This morning Dean woke up because the cold temperatures made him shiver. He saw the fireplace that lived coals. While adding wood, he woke Gilang, Alan and Indra who were in the same room.
"The air is colder than usual" Alan chirped as he hugged his hands to his chest. Then he approached the fireplace. "Is this not morning yet? Why don't I see the sunlight from behind the door?"
"It's 6 o'clock, but the sky still seems cloudy, maybe that's what makes the sunlight invisible." Dean looked at the clock.
"Indra, check your team's room."
Indra then went to another room through a connecting window. Dean also checked the ladies' room. The fire is still burning. Dean added firewood there. As Dean walked back into his room, Widuri woke up.
"Is it morning?" Widuri yawned while hugging both her hands.
"Hour 6. I added firewood to make the room warmer. Looks like the temperature was lower this morning due to last night's rain." Dean replied from there.
Widuri got out of her bed and sat by the fire. There was Nastiti sleeping. He was last seen last night. Widuri just let the girl fall asleep, she needs some rest. Widuri turned to the door, but no sunlight usually barged in through the sidelines of the pine leaves. He moved and lifted the wood to open the door. Then suddenly an avalanche hit him.. "Ohhhh.."
Widuri's screams scolded Dean and Alan in the next room. Dean ran in and saw some of Widuri's body buried in snow. Dean helped him stand up. Nastiti and Dewi woke up surprised to see the door almost covered in snow.
"How much snow is there?" asked Nastiti confused. While the Goddess was still dumbfounded and dazed as if her life had not been connected to the body.
"I want to open the door to take the snow and cook the water. Suddenly pushed down by a pile of snow." Widuri flicked her clothes full of snowflakes. "Why is this Dean?" Ask Dean who is still standing next to him to observe the door.
"It looked like the rain last night was very heavy and lasted a long time. The entrance to the shelter so buried new snow that has not been sturdy. When the door closed, the snow was stuck outside. But when the door was opened, the snow fell and went into the room." Obviously Dean.
"Aaahhh.." screams from the other room sounded. Everybody turn their heads. Alan who was still standing at the connecting window then turned around.
"Let me see" he said.
"What's wrong? This time the Goddess was already aware of the surroundings. "Snowcases" replied Nastiti. The goddess was wide-eyed, her eyes looking scared. Dean saw that.
"What's wrong.we're safe," Dean said calmly. We just need to get this snow out. Make ends. Open the entrance again. Sturdy the walls compact these snows."
"Dean, the door to the next room is also covered in snow." Alan reported. Sunil and Gilang had already woken up due to the commotion. Only the middle room had not experienced an avalanche because the door had not yet been opened, so the two looked at the door attentively. Not yet Gilang spoke his mind, sounding.
"That door should not be opened. Wait after it's cleared from the outside." Dean reminded. They nodded.
"Let's clean this up first," asked Widuri to follow Dean who had started work. Dean used a tray to grab more snow into the room. Spread it on the floor then stomp to compress. Waturi and Alan helped. Dewi and Nastiti moved the pedestals and bags onto the snowbed.
With the help of his team members, the work was quickly completed. The shelter entrance can be passed. Dean came out towards the shelter in the middle. The top of the door was still visible, it would make it easier for them to clear the way to the entrance. Indra and his team members are also out.
"Don't forget to bring a spear" Indra reminded. The two people nodded and returned to the room to pick up the spear.
"Be careful stepping, the snow is very thick but not sturdy" Marianne reminded.
"Yes. I'll watch." Reply Gilang while walking away with Leon.
Dean approached Indra. "I'll check on Team 3. Snow is thick. Worried they couldn't find this place if the signs I'd made were snowbound." Indra nodded.
"I'll help clear this entrance and collect the wood while waiting for you to return. Dean patting.
Dean returns to the room and sees Widuri, Nastiti and Dewi cooking the water and grilling the rest of the fish. Dean poured the warm water in the teapot into the cup to fill his empty stomach. "I'm going to check on the state of team 3" said Dean picking up a metal tray and spear near the entrance. A match was also tucked in his pants pocket. 'Today's travel plans may be delayed. But the important thing is to ensure the safety of everyone's inner Dean while stepping out.
Along the way the thick snow buried all the traces and marks that Dean left behind. But Dean didn't forget the direction, because he had passed through the place many times. But even so, Dean still put up some new signs as a guide for other friends so as not to get lost.
Arriving at the place he thought was the location of the first shelter. But Dean saw nothing but the snow-white color that covered all the surfaces. 'It's so thick this pile. Is the shelter completely buried?' dean thinks he's worried. He moved with great difficulty, as the snow was already almost on his thighs. Dean would occasionally dredge up piles of snow and compress them under his feet to make a strong foothold.
Dean looked at the trees around him. Look for 3 trees that grow side by side forming a triangle. It's not easy, some trees look uprooted. After some time checking around and unable to confirm the tree he was looking for, Dean finally shouted: "Robert.. Robert.. Where are you.!" Dean had to walk carefully, because he did not want to step on the roof of the shelter and fall into the can make the snow collapse and hoard everyone.
"Robert..! Barrels..! Doctor Chandra..! Did you guys hear me?" Shouted Dean again. "Roberts. Barrels. Michael. Where are you guys." Dean called many times. Walk around the place he believed to be where his first shelter was made. But Dean did not find the 3 trees that grew side by side.
"Oh..!" Dean stumbled onto something in the snow. He tried to sit and observe the surroundings. Then scrape the snow looking for what made him stumble earlier. That's a log. Dean cleared the snow following the direction of the log. He's dumbfounded. That's bonding. Dean continued to clear the snow following another wood tied with the first wood. 'True, this is the roof of the shelter' he thought and continued to clean up the piled snow covering the roof of the shelter.
"Roberts.. Barrels.. Michael.. Nikens.. Did you guys hear me?" Call Dean while uncovering the pine leaves that cover the roof. Dean heard a coughing sound from inside. "Dean?" the heavy voice of someone calling his name was weak.
"Robert, it's me. Thank goodness you answered. How's it going in there?" Dean could not hide his clear voice sounding worried.
"Not so good in here. Hurry up." replied Robert. Dean continues to clear the snow on the shelter wall to open the driveway. Dean dredges the snow with a tray, throwing it aside. Finally the shelter door was not blocked by snow anymore. Dean lifted the covering logs entirely and stepped inside. Everyone was seen sleeping, except for Robert who looked weak and sleepy but continued to fight his drowsiness.
"Did they faint or sleep?" Dean looked for firewood in the room and made a fireplace. The room was cold and without fire.
"They're so cold that they can't fight the drowsiness." Robert painstakingly approached the fire to warm himself. "If you come later, then we'll sleep here forever." The sound of teeth grinding with coldness rang out, leaving Dean stunned, 'It's my fault I made a shelter like this' Dean's inner self.
Clenching his jaw violently due to his emotions and guilt, Dean immediately picked up the pot and walked out of the room without saying anything. He took the snow to cook the warm water. Dean checked out the other teammates. Their bodies were cold and their breathing was very slow. They seem to be alive, just asleep like they are hibernating due to the cold weather. Dean added firewood to make the fire bigger and able to warm everyone. That's the only way to wake them up. Dean rubbed his palms on their hands in turn, to stimulate the nerves and senses of his friends, while calling out their names.
