SURVIVORS
Chaptre 87. Stiffen

Suddenly Dean lifted his head. He remembered something. Z is still in front of the cave. Water in the stone cup.

"You take care of Sunil. I'll check on Alan," Dean ordered before darting away leaving a golden shadow.

"Z, hang on" Dean murmured. He knew that Z used his soul power to resist the blue O burst of light from burning the cave contents. He must have also been severely injured, but still split his soul to search for the existence of Sunil's body within that hot fog.

Dean finds a confused Widuri sitting next to an unconscious Alan. Hot white steam emanates from Alan's body. Widuri fanned Alan with a piece of cloth, until the hot steam was increasingly out everywhere.

"Z, I'm sorry, I'm late to help you" Dean said.

He lifted a little back Alan up to half sitting. Drink water from Alan's mouth until it runs out.

"Get some more water from the stone wall" Dean ordered Widuri as he thrust the cup in his hand.

This time Widuri did not argue. The cup immediately grabbed him and then stepped into the stone passageway.

Dean laid Alan's body back on the floor. Closing the cave door by arranging the stones scattered there. The stones were not enough, leaving a hole in the top of the cave mouth. But Dean's letting that go right now.

'Tomorrow can still continue to close the entire gap if it is necessary, ' he thought.

He lifts Alan's body to the pool where drops of water from the ceiling and the flow of water from the stone-tub room meet. Alan's body was slowly put into the pool. Dean held Alan's head fixed on the surface of the water as his body sank.

"What are you doing?!" Widuri shouted furiously and ran chasing into the pool. The water in the stone cup splashed out.

Dean's face flushed looking at that.

"You know that water can save his life. But you spilled it on purpose. Do you want him to die after repeatedly helping stubborn people like you?!" Dean's voice boomed and resonated in the cave. A golden glint from his eyes instantly restrained the pace of Widuri's legs.

Widuri was stunned and retreated unconsciously. His eyes widened at Dean's anger. Never been Dean like this. Is that Dean or A?

Dean lifted Alan's soaked body into the air. The hot steam that had been emitted earlier was gone. Dean left Widuri who was still standing stiffly without looking at him at all. He grabbed the cup in Widuri's hand as it passed. They disappeared inside the stone passageway.

Widuri felt her legs tremble and soften unable to hold her position again. Slowly his body slumped and sat on the wet cave floor. His body shakes. His heart was pounding hard and fast.

Widuri was angry and surprised. Never had he been so snatched. His body stopped automatically due to the shock. And Widuri was angry because of the cowardly reaction her body showed. In that he felt he had done nothing wrong.

"Why is he yelling at me? I did what he asked. I ran to bring water for Alan."

Widuri grumbled in annoyance but then came to a halt when she saw both of her hands empty.

"Where is that stone cup? Where's water? Is that what makes Dean mad? Did I forget to take it or spill it?"

"Ahhhhhhhh.. Damnit.. I'm really careless and stupid."

Widuri hit her own head while continuing to regret her attitude that troubled her friends.

In the room, Dewi and Nastiti begin to notice changes in Sunil's physique. Slowly but surely, the burnt-out skin was replaced by a healthy new skin without any trace of burning. Clean smooth like skin that routinely gets treatment at a beauty clinic.

"Amazing out. I also want to have skin this good."

The eyes of Goddess and Nastiti could not be separated to observe the change. Until they suddenly turned around with faces as red as tomatoes.

"You see that?" nastiti asked while covering her face.

"Oohhh. My eyes are stained." Nastiti ran out of the room.

"Why don't we realize his clothes are on fire? You stupid fool." Dewi patted her hot cheeks and followed Nastiti out.

The two had just arrived at the end of the hallway of the room when Dean returned with Alan's body floating following.

"Why are you here?" asked Dean in wonder.

"We.we.." Both can only point inward.

Dean's eyebrows linked to their behavior. So he immediately took a step forward to see what happened.

Dean finds that Sunil's body has started to improve as he expected. Then he realized something and smiled to himself. Opened a storage area in Sunil's necklace to pick up other clothes. Replace Sunil's clothes carefully. Then move and lay him in the transmission room next to Z's body.

Alan was placed on a stone tub. Dean began to hold the water with a stone cup and then drank it to Alan.

"Hopefully it's not too late. I'm sorry Z. The lousy woman always refuted until she delayed your work. Even in times of emergency, he's still smart enough to possibly put your life at risk. I have no choice but to keep him outside until your condition improves. So please, get well soon. Or I'll keep getting angry at him."

Dean complained while continuing to hold water and splash it on Alan's body, until Alan was completely drenched. Dean's hand motion felt like an automatic machine that continuously moved to accommodate and flush Alan with water.

Alan opened his eyes slowly. His body feels cold. He saw Dean holding water and then the water in the cup was poured into his body. Then the hand returned to hold the water.

Alan frowned looking at that. He looked at Dean's face carefully. Her eyes, her cheeks wet with tears without a sound. Alan again felt the water flutter his body.

"Do you intend to freeze me?"

Alan raised his eyebrows. Alan's voice suddenly stopped Dean's hand, changed his expression, and turned to Alan.

"You're sober? What do you feel? You all right? You.." Dean's endless questioning came to a halt when he saw Alan trying to get up.

"You're chatty. Help me get down," Alan scolded.

"Ah, yes. Be careful." replied Dean sprightly. He was grateful that Alan was okay.

Alan stood beside the stone tub. He didn't find Sunil.

"Where's O?" ask Dean.

"I lay it down in the transmission room." Dean came forward but was stopped by Z.

"Wash your face and clean your snot first. What would the women say if they found out that a genius A was crying to a grim?" ledek Z nosy.

"Ahh. yeah." Dean turned around and immediately held water to wash his face.

Z stepped into the transmission room. Then he stopped at the door when he realized his clothes were soaking wet and dripping water on the floor of the room. A warm red light filled the room. The Z body is dry again. The remaining water on the floor also evaporated. The floor was back to dry.

Z lifted Sunil's body and put it back in the stone tub.

"Give him enough to drink," Z's orders to Dean were answered with an obedient nod of the head.

Z returned to the transmission room and found his dead leg on the floor. He watched the pias' face. A familiar face, but impossible to occupy anymore.

"I think I can rest in peace in this body. But A just moved me to another body. So, you rest. Our world is gone. Now I'm going to explore this new world. I promise I'll try to live well."

Alan spoke for himself. Then he took the necklace and the asterisk on the body's chest. Through the stone panel, Z checked the information contained in the asterisk.

Z again found Dean standing waiting next to the stone tub. A smooth snoring sounded from above the stone tub. It must be Sunil.

"Help me to bury Z's body" Alan said.

Alan exited while carrying Z's body floating behind him. Dean walked ahead.

"Where are you going?" ask the Goddess who saw Dean and Alan come out. followed by a body that floated.

"We want to bury Z's body." Dean said.

"How's sunil?" ask Nastiti.

"He was sleeping. You guys get some rest, too. We'll catch up." replied Dean.

"Well, we'll take Widuri to rest."

Dewi and Nastiti walk towards the cave room where they used to live. Tonight was exhausting. They really need a break.

"Hoaammmmhaha. I'm gonna sleep till noon. It's so tired" said the Goddess as she yawned.

"Stretch," added Nastiti.
