SURVIVORS
Chaptre 81. The Body of Two Protectors

In the afternoon, Dean, Alan and Sunil's work was completed. The goddess looked at the wooden fence with satisfaction. His beloved sheep are safe now. Tomorrow it's their job to add grass to the cage, because there are very few green areas where sheep play now.

"thank you. This is more practical" said Dewi.

"Yes, already. You guys go take a shower. It's dark soon. Dinner is ready." Nastiti yells from the kitchen door.

The men went to clean themselves and changed clothes.

The twilight was dotted with raindrops. Widuri serves food inside the cottage. There is a table that is quite filled with 6 chairs, not far from the fireplace that separates the walls of the room men and women. In some places placed light crystals as additional lighting.

"How's the meat taste?" ask Widuri.

"Very good, savory and fragrant" Alan replied as he chewed bread interspersed with tomato soup containing slices of lamb fried in butter.

In front of Widuri, a large plate of vegetable and fruit salad mixed with cheese crumbs and thin slices of seasoned meat is also almost toilet. No one would be willing to miss out on a delicious meal tonight after working hard all day.

"The meat preservation Dean taught was a success, yes" praised Sunil who relentlessly stuffed thin slices of meat into his mouth.

"Thank God if you like it this way." Dean smiled, nodding his friends' heads.

"What's tomorrow so check the end of the cave passage?" ask Nastiti.

"Yes. Better get it resolved quickly. So we can leave sooner," replied Dean.

"alright. Can we come?" ask Nastiti again.

"Not necessary either. Just prepare what you want to bring later, so as not to rush," replied Dean again.

"Dean, when we go, do the sheep, chickens and rabbits we leave here alone?" ask the Goddess who looks unwilling. Yes, the Goddess is the one who always takes care of patiently all the pets.

Dean was speechless before answering carefully so that the Goddess would not be sad.

"We'll see the situation later. Hopefully there is a way to keep them safe. I'll work, but I can't promise. Or do you have an idea for that?" Dean wanted to hear the Goddess's opinion.

"Can't our cattle get in your storage room?" ask the Goddess doubtfully.

Dean shakes.

"It could be, if they've been slaughtered."

The goddess looked sad but still nodded in understanding.

Next Morning..

Alan, Sunil and Dean were ready to dismantle the wall covering the end of the hallway that Dean made.

"You guys stay away first. I'm gonna make a little hole to look in that direction" Dean said.

"Yes, if you still see black fog, close the hole again as soon as possible." Alan and Sunil stay away from Dean.

Dean's preparing. His slightly glowing and faintly shaded hand was directed at the stone wall. Dean formed a rectangular box the size of his hands. Then the box slowly followed Dean's hand pull out of the wall. Dean immediately peeked through the hole. His face looks bright.

"Let's see." Dean gives Alan and Sunil a peek.

Alan ventured to peek first.

"Haha.. It looks safe." Alan laughed happily, making Sunil curious and quickly peeked through the hole as well.

"There's no black fog there." Sunil happy.

"alright. So let's get rid of this door and see what happens."

Dean asks Alan and Sunil to stay away while he works. Dean cut the stone wall to the size of a door to make it easy to pass. Slowly he lifted the stone door and moved it to the side of the wall.

In front of the cave hallway which is only 15 meters from the exit. The floor is full of rocks here and there. Dean wanted to step in to check when his eyes were pounded on something on the right side of the newly opened door.

Dean immediately crouched down while recognizing the star emblem that looked dull and dusty between the weathered clothes.

"O, Z, I'm sorry. You must be waiting for me desperately here." Dean shed tears as he rubbed the star emblem.

"They're O and Z. Two protectors were sent here back then. I'll take them and lay them next to my grave."

Dean moved his hand carefully. The bodies of the two who only stayed that skeleton, floated slowly. Alan and Sunil stepped aside giving way without commenting.

"Alan you're with Dean. Let me keep watch here. Let no creature that we do not want, barge into" said Sunil.

Alan nodded and walked quickly after Dean. Dean brought his two protectors to the pool room. One skeleton was placed on top of a stone tub. The other one is still on the floor.

"Can I help Dean?" alan asked sincerely.

But Dean nodded in silence. With a stone cup, the water that dripped on the wall was filled. The water was then splashed on the head. Then he filled the water with a stone cup. So many times that all the bones had been washed.

Dean stared at the stone tub with a very sad and regretful face.

"Dean, can't his spirit go out and enter another body like A's spirit lives in yours?"

Alan was aware of the current situation. He knew Dean felt very guilty for not being able to open the stone door to help the two protectors.

"For what?" Dean turned to Alan.

"So you can explain each other's situation and why you can't open the stone door for them." Alan put his thoughts into action.

"Do you want him to stay in your body?" dean asked full of questions.

"It's okay. As long as you can make peace with each other, isn't that good? After that he can rest in peace, right?" said Alan innocently.

Dean smiled at it.

"It's not that easy to tell her to leave if she has chosen you. Aren't you worried about his mastery? The protectors are strong figures. Stronger than me. Not necessarily he's willing to budge and blend in with you voluntarily." Dean explained at length.

Meanwhile, the skeleton on top of the stone tub slowly returned to its physical form. Alan jumped to see it. That's the most absurd thing he's ever seen

Dean checked the necklace on the neck of the stiff body. He took out a set of clothes and put on proper clothes and reattached the star emblem on the chest of his robe.

"He's very handsome and still young" Alan murmured in praise.

Dean lifted the already clean body towards the transmission room. Open the door with light coming out of his forehead. Alan came in to see the room.

Dean put the body on the floor, because there was no table or anything. Remove the star emblem from the person's chest and place it on a small panel table in the middle of the room.

Dean's hand was in the center of the panel, then out the reflection of light from the star emblem. The bluish light contained foreign letters that Alan did not understand. Dean took a serious look at the projection of the light. Face glum. Then the projection stopped. Dean returned the emblem to his friend's cloak.

Dean returned to the pool room and lifted up another protective skeleton and placed it on top of the stone tub.

This time Alan took a more serious look as Dean repeatedly held the water with a stone cup and poured the water over the entire bone from head to toe. Then they waited patiently.

When there had been a physical change, Dean again took a decent set of clothes from the storage of the figure and dressed it up to look appropriate. The process is complete. Dean looked at Alan.

"So how? You're still willing to be occupied by one of these protectors?" ask Dean to make sure.

Alan felt held. He had offered to help thinking the spirit could be asked to leave if his affairs had been completed. But now he doubts.

"Do you know how?" ask Alan curiously.

Dean patting.

"You can think about it later or talk to other friends. Now let's check out what's on the other end of that aisle. How could the black fog disappear from there?"

Dean stepped out, down the cave passage to where Sunil was waiting.
