Robert followed Kang walking in the underground passageway to the lower chamber of the tomb. Kang walked quickly.
Arrive at the door of the basement next to the tomb. Kang walked back into the hallway. Robert was confused, missing Kang's step count. He was already standing facing the wall on the right of the entrance.
Kang felt the wall. Then jump up and touch something there. The stone wall shifted to the side and opened a gap like a large size door.
The door was completely invisible, if not Kang who opened it. 'How smart was his grandfather? Could make a secret room as perfect as this.' Robert was amazed.
Kang bowed reverently at the door before stepping into the large, tall room. Robert followed his way. There was an old bed, a writing desk and a bench that was also the same age. The most conspicuous one was the large closet whose entire shelf was filled with wooden scrolls.
"Is this your grandfather's room?" ask Robert who can't help but be curious.
"Hemmm.." replied Kang.
Kang approached the large closet to look for something. What Robert did not understand was that whenever Kang brought his hand closer to one of the scrolls, Kang's palm shone yellowish. Then the scroll that is there gives off its own light.
'That's definitely a way to protect information. That way, whoever finds this room, will never be able to use it. Brilliant!' praise Robert in your heart.
Unable to help Kang, Robert turned his attention to inspecting the 5x5-meter room. This bed seems to be longer and bigger than the usual bed now.
'How tall was Grandpa Kang? 2 meters? or more?' inner Robert.
The desk in the room was quite large. According to Grandpa Kang's high estimate. There's still a pen and an ink container there.
'Was there a pen at that time? Didn't they still use brushes during the joseon dynasty?'
Robert shook his head not understanding. On one side of the wall, there was cross-legged wood, standing to support a worn and very foreign shirt. It caught Robert's attention to walk up to him.
Kang realized that. He held Robert's arm and touched a finger to his forehead.
'Don't touch that shirt. Grandfather protected her with a spell.'
Robert nodded.
"I understand. Thank you, Kang."
Robert approached the unique shirt.
'How important is this shirt to be protected by a spell?' thought.
But the shirt is so unique. The size is large, luxurious dark blue base color. In the shoulder, chest and arm tips as combined with other materials that look solid. It doesn't look like a warrior's armor. But it looks strong. Almost like a suit of armor, but different. This shirt is long, like a robe of honor. Many intricate golden-colored motifs were scattered on the shirt.
'What is this motive?'
Robert crouched to notice the elaborate motif that was like that symbol. Unknowingly, his hand attempted to touch the tip of the robe. Suddenly something shook his hand....
"Ouch.." sizzled Robert.
In an instant his body was also stomped to a rapid ejection.
"Aaaahhhh.." Robert cried in shock.
Bruckk!
His body landed on the wall across the room. Right at the head of the bed.
Kang is shocked and finds the fallen Robert slumped, sitting on the bed.
"Aghhh.., my back hurts. Ouch.... What was that?" confused muttering.
But Kang didn't answer. The door of the room was closed immediately. The room sounded crackling. There was light and gray smoke entering the room. Dust fell from the ceiling.
Kang was aware of the situation. The burglar trap in this room has already activated Robert.
Kang instantly turned into a dragon. The size makes the room feel cramped. Robert lifted him up on his back. Kang then shifted the bed to the other side of the room.
Robert and Kang waited. Soon the sound stopped. The red color of the symbol disappears. The light and gray smoke also disappeared along with the automatic opening of the door.
Kang shifted the bed to where it was. Robert was sent there. Kang placed his front hand that was still bleeding into Robert's forehead.
'Don't touch anything! There are many traps here. Grandpa has bounced off almost everything here. You could have been killed without my help.'
"I'm sorry."
Robert nodded, realizing his mistake.
'The 'curiosity can kill us' inwardly.
Kang pursues his search. There were hundreds of wooden rolls on that shelf. Robert could only wait for Kang to find the right record. He sat obediently on the edge of the bed. His back still hurts. Luckily, no bones were injured.
A few moments later.
Kang finally brought a scroll to the workbench. His hands were spread on the surface of the table.
'Even the table surface was smashed? Be very careful' inner Robert.
Then the scroll unfurled Kang on the table. Robert saw what was recorded there. But there's no writing there. Blank. Blanks. The scroll was clean from the scratches of the pen.
"There's no record of anything in there, Kang. Aren't you taking it wrong?" asked Robert astonished.
Kang shook his head. He flicked his hand again on the surface of the scroll. Now the orange letters began to appear one by one. But not on the surface of the wood roll. The foreign letters floated in the air, moving like waves of water, just above the scroll.
"Wooow...!"
Robert could not hide his admiration for Kang's grandfather's intelligence. Write notes and hide them from the unauthorized, in amazing ways.
Kang's face changed as he read it. Pleased, sad, complicated, confused...?
Robert could only guess. Because he didn't understand a single letter from all the foreign letters floating around.
"Can you read it, Kang?" ask Robert to know.
"Hemmmm." replied Kang.
Kang continued reading the note. Then he touched the wall on the desk. A mechanical sound was heard.
Klikk!
Then a secret shelf opened there.
Kang grabbed the black wooden box that was there. He put his hand on the box. Then the box opened. There were several small bottles arranged in it. Kang took one, then closed the box again. Keep it back on a secret shelf that soon disappears behind a wall.
Robert could only gape at everything that was happening.
'That's sum total? Do many want the drug?' thought.
After returning the wooden scroll to its place again, Kang led Robert out of the room. Before closing the door, Kang was seen throwing a green light from his palm into the room. Then he grabbed something at the top. And the huge stone door again shifted and closed perfectly. Disguised with a hallway wall. It makes no difference at all.
Kang put a finger on Robert's forehead.
'The medicine already exists. Do you want to be delivered now?'
"Yes, come.... It's great if you can find her." Robert was very happy.
The two of them went out of the small world to Dean's house and friends. Robert is optimistic Laras can be cured. The hope is great to be able to bring him back to Indonesia.
