Accompanied by Nastiti, Dean goes to check into the bat cave. They were surprised to see the cave floor filled with bat carcasses that were charred like charcoals.
"Why are they all charcoal?"
Nastiti examined the walls and ceiling of the cave which is usually filled with bats hanging from it. But now there is nothing to be seen.
Dean is watching.
"Maybe the impact of blue O light that entered the cave, made them also killed."
"But why are we okay?" ask Nastiti wonder.
"Because Z uses the power of its light to dampen O light. Did you forget that Z fainted after he searched O's body?" Dean reminded.
"Yes, I remember now. You took her after Sunil." Nastiti nodded.
"That's Dean's hole." show Nastiti.
Dean observed an open hole in the ceiling of the cave. It used to look a little space outside of that hole. But now a bright light was clearly pouring in.
The bat cave was no longer dark and damp. The moisture is lost because the hot light of the blue O rays evaporates all the moisture. And there's a beam of light coming in through an open hole in the ceiling of the cave.
The water coming in from several sides of the hole fell to the floor of the cave and formed a small niche on the floor.
"Where does this pool flow?" chirps Nastiti who realized that the small niche was never full, what else evaporates the water.
Dean shook his head faintly.
"Clearly it does not flow out, because on two sides of the mountain no water comes out. So there was only one possibility, he flowed into the crack of the floor of this stone cave, somewhere to end." Dean concluded.
"Can you drill into the rock walls so that the water here can flow into the dry land?" ask Nastiti.
"I'm going to check upstairs first. Where is this water source. You wanna come?" Dean looked at Nastiti.
"Oh, okay. I love to fly." Nastiti smiled broadly.
Dean hugged Nastiti's waist, then carried her darting through a hole in the ceiling of the cave.
"Wow!" Nastiti's mouth opened to see the situation at the top of the cave.
Dean kept his arms around him as he floated checking in and out of here.
Nastiti was really amazed to see the top of the cave that still left the green. Unlike the one side of the cave, which is filled with a thin smog, and the other side is dry and arid red.
Dean finally takes Nastiti down after finding the source of the water that went into the cave. The water fell from within the black fog. That should be the top of this mountain.
"I'll just make a drain from up here" Dean broke up.
"All right, I'll keep you company. What can I help you with?" Ask Nastiti.
"Sit's just sweet enough," replied Dean lightly.
Nastiti chuckles at the realization that Dean doesn't need any help at all.
Making waterways is not difficult for Dean. He began to work dredging the ground surface as deep as half a meter. Starting from the place where the water falls, diverting the flow of water towards the arid land on the other side of the mountain. Such work was much lighter than carving a hard rock. Before long, the waterway was finished as well. The water is now falling towards dry and barren land. Dean piled up the stones along the side of the aqueduct. Now looks tiny times meandering towards the cliff.
"Great. I think for no more than 2 hours, you've finished it," Nastiti pointed two thumbs up her hands at Dean.
"Since it's over here, let's just move on down there" Dean suggested.
"Well, I'll enjoy this flight. Pilot sir, please slow him down. Passengers get airsick" joked Nastiti.
Dean just smiled, then hugged Nastiti's waist. They flew back lightly. Dean wasn't lightning fast, knowing he was carrying someone else.
Dean dropped Nastiti not far from where the water fell. They felt the wet air filled with water grains.
"It seems I have to make a bigger aqueduct" Dean murmured.
The work was not as he expected. The water that fell did not reach the ground, has vanished.
"You wait here first. I fixed the work above again," Dean said.
"OKs. Go ahead" replied Nastiti.
He was being attracted by some wildflowers that appeared between the dry earth cracks.
"Yes. I won't touch." Nastiti raised both of her hands high to reassure Dean.
Dean nodded, then darted away upstairs. He had to make the aqueduct bigger than before.
Dean checked again, the waterfall from the black fog was also not big. So, even if he enlarged the aqueduct, it would be useless. What's more because this mountain cliff is too high, then a little water that falls will disappear in the wind without ever reaching the ground.
Dean tried to close all the water gaps to the cave, so that more could be poured into the ground. Dean also increased the size of the waterways. Now, there was nothing else he could do to outsmart the lack of water sources. Just waiting for the generosity of nature, so that heavy rain falls occasionally.
Dean examined the area over the mountain even wider, hoping that there was another source of water that could be drained into the land. But he didn't find it. But Dean meets Alan and Sunil near the shower from the pool.
"Alan, Sunil." call Dean.
"You checked up the mountain?" Alan looked up at Dean's voice.
"Yes, I was looking for another water source, but I couldn't find it" replied Dean.
"You cut all the sheep?" dean asked, seeing that there were a lot of sheepskin dried by the two.
"The details are also in line" said Sunil.
"Alright, I left Nastiti alone there. I'm leaving now." Dean darted quickly towards Nastiti waiting.
"Hows it? Is the job done?" nastiti asked to see Dean show up.
"There's nothing I can do anymore. Because the water source is also small" Dean said.
"Leave it. Although a little, but drops of water that lasts a long time will again moisten the air. The water point in the air will evaporate because of this dry and hot temperature. And the pool of water vapor will become a cloud. It was raining at the end." Nastiti.
"You're very optimistic." Praise Dean for smiling.
"Then let's go check the transparent wall we found yesterday" Dean said.
"alright. Let's get back on the flight, pilot." Nastiti already presented both her hands with a sign ready to fly.
"You like to joke and tease people the most. And always be optimistic about whatever you're up against" Dean said as he floated lightly with Nastiti.
"Do you mind that, pilot?" ask Nastiti teasing.
"No. I think it's very good. You don't continue to suspect me like Widuri did. It feels like whatever I do, it's always wrong in his eyes" Dean complained.
"Yeaaa, pilot curcol sir hahaha," Nastiti chuckled and her body swayed in Dean's arms.
"Are you in love with her?" tanyak Nastiti full search.
This time Nastiti did not waste the opportunity to get first-hand info.
Dean snorted as he suddenly sped up his flight.
"Babahhh. Stop. I'm nauseous." Nastiti.
"Hahaha. rasain," replied Dean laughing happily.
However, seeing Nastiti paled, slowed the flight rate and began to descend to the ground. Nstiti immediately sat down while holding her nauseous stomach.
"Hoekkk.."
Finally the breakfast that had not been fully digested came out of his mouth. His face, which was originally pias, began to blush again. There were water spots there.
"I'm sorry, '" Dean said softly filled with regret.
He slowly rubbed Nastiti's back. Nastiti wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.
"Water. I want some water" whispered Nastiti limp.
"Let's go back. I'll fly slowly," Dean asked.
Nastiti looked at him without answering.
"I promise I won't joke around like that again" Dean said.
Nastiti nodded. After all, flying with Dean was the only way to get back.
