SURVIVORS

SURVIVORS
Chaptre 350. Strange Island

"Are you all ready? It's time to continue the journey" doctor Chandra reminded.

"okay."

The three men got up from sitting down. Dean kept all the stone slabs they used for shelter. Food and drink were also kept back.

"Come on!" said Dean.

"Which way are we?" ask Robert.

"Indonesia is in the eastern part of India. how about we look to the east?" dean Proposals.

"But it's not India anymore" Robert argued.

"Although it has shifted, it never hurts to follow the east until we find another island. From there we look for the right direction" Dean explained why.

"If so, is it not the same if you have any direction?" talk to Robert again.

"What do you think, Doc?" ask Dean and Robert.

"Find the nearest island only.after that we determine again to choose which direction."

Doctor Chandra shot high up. Dean and Robert followed. From a height, they search for the existence of other islands to visit.

"Did you see the island?" show Robert.

"That's small. Is there a occupant?" sela Dean's.

"That's the only thing visible from here. How's it?" Robert asked his friends for consideration.

"Yes. There is no other island as far as the eye can see. From there, we'll find another one!" Dr. Chandra agrees.

"Well then. We're going there." break up Dean.

They flew across the vast, blackish-looking ocean below. There was not a single ship sailing in the ocean.

"Hey, shouldn't the one twinkling over it be a plane?" point Robert at the height.

"Looks right. But it's too high and far away." Dean.

They refocused on the previous island. The distance turned out to be very far. That's why it looks so small. Once close enough, it looks real. The island was bigger than the island they had left behind.

The three people floated at a height and observed the island closely. A pitch-black night without months, very profitable. Darkness can disguise their presence from the sight of anyone who might be down there.

"It looks like there's nobody here" Dean said.

"Well, we've looked around. The island is uninhabited!" robert Timpal.

"What do you think, Doc?"

Dean and Robert turned their eyes toward Dr. Chandra. The old man was looking around.

"There are no other islands visible here. This where are we? It's so far away!" lirih doctor Chandra.

"Where about a break?" bargain Robert.

"You're right. After an hour's rest, we can fly in search of another island again." Dean agrees.

"How's Doc?" ask Dr. Chandra.

"It looks like we're in a vast ocean. This place is far from anywhere. That's why it's uninhabited," Robert said.

"Maybe." Dean nodded.

"alright. Let's take a break first. To anticipate people among the trees, we should go down on the beach alone," advises Dr. Chandra. He finally agreed to take a look at the island.

They're down on the beach. The place is quiet. Not heard only the sound of waves breaking rough rocks on the beach.

They're down the rocky coast. This place is overgrown with tall grass that itches and sticks to the end of trousers. The three just checked it in passing. Then continue to rise to the height, to reach the center of the island is inhabited by trees.

"Let me check around here" said Robert.

"I checked in here" Dean continued.

"I checked there. We'll see you here again" doctor Chandra breaks up.

"okay!"

The three men split up to check. It'll take a little longer, because Chandra's doctor won't let them fly. So you can only check on foot.

An hour later.

"There are enough trees here. It's just that there's no fresh water source" Robert said.

"If the island is to be used as an alibi, then there must be a natural freshwater source such as a river, pond with springs, or a small lake. It doesn't make sense to dig a well without digging equipment" Robert added.

"You're right." Dean agreed with Robert.

"What did you find, Doc?" ask Dean.

Robert and Dean were sitting on a tree that had fallen on the ground. While Chandra's doctor is still strolling around, it's like looking around for something.

"Don't you feel like this place is a little awkward?" Robert squinted his eyes.

"What's so weird?" Dean asked back.

"I don't know. But I feel a little awkward." Robert looked back and squinted his eyes, around the place.

Dean also looked more closely. But he still did not find the awkwardness that was meant by Robert.

"You guys found something?" ask doctor Chandra.

"Ohhhh!"

Dean and Robert were strangled, as they suddenly heard a voice behind them.

"Just surprised!" grumbling Robert.

Doctor Chandra looked at his two friends in surprise. What are you guys doing?" tanyanya wants to know. "It looks very serious. Until I came, you didn't realize it!"

"So Robert said he felt this place was awkward. But I don't see any awkwardness!" obviously Dean.

Doctor Chandra who had originally wanted to sit down and had already bowed, quashed his wish. His body straightened again and looked around carefully.

"I also feel that something is wrong with this place. That's why I'm finding out again. But he hasn't found it yet" says Dr Chandra.

Dean wails. If there are two people who feel strange, then it is no longer just a mere feeling.

"There must be something" he thought. Now he begins to analyze.

They were in the middle of the island surrounded by tall trees. Sitting on a tree falling on grassy ground. In front of them was only a grassy wasteland of nearly three hundred square meters. The grass here, is different from the one by the beach. There the grass is high and itchy. But here...."

"I know!" dean shouted with a bright face.

"What do you know?" ask doctor Chandra.

"The grass here seems to be treated regularly—"

"That means, there are people who often come to this island!" keep Robert.

"Is this a private island? In the middle of the ocean is a private island planted only with grass?" dean doesn't believe it.

"Do you believe the owner came just to trim the grass all day, then left again with his equipment? Lookie! Not even a cottage for a rest area, nothing!" continued again.

"You're right!" Robert stood up and began to be alert. He even observed the branches of trees near them.

Then, the sound of the engine roared, The ground on which they stood, shook.

"They're underground!" robert shouted in warning.

He already wanted to fly, when Chandra's doctor pulled Robert and Dean's hand. The two again stood to the left and right of Dr. Chandra.

"Doc!" robert protest.

"Do you want to reveal our true selves?" Doctor Chandra's question entered his second ear.

"Then how do you deal with it?" ask Dean.

In the middle of the island, the grassy ground had risen high into the roof of an enormous and majestic building.

"Why is there a building as large and grand as this one built in the middle of the island and hidden underground?" asked Dean in wonder.

"It must be because...."

Robert's speech was interrupted when he saw ten people in black uniforms with full weapons in hand, coming out from inside the building.

"Because they're bad guys? Robber plots? A pirate? Or ballast?" terka Dean's.

"They don't look like they have any good intentions, Doc. We have to fight!" urged Robert.

"Ruler! You must make a decision immediately!" Dean was pressing.

"But then they'll just dissect us! Don't you feel sorry for the humans we live in?" the Chandra doctor debate.

"But if we don't fight, we might get arrested!" rebut Robert.

"Isn't this the way to find your way home? Let's just say we're survivors. It's just the three of us! Don't reveal anything else until you're sure they're good people. How's it?" ask Dr. Chandra.

"Hello, who are you?"

The front-most gunman opened his head-protective helmet and asked.

Dean, Robert and Dr Chandra were a little unconcerned about being addressed in English. All three stared. Even more so when looking at the corn hair of the person in front of it.

"Where are we going, this?" inner Dean.
