." Sunil immediately drank the water in the stone cup.

"What do you feel?" ask Alan.

"none. It's just that my thirst is gone" Sunil replied.

"I think your hunger will be gone after drinking that water" cried Nastiti amused.

"Yeah, but obviously I didn't get poisoned" Sunil said.

He again held water drops on the wall. Gradually, Sunil felt that the pain from the impact had slowly reduced.

Sunil came back to Dean. Widuri was still trying to block him, but stopped after receiving a sharp glare from Sunil. Sunil drank all the water in the stone cup. Then Dean lay back down.

Sunil again holds water droplets. After 5 minutes, he gave the cup to Alan.

"Drink this. The pain in my body from that throw, it's starting to diminish." Sunil brought the cup closer to Alan's mouth while nodding.

'There's no harm in trying, after all Sunil also seemed fine with no symptoms of poisoning' Alan thought. The water in the cup was drunk by Alan until it ran out.

"You come back for a break, let me accompany Widuri to wait for Dean to wake up" Sunil advised Alan.

Alan nodded and swept the Goddess back into the cave. Nastiti followed from behind.

"I'll get you a cloth for Dean's bed to lie on." Widuri got up and followed behind Nastiti.

Sunil was alone accompanying Dean. They had water drops from the wall. Sunil wanted to try again to ascertain the taste and benefits of that water. According to Sunil it does not taste like ordinary water, but there is warmth that radiates to make his body feel comfortable after drinking it.

"Ugh...!"

Dean's voice complained. Sunil approached immediately.

"Dean, are you conscious? What are you feeling? What the hell happened just now?"

Sunil's questioning still hasn't made Dean sober. His eyelids were still tightly closed but it could be seen that his eyeballs were moving to the left right and shaking. Dean's forehead and brows furrowed like they were experiencing something. Sunil poured a little cold water into his hand and rubbed it on Dean's face. Sunil's efforts bore little fruit. The frown and wild movements of Dean's eyeballs began to diminish. It seems that the ice-cold water makes Dean comfortable.

"Dean, do you hear me? Wake up from your dreams. Everyone is worried." Sunil rubbed water on Dean's face.

"How is he doing?"

Widuri's back with some pashmina and Dean's long coat. Sunil helps turn Dean's body so that Widuri can put a pedestal under Dean's back. Dean's expression was now calm. Sunil again holds water in the cup.

"Ohhhh.." Dean complained quietly.

A faint shadow appeared in front of him and a voice called out.

"Deans. You're already sober. Thankfully," Widuri hugged Dean involuntarily.

Dean blinked his eyes many times to remove the fog that was blocking his view. Sunil smiled closer, carrying the stone cup again.

"Let him sit down and drink a little more." Sunil touched the shoulder of Widuri who was still face down hugging Dean on the floor.

"Huh?! Ah, yes.."

Widuri regained consciousness and immediately woke up. His face was red with embarrassment. 'What am I doing? Stupid, embarrassing!" it's in the heart.

Sunil raised Dean's head slightly and brought the cup closer to Dean's mouth.

"Drink first, let it taste fresh."

Dean's according to drink. His gaze was still blurry and his body could not be moved.

After giving a drink, Dean was laid back. Sunil stood up to hold water again.

"Who are you?"

The question that came out of Dean's mouth really made his two friends jump in shock and looked at him strangely. Then Sunil and Widuri looked at each other confusedly. Fear began to enter the hearts of the two.

"Did the spirit of the dead possess him?" whispered Widuri to Sunil who is now near Widuri to anticipate all possibilities.
