SURVIVORS
Chapters 171. About Robert 2

Robert is waking up. His head feels dizzy. His eyes are heavy. His consciousness slowly gathered. 'Jail!' the memory made him sit up immediately.

Robert tilted his head slightly looking at where he was at this moment. It's a closed room with a few piles of stuff on one of the walls. Robert was lying on the ground floor that was even hard as a brick.

"This is not a prison. More like a barn," murmured Robert.

"What's going on? Why did I suddenly faint? Ahh, it feels like I saw the prisoner next door pull the wall down and he ran away. It's a faint one, but I'm sure it's him." Robert convinced himself.

'Then what happened? Why am I being moved here? I have nothing to do with that guy. What about the other prisoners? Is it locked up too?' Robert kept guessing what happened that night.

"Ah, stop. Just wait for the officer to come. I haven't been interrogated yet." Robert muttered.

Robert then sat against the wall. Thank goodness her hands and feet were not tied. As if the one holding back was sure Robert would not be able to escape.

Kruyuukkk..

"Dam. I'm so hungry." Robert grumbling.

"Are the prisoners here fed only in the evening? Inhumane!" robert was upset.

Robert kept waiting. He doesn't know what time it is outside. Not a single light came in from outside as the entire wall and door were tightly shut. The lighting in the room was just a small lamp that was almost dead. But when he heard the sound of crickets getting unpretentious, he was aghast.

'It must be night. Did they forget to take my food? Or intentionally punish me?' thought Robert.

Robert got up from his seat. Staggered, he walked towards the door.

"Hey, guards. You haven't fed me!" Robert shouted while banging on the wooden door.

But there's no answer. Not even a snatch from the guard is there. Robert was astonished. Try listening to the atmosphere outside. There were no firm footsteps from the guards as he remembered last night. There was only the noise of crickets.

"Am I isolated?"

"Decorated? Dumped? Caged to death by starvation?"

Robert kept guessing. But still not getting an answer.

"Hey, guards. You guys hear me?" robert shouted again seeking attention.

Robert listened behind the door. There's no sound out there.

Robert checked the stack of items arranged on one wall.

"Betch?" Robert surprised. He's backing out now. Looking for his big knife at the waist. 'Still there' his mind relieved.

"It seems that someone wants to frame me as the owner of these weapons. I gotta get out of here." Robert has got a bright spot.

"Stupid. Why don't I check that stuff out." He regretted his stupidity.

Robert tried to push the door, fingering every wall of wood. Nothing shaky. Robert moved the pile of items to the front of the door, to block people from entering easily.

Then he poked at the bottom of the wooden wall that had previously been covered in goods. Robert continued to stab him with a large knife. The bottom of the wall looked a little weathered. Robert kicked a piece of wood. Then he tried to stab the wood next to him.

About 15 minutes later, Robert had managed to sneak out of the room. Justright. The world is dark.

It's so dark. There is no moon. There was only a black shadow of a tree when looking up at the dark blue sky.

"This cottage is in the woods. I have to leave before anyone comes." Robert clasped his knife firmly.

He walked away alert. Several times he erased his tracks by dragging a twig full of leaves behind him. If he sprinkles dry leaves. Even walking around more than 3 times just to trick the person who might be hunting him.

"Pathetic. There's not even a water source." Complain Robert.

Robert kept walking. And more excited when he could see the shadow of the tree brighter from the front there.

"There's a building there." Robert was careful.

'Building in the middle of the forest. There should be a guard, right?' thought Robert.

By ducking and sinking, Robert was getting closer to the building which, although there was no moonlight, could still be seen so large the building.

Robert looked around. There were no guards patrolling. No watchtowers, no lamps, no fences.

What building is this? Big and majestic. Moving up like a pyramid. Is this an abandoned temple? Which madman built a temple in the middle of the wilderness?

Many questions are confusing and do not have a single answer.

Robert stepped forward. But just one step, he stopped again.

'There is no way that the party who built this will let his building can be entered by foreigners easily. There must be a trap or a trigger alarm, he thought.

Robert crouched down and scooped up the ground and grass with his hands. The ground was thrown forward. There's nothing. Robert returned the way, and squatted down again to pick up something on the ground. Until a few steps so, finally Robert's vigilance paid off.

As Robert threw the small twig he got, he finally saw a faint light encircling the building.

"Is the building in another world again? But don't I usually see what's behind the walls of light? Why would I see that building?"

Robert doesn't understand. Try again throwing something in the front. The veil of light was back on.

"Enter or not?" Robert hesitated. Slowly surrounded the building with a sheath of light.

"Hem. I thought this sheath had a diameter of not less than 100 meters. Robert was very curious to check out the building. But her little heart hesitated.

Finally Robert just sat leaning against the tree and rested there. He's tired and hungry.

"How long have I been fainting? Why is this feeling of weakness like I've been getting no fluid intake for days?" Robert could only complain to himself.

The dark sky above emitted flashes. Thunder gusts sounded along with the fall of the first raindrops.

Robert looked up with a happy face.

"Thank God" he whispered.

With the rest of his energy he moved to a place that was not blocked by leaves. The water poured out of the sky with both hands and drank it with immeasurable gratitude.

But his tired body was no longer able to move. He fell under the rain.

His eyes were soaked with rain water that kept flowing. Robert tried to enjoy every drop of water that fell on his face. Fumigated his flow on his cheeks and neck.

But then his instincts made him open his eyes. He couldn't believe there was such a big bird in front of him. White, luminous, and flickering over the rainwater.

"Am I on the verge of death to hallucinate like this?" robert muttered weakly.

He could still feel the big bird rubbing its face and it made him sleepy. Then he held his body on his shoulder. Robert felt his body piercing through the wind and rain. Then he doesn't know anything anymore.
